Convenient. Comfortable. I liked getting asked preferences ahead of time and text responses back.
Extra fees--resort fee and parking fee.
Hotel was convenient to airport.
Hotel is older with few amenities. The beach is in the harbor so the water is not very clean. I only stay here if I fly in a day early or fly out a day late to save on airfare while using my timeshare. I could not imagine staying here as my primary hotel for a week or more. Internet is very slow and room was musty/damp smelling when we checked in. There were fans in the hallway blowing into another room to dry it out. Could have been from the high surf a few days earlier.
the Internet did not work, the shuttle could not pick me up.. no restaurant after a certain hour at $157 a night this is a rip off...
The staff was nice, AirPort shuttle was good.
The location is poor, the beach is not well suited for swimming, the place desperately needs renovation. Stay in Lahaina or go camping instead.
Close to the airport with easy check in.
Cramped rooms, overpriced for what you get, recommend for business travelers only.
Upgrade... Towels look old... Found cockroach in one of the beds...and curtains are stained and ripping!
Just needs to be up dated
People at desk are sweet but not sophisticated in terms of customer service.
When they checked us in they gave us the keys and we dragged our suitcases up 5 stairs thru security doors to a room WHICH WAS OCCUPIED!!!! Oh my gosh, late and tired, we returned to the desk, leaving some luggage at the first location, but then we were moved to a room on the total opposite corner of the facility! They should have had someone move our bags to the new room. There are inner doors that require the room key which are very hard to open.
close to the airport clean
O.K. service no beach towels Hygiene amenities are in dispensers - soap/shampoo no lotion no real concierge service
Location was only convenient to the airport. Beach was near industrial port, not nice for swimming. Rooms were warn, small and cramped. Facilities were minimal, for instance the "Fitness Center" had one broken exercise bike, one treadmill and hand held dumb-bells. The pool was unused and the kitchen was rarely open. The AC (needed in this case) was grossly underpowered to keep the room cool.
Closeness to the airport
Cheap amenities. The shampoo, body wash and hand soap were all the same.
Proximity to the airport is nice.
This place is not for kids. Run down, under maintained, not child safe and definitely much different than the portrayal online. The beach is next to a homeless encampments. It's also the harbor where cruise ships dock and is filled with glass and smells like an ash tray. Rooms are dated, run down and not child safe. We will not be back. Online it looks like a nice medium level hotel, which is not the case. Staff is nice.
Guys gathering around or hanging out in hallways. Felt unsafe at night in hallwsys. Paid a resort fee when there is no resort. this place is something that u can rent by the hour.
Quiet, clean, cheaper than most other hotels
$10 extra charge per day for things that should already be included with hotel such as.... Wifi, safe in room wifi at pool, coffee, and a couple other things. Or should be an option not a mandatory charge for those things.
Location is good for near airport. Clean, dated, plain. We only stayed here due to late night flight and access to airport. Used for one night stay.
Phone did not work in room so could not contact front desk about the internet not working. Was given a phone number to contact IT support. Didn't use it. Slow dated internet. Worked with cell phone but not with computer. People smoking outside by air-conditioner (wall unit) so you get smoke smell in room. They charge $5/night to park here. Ridiculous when there is no place else to park.
Close to Airport. We have knowledge of multiple times when accidents blocked traffic and prevented people from making their flight. Not wanting to pack and go early, we booked. Very nice grounds and gazebo
Parking $5 and Resort fee of $10 for wifi and things we didn't use. Hall carpeting was tired, very tired. AC was slow to cool. Very small shower. The topper was when I tried to make coffee, I poured water into the coffee maker, several kernels of corn floated up!
It is close to the airport which is nice but for sure not the Mariott. Nice staff!
My friends and I wanted to spend a few days in maui. The maui beach hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and aesthetically pleasing. It was frustrating that the pool closed so early at 5 and that there were no pool towels available. The location is close to the airport and the free shuttle through the hotel goes withing a 3 mile radius of the hotel, so that was VERY convenient and we used it all the time. The hotel is not that close to many tourist activities or towns, however, the main bus station is right across the street at the mall so it was super easy to take the bus (our favorite island as far as convenient public transportation). For the convenience to the bus, airport, the shuttle, the room, this hotel was well worth the price. It's convenient to stay at for business or pleasure and it so much cheaper than a hotel in any of the larger towns. I would stay here again.
location was pretty good. food was nice, pool on 2nd floor, staff was wonderful.
feels a little old
Its a minimal hotel that you could stay overnight for a trip to Hana.
Hallways could be neater. Old wrung out carpets everywhere. The A/C unit was not very functional.
