My favorite thing to do on my stay was to lunch at the rooftop. Lounging was never more enjoyable. The rooftop concierge assures your comfort and pleasure with details I hadn't even thought of ! I was solo and she made my hours on the rooftop a relaxing and luxurious experience-she was like having my personal concierge! The wait staff was extremely polite , friendly , pleasant (but they didn't intrude on my privacy---which is very important to me when I have my rare 'down time' ----and they were very efficient as well. The lobby was busy at all times, but very peaceful with attentive staff ready to assist and the large area flowed nicely into a great gift shop and the salon services were outstanding. I loved the surrounding area with West Hollywood and other shopping nearby. WILL RETURN AS SOON AS I GET A CHANCE !!! London Rooftop, here I come!
The location of this hotel couldn't be better--in the heart of West Hollywood, on the cusp of Beverly Hills. Easy to get to and from either driving or taking a cab. Amazing restaurants and shopping nearby. Both high end and affordable stores. Tons of local cafes in walking distance where you might (just might!) spot a celebrity. The hotel has taxis and a house car on the premises. All of which take nearly a matter of seconds to get. The complimentary breakfast buffet is full of healthy treats and the option to order off of Gordon Ramsey's breakfast menu is such a treat as well. Truly a decadent hotel. Gorgeous lobby with trendy couches and fun pictures the size of the elevator doors. The rooftop is phenomenal. Gorgeous panoramic views, a bar, shaded cabanas and unshaded seats as well. The guests are fabulous and the staff is on-point. The customer service from the moment you arrive to the second you leave is just amazing. The hotel even had a live bulldog at the front desk for guests...
I loved staying here. I never felt harassed or pressured to leave my room if I had decided to stay in. The staff were helpful and polite and always made me feel welcome in all parts of the hotel. Nothing seemed impossible here and I would stay again in a heartbeat.
I have never stayed at a more luxurious hotel in my life! The bathroom had an amazingly spacious tub that I literally could of stayed in all day long! The wait staff was very attentive and I felt very secure in the hotel. The London is my all time favorite hotel! They even tweeted me when I got there! How fun is that?! I almost forgot to say how delicious their Gordon Ramsey breakfast was! Especiallythe fresh macaroons ;-)
Great location and excellent service. This hotel is a bit pricey though.
My 3-night stay at the London was very memorable. I had a Crowne Suite (which is a corner suite), which has views of both the LA skyline and the Hollywood Hills. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern (two shower heads in the shower). The decor is retro mid-century modern. The hotel has secure access to the upper floors (you need you room key to take the elevator to any of the upper floors). The rooftop pool has beautiful, sweeping views of LA/Hollywood. All of the staff are quite personable and welcoming. Gordon Ramsay restaurant (located in the hotel) is nice, but I wasn't overly impressed with the food. There are lots of good restaurants in the area to choose from, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend Gordon Ramsay over some of the other neighborhood gems.
The London Hotel is gorgeous! It's the old Belage on Sunset, but has been totally re-done. The rooms and the bathroom are huge and the location is a great starting point to any thing in L-A. The restaurant and the rooftop pool wasn't open yet, so they offered guests a delicious complimentary breakfast. I'm not sure if that will last once everything is up and running. The Fitness center was nice and we snuck a peak at the rooftop pool, which looks like it's going to be great place to have drinks and hang out once it's open!! The only downside---the 30 dollar a night valet they charge automatically, but i guess that's becoming the norm. Definately stay here...especially if you can get the discount rate while they're still renovating--I'm sure prices will go up once they're done!
I traveled to LA with my 2 girls (11 and 13) and we loved this hotel. Very lovely and very comfortable beds. Very good location. Just off Sunset. Walked to several restaurants day and night and felt safe. The staff at Bel Age is top notch. I would recommend eating at other places other than hotel ... kind of pricy and you get so much more of everything on Sunset. Pool is on top of hotel w/a very heated pool ... views were priceless. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
This hotel is right where you want to be for the night life. You can crawl from the Viper Room or the Whiskey to the hotle if needed. The Rainbow is just down the street. Great midnight area.
