The meeting, greeting and transfer service was pleasant and reliable but...
... we had to ask a Greek friend to phone up for us to find out how to access the place, which is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Spetses Town. It would have been better to know this at the time of booking. The place was a bit like a ghost building as we were about the last guests at the close of season.
fighting with the receptionist-which was the only person we ever saw- for the dead mosqitos all over the walls and the dirty sheets in bed
the rudness of the receptionist, the absent of any responsoible to solve our problems
The young guy that worked in the office was very nice and helpful throughout the trip. The rooms were small but comfortable.
The room was very clean. Also the view from our balcony was very nice. We didn't have breakfast but other residents told us that the breakfast was good. In addition, the guy at the reception at Dapia harbour was very polite and helpful. Finally, I love it when the rooms have air-conditioning because it's terrible to sleep without one in the heat.
The hotel was ok but definitely not worth the money. The room was small and a little claustrophobic. Maybe it was just our room, it doesn't mean that every room in the hotel is like that. Also, it's far away from the old harbour and even though there are some restaurants close by and one bar (that closes early), all the bars are in the old harbour and you need to have a motorcycle to go there. We had to take a taxi every day because, although the area seems very safe, we didn't want to walk 30-40 minutes in the dark. This means that we had to pay 20 euros every day for the taxi alone. It's ok if you only want to go to the Dapia harbour because that is around 10-15 minutes walk away.
Breakfast, very poor..
