Good location in Mountain Village near resort - our room had a great view.
Bookshelf in room was falling apart, dresser drawer in bedroom was broken, trash was left in public spaces in resort, our breakfast card did not get picked up, we had to ask to get our room cleaned, and the hotel's restaurant had terrible service.
Nice rooms and public spaces. Friendly staff. Wonderful pool area and in a beautiful setting.
The rooms need air conditioning. Parking fee and resort fee seem too high.
I loved everything about the peaks. It all comes together at Peaks, food, location, food, letting my dog stay, and best of all, the spa is perfection.
The spa and the views
Our room was really hot, we even turned off the thermostat. There was a chair in our room that mad it small. We couldn't open both closet doors. It was I. The way and was not that good looking of a chair.
the 'resort' fees and parking fees. Together these added $45.00 a day to our bill
Unexpected costs. Mandatory $25 'hotel fee' and $20 valet parking (no self parking available) made this a lot more expensive than I was expecting. Made for a disappointing overall experience.
The man who checked us in was very helpful & accommodating Loved the location & view from our room. Room was very nice. Nice in the high altitude that they supply free bottled water.
Even though non-smoking we would get smoke odor in our room. Awakened at 3AM because of it & had trouble getting back to sleep. Also happened the next morning. Girl at the desk only offered to move us if it happened again. Need more outlets bedside.
location and views
could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom
Wonderful room with a balcony, fantastic view, very comfortable beds.
Were out of breakfast sandwiches to purchase
Location and views were amazing.
The staff were completely lacking in professionalism and attention to detail, from dirty shirts on the waiter to dismissive desk clerk to maids who left carts crosswise in the hallways.
Location is perfect- it's a beautiful building. The deck at the bar is beautiful. I love the spa/pool.
No AC in our room-even with all bedroom windows open in the fall, it's They offer extra box fans! Staff wasn't always around to help-bar/valet. Room floor wasn't vacuumed around wall edges. Cleaning staff didn't bother to clean giant window smudge 2days.
The computers were down and it took us a long time to get checked in.
The rooms were newly renovated and looked clean and sophisticated. The spa and the water slide were great to unwind.
We were put into a room that was a connecting room and unfortunately there was no sound barrier between the two. We could hear the other guests full on conversation and were woken up at 6AM. Our connecting door was also not locked. Huge safety problem.
$25 resort fee was a bad surprise $20 valet parking with no self parking. Staff not cooperative and couldn't even find the right room to fix our
The attentive staff especially at the bell desk get an A for their prompt service with valet and local advice.
Only thing missing was air conditioning. It got pretty warm in my room even with the windows open and box fan on high.
Resort fee and parking fee added an additional $50 per day. That was outrageous.
Loved this place. Music playing in lobby . l$25 resort fee well worth it . Spa is wonderful . Clean
Pillow top. Bed too soft for ny taste
No air, door not sound proofed. Clearly hear cleaning staff, barking dogs. Sock left in closet. Safenot working. Front desk indifferent. Food came w no serving tray after we called twice. TV making like the 50s With the snow on the screen. No PPV.
Room service was answering maching that didn't call back. After we waited 15-20min called back finally got someone. Food arrived almost one hour later. Did not have a serving tray. Wood work is very old cracking warping little or no maintenance.
Hidden fees, required valet parking with $20 fee per day, required spa fee with $25 per day. It was impossible to know about the valet fee without knowing what the hotel was.
Over all the hotel was nice looking and good views. Most of the staff was pleasant and cordial.
My husband found dead bugs (which he cleaned up quickly before I could see them). The housecleaning was somewhat under par for my taste;hair and not ours were in the bed when I opened it. (Near the head of the bed.)Housekeeping was loudly pounding on door
Location and views.
$25 per night mandatory parking fee, $25 per night mandatory resort fee, $75 per stay mandatory pet fee. Housekeeping had to be reminded to clean our room after our first night and didn't come at all after our second night.
Parking and 'resort fee' added $50 to my bill (when the room itself was---). I wouldn't have booked this hotel had I known . Also, hot tub outside and gym close very early and outdoor hot tub was cold.
Proximity to the town of Telluride.
Heaters in rooms activate even when temperature reduced. Air became uncomfortably hot and dry. Only solution was to give us a fan. Jacuzzi closes very early, before dark. Valet parking put car in locked garage and had to shuttle to car everytime.
