Provincetown, better known to locals as P-town, is set on the furthest point of Cape Cod and is about as untraditional as it gets. With a large gay community; cross dressers, drag queens, and street performers are about as common in this town as clapboard homes and clam chowder. Live music and entertainment keep Commercial Street busy with plenty of activities, restaurants, and bars that said, those seeking quiet romance and charm should probably stay closer in on Route 6.
