Points positifs : The worst part is I was overcharged and I need to know how to dispute the amount billed through Kayak.
Points négatifs : The personnel at Alamo were not the friendliest. I was given incorrect information regarding vehicles available.

Points négatifs : Booked car in advance and when we drove 50 minutes to the car rental center, they tell us they don’t have a car for us. Horrible experience.

Points négatifs : The worst part of the rental car experience is the initial pick-up at the counter. The Alamo staff always try to up-sale you and won’t take a simple “no thank-you” for an answer. Once I decline the upgrade being offered (which wasn’t really an upgrade), the staff is still persistant in trying to tell me why I made the wrong decision. This is extremely frustrating and customers shouldn’t be made to feel badly about their selected car class. In my case, I had spent time researching various car classes and comparing rates across several companies. After much research, I decided on a compact SUV from Alamo as the vehicle that best suited my needs as well as had a good rate. After a long international flight, the last thing I want to do is debate the rental car clerk about why I chose that vehicle and why I don’t care to upgrade (for more money) to a standard car. I felt there was a fair amount of “mansplaining” happening as well because as a female, I’m not able to pick out a car that beat meets my needs. I hate dealing with the rental counter! Alamo should expand their options for car pick-up at a kiosk which eliminates the frustrating encounters with staff as well as reduce overall wait time in line.

Points positifs : Walter at the check in counter was great. Long out of control lines to get the car, with 2 representatives working. Walter helped customers with the automated check in system
Points négatifs : Enterprise is running their operations, Enterprise, National and Alamo like a company that no longer cares about the customer and/or repeat business.
Points positifs : The staff was very helpful and welcoming! The vehicle was great! New and spotless! Drop off was super easy!

Points négatifs : Car had a lingering cigarette smell for the first couple days till we could air it out enough.

Points positifs : Drop off was super easy. I like that I could collect my vehicle pass at a kiosk but they need an awareness campaign. It was extremely confusing and the area was too crowded to social distance properly. That was unnerving.
Points négatifs : The availability of the vehicle I selected. I was upgraded but, in Atlanta, it was harder to park and maneuver a large SUV.
