Great bed had a frig coffee maker no mocrowave
Great bed. Balcony.
Location. Rooms. Staff. Clean. Parking!!! A quick painless drive over to CSUN. The price - but it's The Valley, everything is expensive.
Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Bien situé. Calme.
Facility is not well kept up...... toilet was not flushing in the first room they assigned to me; was told the maintenance staff was not available, but they did move right away; the smell on the second floor hallway was offensive .......the staff does the best they can with the realities of ownership/management.......could never stay there again.....even in area thats seems safe, they had a guard in their parking lot......
The concierge office was good with instructions. Registration was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived and went to our room, they had not made the bed and the pillows were on the chair in the room. The room cleaning staff was not real up to the standard that Marriott offers other places. We found a wet towel on our side table one day, they never replaced the glasses once they were used. They either left them or just did not replace them even though they were gone or dirty. They did not remove used food on plates from the room - Had to place them in the hall for them to get taken. Left things as if they had not finished their job. It seems that the cleaning staff needs to be taught the proper things to do. DO NOT leave rooms unfinished! The concierge lounge was not what it has been at other stays in other areas. They ran out of food each evening. The selection was not at all what it has been other locations. The staff in this area were not very friendly.
The room was comfortable and adequate. It was pretty inexpensive going through an online source. Having said all the negative comments it is tons better than most hotel rooms I have been in. They did not give free wi fi. I tried to use my computer with a wire in the business room and it did not work. The lobby was so noisy that it was impossible to use the computer there even though in the lobby the wi-fi was "free". The parking was like a block away and you had to pay. They were short on amenities. I felt like they were nickel and diming me. The nice view they gave me was rather short on the nice. ,They did not give free wi fi. We liked the comfortable beds and updated room. The hotel had everything we needed - although we didn't have the chance to try much out since we were staying there after a late wedding and left early morning. Valet was overpriced. For the price of the room self-park should at least be free. The room location (318) was level with the gravel top roof building below - unsightly and defeated the purpose of having a balcony.
I had reserved 5 rooms each with 2 double beds. At checkin I was given 4 rooms each with a King bed & 1 room with 2 double beds. Each room was to accommodate a family of 4. Clearly, 4 people would not fit on 1 King bed. I was offered a rollaway in only 1 of the rooms with a King & told that there were no more rollaways available. Some members of my party could not stay at the hotel & went to stay with local relatives. Shame on Marriott for not honoring the reservations as made!!
Location and price. Starbucks in the lobby. The hotel overall felt old, tired and way overdue for a complete renovation.
This was not a fancy but a very clean motel which was situated in a good location for our trip. A very good value for the price. Well maintained and clean.
This place was so outdated and unlean..ants in the bathroom, bugs and mosquitoes inside because Windows wouldn't shut. The towels under your dirty microwave is just gross. Breakfast included is jet fuel coffee and day old muffins. I didn't personally book this, but i would not recommend to anyone who is wanting to sleep, stay clean, or enjoy their visit to woodland hills.
Comfortable bed Blood stains on sheets, continental breakfast sucked, pool not clean, linens dirty. Super 8 wouldn't give us Wyndham rewards points
Nothing Rooms nasty , dirty , smoke smell
Convenient location, clean rooms, large bed, friendly staff and a light breakfast.
Bed was comfortable The room was gross. Furniture was very disgusting and horrible. The bathroom was tiny and gross
Big room. Price. Room needs updating.
Available Bad customer service

The fact that each room didn't have its own iron and ironing board although it was advertised as available. The breakfast was also minimal for the price at which the room was rented. This is in comparison to rooms for the same price in the vicinity.

It was very clean.
Nothing Disgusting filthy full of fleas filthy TMZ filthy
We checked in late and when we got to our room the people upstairs we VERY LOUD. There kids were jumping off the beds. We complained and it still persisted. We asked to be moved to a different room but there were none available. Lasted till 1 or 2am. The location. The beds aren't very comfortable and only one pillow per guest
Breakfast, room confortable. Clean. I got a smoking room I'm a non smoker.
The location was great for us because we were doing something in the area. The staff was really nice--they even okayed me to park in a handicapped spot without my placard (my daughter uses a wheelchair). The breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent! They also have a small store in the lobby with reasonably priced items. All of the electrical outlets in our room were LOOSE. Can you say fire hazard? The beds were firmer spring type mattresses which worked for my daughter, but not for me. The cheap rooms are right on the road and according to my daughter it can be loud at night (I go to bed early and sleep like a log).
Price Lobby smelled like a tobacco farm. Noisy. Slow front desk service, almost rude. Will not stay again!
the pool and outside area were quiet and clean the hot tub looked dirty but everything was clean
1. Close to our event 2. Affordability 3. familiarity of location 4.breakfast 5. parking 6.facility You need to steam-clean sidewalk of black spots
Facility was conveniently located off major highway, quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the free parking and internet. Breakfast was fair at best with mainly cold cereal and toast.
great stay great staff so helpfull need dvd players in the room
A very decent hotel, with big, clean rooms on a nice and quiete street in Chatsworth. The breakfast was very poor and every day the same. No cheese, no meat, no eggs, only sweet (honey, jam, etc, etc.)
Convenient location ( off the 101, as we were headed to Lompoc) and friendly staff. Overall ok hotel for what we needed. Somewhat run down and the rooms are very small! Only one queen bed in most rooms and we needed up having to get a third room ( we had planned to stay 2 adults and 2 kids in one room, which is not possible) But my request for another room was accommodated and the front desk girl gave me a matches rate for the room for the night, which was appreciated.
Nice place to stay for the money. Clean, bed was pretty comfortable. Decent pool area although it didn't look anything like the picture they have of it. Easy 101 freeway access and about 15 minutes to north hollywood and universal studios. And about 15 minutes to Malibu. Fast food and gas within walking distance/ Mcdonalds, taco bell, jack in the box, subway 7-11 and a grocery store. Quiet, didn't hear any other guest noise. They make everyone sign a noise release so it keeps everyone on their toes. Not luxury accomodations by any means but for what they charge, the location and cleanliness is great. Would stay here again. Keep in mind that the price you are given online is about 15 dollars less than what you wil actually pay, due to taxes. Parking stalls are very close together but there are more than enough spaces to accomodate every guest. Room was stuffy, had to keep the air conditioner on all night and it blew curtains open. If you go here during summer, bring a "chip clip" or something to clip the curtains closed.
The hotel room was very clean. The staff were all helpful and courteous The price was great I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Hope to stay there again Thank you
The location. It was clean. False advertising about "Free Wifi". It was only free for 24 hours for 2 devices and then you had to pay. Uncomfortable beds. Not a great experience with the staff. Called to get an early check in, was told it would be no problem by 2 different people. We still had to wait.
The valet parking chaps were efficient and helpful and fresh breakfast was fast and good electronic key had to be changed on 3rd day sd it wasnt programmed for my full stay
The proximity to Universal studios was great. The porter/valet, front desk and concierge were all very friendly.
Arrived with family and Young Children. At midnight had a fire alarm that told us to exit the building via Staircase. We did. carrying 2 children and 20 flights of stairs later. We were told, It was the steam from the kitchen that caused it, go back to the room. 1 am, this gets repeated again. We get told someone was smoking, go back to the room. This happens again. We just go to the staircase with no energy to walk down 20 flights of stairs. We call 45 min. later to find out (false alarm). So next morning - the staff gets approached and we get told oh there was a party on the 21st floor that was using a fog machine. I asked why not have a PA system in the stairs so you can notify the people to not panic or there's a fire on the 2nd floor or anything. They said oh I know.. WTF.. I know. I just left with family never to return to that one again.
I like the assistance the hotel provided in helping us plan our trip and visit sights around the area. Our room had a used cot in it when we arrived, but they handled it quickly and moved us to a new room.
I loved the location; close to Universal but also a short drive from Hollywood and Warner Brothers. Walking distance to small restaurants and gas stations. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! And the view from the 20th floor was incredible. The room needs some updating. Dings and marks were visible on the walls and the bathroom showed definite signs of wear.
The public area is very nice Check in was very delayed. No iron in room. No wifi and public computers didn't work properly
I did like that my room was ready on time and that it had a view. When I arrived there was a leak in the restroom that they did not fix... I has the same issue with the water leaking from the toilet when I woke up the next morning. Also the morning I checked out the TV did not work and I had to call room service to fix it and reprogram it. The price was not up to par with the type of room I was given.
Location as it is closed to the Universal studio No water being provided
Vary close to park and city walk. Vary clean and friendly service.
Location, location and location - that's the only thing positive about this hotel. Otherwise, it is no better than a poor hotel with bad everything - Rooms are aged (badly need remodeling) - Rooms are not kept up and clean (there was mildew buildup around the sink and it was blocked for us) - Service is poor (45 min to get shower cap)
Close to visit Universal Studios and not far from airport.
5 minutes walking to Universal Studios! Staff was super friendly and the room service was fanastic. Nothing!!!!
Room was clean, bed was comfortable and amenities were decent. Shower was clean although it did have a drain issue that I solved by unscrewing the stopper. Turning the A/C on causes the curtains to blow in the wind, which in the morning caused the sun to intrude.
Being woken Up to the manager and a guest screaming at each other at he top of there lungs
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast only had high-carb bread items.
The beds are comfortable. The front desk clerk was horribly RUDE. Apparently they require a $100 deposit if you use a debit card but this is not stated anywhere. We were using a debit/credit card and even though I asked him to run it as credit he refused and kept asking for the deposit. The front desk clerk was not going to let us check in due to this policy even though we explained we had the money but it would have left us flat broke. He finally waived it after my wife came up and explained we did not have to pay this when we stayed 1 month prior. He copied both of our drivers license and took our payment for the room. My wife was not feeling well so I asked for a room downstairs but he told us they were all booked even though we were there very early and saw housekeeping leave several rooms that were clearly not occupied. The shower is disgusting. Not all the rooms are the same. Majority of the rooms downstairs have been remodeled and look like the pictures on this website but our room did not look anything like the pictures on the site. Very misleading.
Room looked like it should cost twice as much. Price was good. Close to I-10. Outside looked run down. Odd requirement to put cash deposit with check card (not needed for credit card).
Convenient to my meetings the next day. The images of the hotel on the website were far nicer than anything I saw in my one night stay. There was a dog in the next room that had been left alone and barked for a couple of hours until the resident came back to the room. There was no iron in the room. I had to call down to the desk and it took three phone calls to finally get one sent to my room. The continental breakfast shown on the website was a complete fabrication. The real breakfast was a coffee urn and a few pastries wrapped in plastic.
