Points positifs : I had a long term rental (2 months) booked and confirmed. Then I was told they had no cars available of my class and that I should pay for a higher class, meaning a whole lot more money. On top of that the insurance was almost as much as the total cost of what I had payed in my reservation. So how does that work? I pay an amount that I think it is roughly my rental car cost and it turns out it is half of it because of the insurance? Why dont you communicate this in advance? I was so upset that I walked away without a car. And guess what, they did not care at all.

The incompetence of their staff, their lack of knowledge, how deceitful their charging practices are (yes, they are additional charges that will not be disclosed until you are actually in the store), their customer service department (oh my God...these are the worst people I've ever talked to on the phone), how understaffed these locations are, etc.

Points négatifs : Hertz is a horrible company. I booked and paid for the rental through Kayak, also paid for car rental insurance. When i arrived to pick up vehicle, they asked for my id. and credit card i used to book rental (i provide those items) i was told that they would charge an addition $200.00 to my credit card just in case things happens like an accident or something. i told them i had all ready purchased car rental insurance. I was told we don't accept third party renal insurance. five days after canceling rental i still don't have the email (after calling twice) showing that i canceled the car rental.
Computers make bad decisions
Points positifs : Good car, good price, convenient
Points négatifs : Tried to add 2 days to rental. I had the vehicle for 4 days. I wanted 6. Hertz wanted to triple total price for 2 more days. No one on call lines or local rep could override. Had to return, re-rent, wait. .. And in the end, still paid a higher price, but closer. Crazy, bureaucratic, customer unfriendly, employee demoralizing policy.
Points positifs : Loved the fast check in and check out with the representative at Hertz.

Points positifs : Hertz always treat me right. I always enjoy the cars i get. Also its fast & accurate getting me into a car. Enterprise takes forever & they are a rip off

L'incompétence de leur personnel, leur manque de connaissance, la tromperie de leurs pratiques de charge sont (oui, ce sont des frais supplémentaires qui ne seront pas divulgués tant que vous n'êtes pas réellement dans le magasin), leur service à la clientèle (oh mon Dieu... ce sont les pires personnes que j'ai jamais parlé au téléphone), le nombre de sous-effectifs de ces sites, etc
