Has a laundry mechines. I have been staying with Mystays hotels since I've been in Japan the last month. However this particular hotel has failed miserably. The whole duration I stayed here I kept the do not disturb sign on the door as usual, this morning before I left I made the bed myself and cleaned the room and turned the lights off then left. How ever when I returned this evening I came back to a room with all of my bedding ripped of my bed and the pillow cases of my pillows and all sitting in a chair as if they left my room in the middle of cleaning it. I specifically said for no one to disturb my room. I am disgusted by the staff that they chose to enter the room when I stated I didn't want any one in and the fact they dissassembled my bed and didn't have the courtesy to fix it. This is my worst experience I have had with any hotel in my entire life. I feel as if my money was stolen from me, being charged the night fee just to have this happen. Completely unacceptable.
Free shuttle service from train station to hotel Error in reservation rate
The personnel were very helpful and also went out of their way to make everything right. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the junior suites are quite large by Japanese hotel standards, and well appointed. Efficient A/C with room controls is welcomed in the Japanese humid summers, and included breakfast is varied and high quality along with the serving staff. I ONLY have two slight negatives. One is that the location isn't ideal for those using public transport. If one is hauling a couple suitcases, it's probably too far from the main train station to walk, and riding the subway one stop goes a bit too far and requires a few blocks walk back--the closest exit from the closest subway station is the farthest from the platform and requires climbing the stairs. The second slight negative is the price, it's a little high but then if you appreciate the service, cleanliness and size of the rooms, it's not bad.
We booked this hotel with almost no research due to a change in travel plans. We were completely satisfied with the stay and would recommend it. The room was very comfortable - one of the biggest we had during our 3 week trip in Japan. We didn't have much contact with any staff members but the ones we did talk with were very pleasant. The location is excellent for transportation, shopping and entertainment. The hotel is accessible by subway but we sure you know which exit to use from the Sakae station as it is huge! A taxi from the station was 1600 in a rainy rush hour and it was the best money we spent in Nagoya! We did make our way back to the station by subway once we had our bearings. We purchased the breakfast one of the mornings we were there. The breakfast room is in the basement and is a little dark for my taste. The buffet was a mostly Japanese affair but there are some western choices (bread, eggs, little boxes of cereal) for those wanting a change from the rice/miso/fish breakfast.
Venerable hotel in Tokyo's Akasaka district. Beautiful setting. Convenient location. Many amenities. Very clean and well equipped room. The hallway carpets are looking pretty shabby though. The twin beds were really uncomfortable, about like a futon on the floor.
This beautiful and modern hotel is right next to the JR station in Kanayama, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel occupies the top floors of a very tall building giving the rooms great views of Nagoya. Our room was very spacious, even by western standards, and all amenities were top notch. The breakfast buffet is excellent. It is the nicest hotel I have stayed at in Japan, and would definitely return there.
