Points positifs: From our arrival to departure everything was perfect (during both stays) and we couldn't have asked for more. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and we'd rate their facilities 11 out of 10.
Points négatifs: It couldn't have been better - it was absolutely excellent, in fact, the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Thank you so much to our hosts for going out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable.

Points positifs: Delicious breakfast. Lovely room. Extremely clean. Lovely little touches such as the biscuits and chocolates! Also the use of a fridge was very useful. Lovely hosts who were very helpful and got up early to make our breakfast so that we could leave in time to get to Silverstone. They gave us good directions across country to get to the race track easily. Great pub next door with good food. We will be back.

Points positifs: I was more than pleasantly surprised after some not so happy experiences at other hotels etc. in the Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell area. Absolutely spotless, friendly staff and very quiet. Food was equally tasty, wanted a pub meal and that is what I got, quick service and good food. Will definitely do again.

Points positifs: Friendly welcome, and a cosy atmosphere. Great location in the country but only 10 minutes from my work in MK. I'd love to come back when evenings are a but lighter. Good breakfast served in a relaxed setting. Service and facilities could show some of the fancy chain hotels a thing or two. Overall a refreshing overnight and a great antidote to two days on a business Park.
Points négatifs: My room was comfortable and pleasant, with everything I needed. Some of the decor could have done with a refresh, and the sound proofing could be improved, but these were minor issues.

Points positifs: Comfortable beds and bedding, clean & tidy room and an iron board etc where very helpful. Friendly staff on reception, however handover needs to be quicker and not done at the main time that people are booking in as the queue was nearly out the door. The staff stayed calm and got through everybody as quickly as they could.
Points négatifs: The only down side was the breakfast, the restaurant was under staffed which meant that the tables where not cleared for the next people. The food was good, but silly little things like the sauces and juices were empty. The staff on were great and doing their best but just looked untidy.

Points négatifs: Arrivés tard le 23 dec, il n'y avait pas de chauffage dans la chambre, signalé le 25 au matin à la réception, toujours pas de chauffage dans la chambre le 26 en quittant la chambre. Le ménage n'ayant pas été fait pendant 3 jours, nous avons été obligés de réclamer du papier toilette. La porte de la douche ne se fermant pas correctement, un courant venait vous rafraichir ...

Points positifs: The main building is very attractively decorated and has some great facilities. The breakfast selection was excellent so we would recommend pre-booking this. The standard rooms are quite compact in size but have everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The room was warm and the bed was comfy!

Points négatifs: Impossible de régler le chauffage dans la chambre : radiateurs coupés en journée, chaleur étouffante le soir et la nuit. Mais surtout, aucune culture du service chez le personnel masculin de la réception (ce n'est pas le cas des dames), à la limite du désagréable. Aucune aide proposée pour porter les valises, toute demande reçue comme un dérangement. A tel point que sur la fin du séjour, nous n'avons pas même osé signaler que la chasse d'eau fonctionnait très mal, par crainte d'être importuns. Vraiment pas la qualité de service attendue d'un établissement du groupe Accor

The hotel had not left room in the restaurant for us. Ten minutes later we were told.we could eat there after all whenever we liked. But when we arrived we were told they were fully booked. Eventually we had to accept being seated in the bar. The bar had run out.of.tonic water and both the first two bottles of.wine we tried.to.order from the short wine list were not available.
On checkout although it was the same.member of staff as the night before he had clearly forgotten what had happened the night before. No apology was offered and to.make.thinhs worse he tried to charge us for the dinner we had prepaid for as part of the booking

Points négatifs: The room was quite compact for a twin room, but it was described as small. The toilet and cistern were quite wobbly. Unfortunately, I didn't check beforehand on what time breakfast was served on a Sunday, which was at 8:00 am. As we were going to Silverstone which has large queues from 8:00 am it wasn't convenient to stay for breakfast. This was the case for all the other guests staying who were staying who also going to Silverstone and also missed having their breakfast. It was disappointing that the landlord didn't offer to move breakfast to an earlier time to suit all the guests and would possibly have generated more business in the future.

Le Best Western Moore Place Hotel est un charmant hôtel manoir près de Milton Keynes. L'hôtel se situe au cœur du joli village d'Aspley Guise. C'est l'endroit parfait pour être au calme dans une atmosphère paisible. Il n’est situé qu’à 10 minutes à peine du centre-ville (et de ses magasins et commodités), et à seulement 1,5 km de la sortie 13 de l’autoroute M1.Ce charmant manoir géorgien classé niveau II est vraiment une destination merveilleuse pour passer du bon temps. Nous disposons d'un superbe patio avec un jardin de rocaille et une chute d'eau, abritant une famille de canards au printemps et en été. Le cadre élégant fait de cet hôtel de Milton Keynes un lieu populaire pour les mariages. La cour représente un magnifique décor pour vos photos de mariage.Un certain nombre d'attractions familiales restent facilement accessibles depuis cet hôtel de Milton Keynes : le Woburn Safari Park et le Gulliver's Theme Park se trouvent à seulement 3 kilomètres. Xscape se trouve également non loin de l’hôtel, dans le centre-ville, et offre à ses clients la possibilité de vivre de nouvelles expériences : snowboard, ski, escalade, luge et chute libre par exemple. Points positifs: Good location for our visit to Woburn Sands. Staff responded to our disappointing breakfast . A good nights sleep and temperature was easy to control and comfortable.
Points négatifs: Shower was grubby and didn’t drain . Arrived for breakfast, no hot food left and people waiting. Hot food arrived in drive and drabs. No sausage or black pudding but reception took this off our bill.

Points négatifs: The staff at the reception didnt greet me or say me anything for a while (longer than 5 mins) when I got there to check in standing right in front of him and no other customers were there. One of the glasses was dirty, assuming it was used by the previous customer and never replaced at room cleaning. When I came back to the hotel at around 1:30am, the reception area smelled weed (guessing some people were smoking it outside of the hotel).

Points positifs: The restaurant was nice and the food was good. The breakfast was fantastic.
Points négatifs: Shared bathroom. Someone had a bath and was using the bathroom for over an hour and a half. Other than that, there were dogs barking and people arguing all night in the car park - we notified staff and nothing was done. Hardly slept at all. As it is a pet friendly hotel staff should be more vigilant of housing guests with pets. Their emergency number is pointless if you use it and nothing happens.

Points positifs: Très jolie auberge du 17ème siècle. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec salle demain commune et avons été surclassé dans une grande chambre avec salle de bain. Le gérant nous a également proposé spontanément de ranger notre tandem dans un local sécurisé pour la nuit. Le village de Woburn est un très joli petit village et il a également un excellent pub pas loin de l'hôtel ou on mange très bien ainsi qu'une brasserie pour prendre le petit-déjeuner. Très belle étape de notre voyage!

Points négatifs: The facilities were awful but if I select just that as a negative it will still give a rating of 4.5 so I chose the sad face for a few things! This was not a 4.5. Firstly, I was not expecting a shared bathroom as this was not advertised. it was advertised as a standard room. I would call a bathroom fairly standard. the walls were paper thin and I could hear the person next door as if there was no wall. It was not unclean and I have never complained but this was embarrassingly bad for £60. We considered moving but just went out for dinner instead.
