Points positifs: Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur mer, lobby moderne, boissons et serviettes d’accueil, serviettes de piscine et salle de bain moelleuses et parfumées, jardin bien entretenu avec hamacs, restaurant varié, employés très aimables, au restaurant: Eliton, Rogerio et Val, réception : Julia e Kelly qui nous ont donné des bons conseils pour les plages, restaurants et Juliana pour son efficacité sans oublier l’animation avec Diogo (cours de step très bon) et Altran (aquagym) très amusant
Points négatifs: Peinture mur de chambre du 3ème étage un peu esquintée, l’équipe de réception nous a gentiment changé de chambre à notre demande mais nous étions contraints à changer de chambre située au 6eme étage à nouveau car problème de serrure..Dommage spa en travaux, salle de gym petite car provisoire , un équipement ne marchait pas, de toute manière très propre avec des serviettes et fruits fraîches

Pas de mobilier sur la terrasse Pas de chaises longue en nombre suffisant à la piscine en pleine période creuse !

Points négatifs: Tout près de la plage, mais il y a une centaine de marches à parcourir, et, durant ce court trajet, ainsi que sur ce bout de la plage, on est souvent abordés par des individus dont les motifs ne sont pas très clairs. Sans danger, semble-t-il, sauf peut-être au milieu de la nuit.

Points positifs: The main plus, was the location of the apartment and it’s balcony looking at the ocean close by, so close to hear the waves crushing on the beach. An amazing view, probably the best honestly in Ponta Negra. Manager Morricio and his staff members were just so available, hospitable, helpful and friendly!
Points négatifs: The apartment needed some fixing on arrival, in particular to close properly the glass sliding doors and fixing the TV. Morricio responded very quickly to fix those problems. The furniture is not very new, in particular the couch was completely brocken, and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen was nice but The overall pots and pans, cutlery, overall ustensiles are well below what anyone would expect from such a high end apartment. The cabinet doors in the bedrooms are in need to be repainted.

Points positifs: The room was very comfortable and the hotel is in general very nice. The staff was always kind and helpful. Cleanliness was very good. Thermal insulation of rooms seemed very good, as we rarely needed to power up the air conditioning, which by the way was working well. The hotel looked very safe.
Points négatifs: I am surprised by the reviews that say the hotel is in a good location. Perhaps for who comes by car. If you don't have a car the position is not convenient. It is far from the beach and there are no many shops or restaurants around. The only place where you can have lunch or dinner by walking is a nearby pizzaria. I came for an event in UFRN and it is quite close, but you still have to use a taxi (or Uber) because there is not a convenient walking path. Considering that, you don't save much time comparing to staying in Ponta Negra.

Points positifs: Close to the main area of Ponta Negra but just far enough away to be more quiet and tranquil. Breakfast and dinner was excellent and the pool area was superb.
Points négatifs: There were not many long lounge chairs. We were able to secure them when went to the pool, but during a busy season there probably wouldn’t be enough so go to the pool area early if that’s important to you.

Pour une simple otite (bien que douloureuse), un des membres du personnel a passé sa soirée avec moi, en m'emmenant dans tous les hôpitaux de Natal, et ce de bon coeur. Super hotel

Points positifs: The location of the hotel is fantastic and there's a beautiful view of the beach. The outdoor area has two pools, one hot and one cold, and both very large. There are also comfortable couches and sitting areas outside making it the perfect place to relax. There was a lot for breakfast and the stock changed regularly.
Points négatifs: The check in was a little confusing. When we entered the room we were followed by staff with an agreement to sign, saying we agree to not bring any external food items inside the hotel, and listed the various costs of things. The room didn't have any information book or anything so we didn't know when breakfast ended, what the number was for reception, whether there was room service or what was on offer. Our card for the room kept randomly not working. The staff were nice but it felt somewhat understaffed at times. We were sitting by the pool bar and one staff member was moving constantly between there, the restaurant, and going up the elevator to rooms. It felt like there needed to be a team, so it took like 15 or 20 minutes for us to get two drinks. While the hotel itself and the staff are great, I think the business would benefit from better policies and management to make work easier for staff and the facilities more inviting for guests.

Points positifs: I have stayed in this hotel on various occasions over the last 6 years, and have always been very satisfied in all respects. The staff very amenable, the feeling of being in a small hotel , well run, personal attention etc. The ocean directly in front of the hotel, a small pool area, but with a lovely outdoor bar/restaurant, all help to make the stay enjoyable. Food has always been very good, and service too. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Points négatifs: The service is not commensurate with the price at all. This is one of the most expensive hotels in Natal—they belong to a hotel group called “Roteiros de Charme” (Charming Itineraries), but the service is mediocre at best and not to the level of a hotel that touts itself as a boutique hotel. The room’s door is posted with a list of 18 rules that guests must follow; the receptionist presented us with a form taking responsibility for beach towels, even though we hadn’t decided if we’d even go to the beach or the pool—he insisted that I sign the form even though it was blank. I booked an Ocean View room for my wife’s birthday, but the view from my veranda looked at the hotel across the street (if you stretch your neck, you can see part of the ocean from the room). The internet was incredibly slow; while they advertise that all the rooms have satellite TV, ours didn’t work (we were told that it was a provider problem, but why wasn’t it noticed before the room was rented?). They do not provide shower caps in the bathroom; the coffee maker in our room didn’t work. Parking is terrible—they have 4 parking spots. During the night, I was bit by some insect and had an allergic reaction. My wife tried calling the front desk, but nobody answered. We had to go down and ask if there was a 24-hour pharmacy nearby; the reception indicated a pharmacy, but on the way there, I found one that was closer (thank goodness). Despite all this, my wife didn’t let this ruin her birthday, but this was not the experience I wanted to give her. Won’t be coming back to stay here.

Cette dernière ne correspondait pas au terme de luxe. Café mis à disposition mais payant dans la chambre, ok mais il faut le préciser.

Points positifs: Delicious breakfest and great location, near a bunch of restaurants. Clean towels and sheets. There is some kitchenware to use on the flat. Parking is inside the building and the staff is super polite.
Points négatifs: The only thing I didn't like was some spots on sanitary ware (ceramics) and hair on the sink when I arrived, causing clogging. There was also a lipstick stain on one of the glasses on the fridge.

The room was also quite small for a family of 4 people, I'd rather take 2 rooms instead as they all look the same size. Finally, staff was very friendly, but they weren't knowledgeable about tours, beaches and cities to visit. A simple training on the topic would make guests much more welcome :)

Points positifs: La chambre « Suite Grand Master » était super spacieuse avec une terrasse encore plus grande ! Le jacuzzi à l’extérieur et cette superbe vue sur le morro do careca ont fait du bien à ma famille ! Le petit déjeuner super varié était très bon en terrasse comme à l’intérieur. Vraiment je recommande !

Points positifs: Lucy et son mari sont absolument adorables, leur accueil était très chaleureux, on s'est tout de suite senti comme à la maison. Lucy nous a donné de précieux conseils et suggestions. De plus, l'emplacement était vraiment idéal, en face de la plage de Ponta Negra!

Points positifs: EVERYTHING!! Lucy and Osvaldo are the best, very attentive, friendly. Just amazing people. Location is perfect - close to everything, the beach is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and items to order if you want. The hotel is small, which is great IMO. Room was spacious, comfy bed. Will be back!

Points négatifs: I have been to this hotel on many occasions, however this last visit has been a complete disappointment for a 5 star rated hotel. RECEPTION Check in Experience was absolutely horrific. KLEBER the receptionist who attended to my check in had no notion of customer service. He showed no empathy or friendliness. It felt like he as doing me a favour just checking me in. I have never experienced this before at this hotel. Other members on the reception desk know how to treat guests which can be expected for a luxury hotel. ROOM SERVICE I ordered a three course meal for two. After one hour I rang the restaurant to find out what had happened to my order. The member of staff told me that it was being plated up and would be with shortly. After waiting for another hour I called the restaurant and finally the meal was being delivered to my room. The following night I just ordered a bucket of ice, and that took an hour to get to my room. MANAGEMENT Having all these shortfalls and being a 5 star hotel I was obliged to inform a senior member of staff. As I was explaining the problems which had occurred during my stay at the hotel, the manageress became very defensive and she was not listening to what I had to say. She mention that an event was taking place on the two nights I had used room service hence the delay. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE for a 5 star hotel. Again she showed no empathy or understanding. Points positifs: The hotel was just great. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variations, the staff was super friendly and everything was just clean. The location of the hotel is just awesome, it‘s 5 minutes of walking to the beach and there are really a lot of awesome restaurants just around the corner, so you never need taxi or uber to go out. If we come back to Natal, we will book here again for sure.

Points positifs: Une très grande chambre vue mer avec un immense lit super confortable, douche gigantesque et le tout avec le confort d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Petit déjeuner au dessus de la moyenne, emplacement connu (juste à côté du Best Western) mais un rapport qualité prix absolument imbattable avec une promo de dernière minute à moins de R$200,00 la nuit. C'est assez rare pour cette catégorie d'hôtel ce qui fait que le rapport qualité/prix est tout simplement excellent. Sans doute les notes n'auraient pas été les mêmes avec un prix aux alentours de R$300,00 qui doit être (j'imagine) le prix standard de cet hôtel.
Points négatifs: Seul point noir : un bruit intermittent de pompe (à priori une pompe à eau) toutes les 4-5 minutes qui était vraiment extrêmement gênant. Par miracle cela ne m'a pas empêché de dormir mais j'aurais demandé à changer de chambre si j'avais du y rester une nuit de plus.

Points positifs: Very good location, close to main tourism points from Ponta Negra Beach. The hotel offers amazing view from the beach and “Morro do Careca”. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. I guess, the apartment needed a glass cleaning because it was dirty outside but it is just a detail. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Points négatifs: Basically, the hotel is showing its age. It claims to be a 4/5 star facility, but it's hardly a 3 in our opinion. The rooms need to be refurbished and cleaned up. It's time for better beds adn bedding, the bathrooms need lots of work. Same for the hotel facilities in general like the restaurants and bars. We were there during the World Cup 2014 for the US game so paid premium for our stay. But had it not being for the game and the fact that hotel rooms were hard to come by, I would not have stayed there for the price.

Points positifs: We had a terrible first night at praiamar hotel. The day after we moved to Praiamar Express where most things worked pretty well, except for the breakfast after 9:00 am. No coffee available for instance. On the other hand, the room was clean, no mold like Praiamar bathhrom where there was mold everywhere. The shower was cold. The mattress was old and had a bump in the middle. Praiamar EXPRESS has wonderful staff and is clean an quiet.
Points négatifs: praiamar hotel didn’t work at all. Dirty, broken and full of mold, dirty and old towels.
