Hotel Best Cap Salou

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was nice, a short bus journey from Salou itself so it was that little bit quieter. The Cap Salou area has a few small bars and restaurants which are nice for relaxing drinks and a bit of karaoke! The beach was lovely and so close to the hotel, small but it never felt overcrowded (we visited in September however) It was beautiful though and clean. The pool was a nice size and we always had room to lie out. There was a spa area with jacuzzi, steam room, sauna etc The charge for entering this was €5 which was reasonable. The staff were friendly and spoke english. We also liked the food, buffet style with a good variety. Rooms were basic but had all you'd want and were cleaned daily.

We stayed on a half board basis, it was good that we had the choice of dining at lunch time or evening. Although juices, tea and coffee were included with the breakfast you had to pay for any drinks with the later meal. Also the air conditioning in our room turned on but wasn't very effective. That may have just been in our room though. The walk to the bus stop from the hotel involves quite a steep hill. While we managed it ok I know if my parents were with us they would have found it a little bit exhausting!
