So, had to pack up all our baby stuff, grab our gate checked car seat and stroller, go to another gate, and board again. After taxiing for about 40 min, we finally took off (when we should have been landing). Definitely prepped bottles and diaper bag for a one hour flight and had an antsy baby by the time we landed. Totally understand that mechanical issues come up and am glad we were safe, but would have been much appreciated if we didn't have to board, deplane, and then board again."

First my flight from Oakland was delayed an hour, and while they did rebook me a flight (with a 3-hour layover in Seattle), they couldn't keep me in a first-class seat and didn't offer anything to compensate for that. This was my first time (and probably last time) treating myself to a first-class flight, and I was kind of looking forward to that seat...although I understand if flights are full.. When I arrived (an hour late) in Seattle, the gate was shown as N2, about ten thousand miles away from my debarking gate in the C section. After walking halfway there, I stopped at an Alaska desk to AGAIN verify info and ask if someone could PLEASE CHECK and see if I could keep my first-class seating, since I PAID for one originally and the delay was airline-based. They blandly told me the flights were full and everyone had checked in already, and then mentioned that the gate had been changed BACK to C section, so hike back another 5000 miles to where I started. Wait three hours. I did check in at the gate as well, yet again, to beg with my best smiley-face and see if the girls could find me a first class spot or put me on standby, since I PAID for it. They said, sadly, no it's all full and checked in. Wait and wait. When I finally did board, I noticed that the info board said that "two upgrade requests" had been filled. What? Seriously? Is that MY FIRST CLASS SEAT YOU JUST GAVE SOMEONE? *frowns slightly* Walked through the already-seated first-class cabin, noticing that TWO OF THEM are empty. I was seated in the middle between a regular dude and this woman who is apparently running her company and having a conference call loudly on her phone, right in my ear. So yes, we understand: She's important. After sitting for a few minutes, I finally buzzed an attendant, who finally arrived, and asked her AGAIN, if she could please check if there any first class seats open, because that is what I PAID FOR and I'd appreciate finishing my trip as it was origanally booked. She said she'd check. AND THEN DISAPPEARED FOREVER. Never did see her again. A few minutes later, yet another attendant walked down the aisle with a clipboard, checking for open seats and I'm thinking she's coming to tell me that yes, there's been an opening and one of those 2 empty seats is mine and please go ahead and move. But no. She walks on by and says something about adding more standby people to some empty seats. I'm literally biting my tongue. Then, before I can say anything, these TWO GUYS come flailing down the gangway and bail into the two lovely EMPTY first-class seats in front of me. *scowl* I'm sorry, but unless they were late getting to the plane, and those were actually their seats (could be true), this whole thing was handled very strangely. I never fly first class anyway, and I understand delays and full flights, but it would have been nice to have anyone even attempt to help me finish my trip in the class that I had PAID FOR."

Points négatifs : "Flight was delayed from GEG -> PDX Before departure, the pilot announced that the flight would be "very bumpy" and so they weren't going to have drink service at all and the flight attendants would stay seated for the duration of the flight. This made me very nervous for the whole flight. However, it was hardly bumpy at all. I arrived tired from getting all worked up over nothing. On the way back to Spokane, the pilot announced before departure that the takeoff and landing would be bumpy, but once we got up to altitude it would be smooth. The reality was totally the opposite. During takeoff it was quite smooth, but then there was so much turbulence at cruising altitude that the pilot came on to say they were cancelling the beverage service halfway through for safety reasons. And then it smoothed out before landing. I thought it was a bad experience on both counts. Why even bother making a prediction about flight conditions if they are so changeable? It only sets people's expectations and then they are disappointed or unsettled."

"Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance."

The in-flight entertainment screen was not responsive so it was stuck on one movie the entire flight. This experience was very much unlike any other Delta experience."

"Airport experience is exhausting. Extremely long lines for check-in and then even longer lines at TSA. Hand sanitizer stations are almost all empty and in the mens room, people are crowding together to get soap from one dispenser that has just a bit left... flight was no better than Southwest Airlines, and it took over an hour for the bags to start coming out. Delta bag claim attendant just said, "I don't know what's going on with them, just wait a bit longer"."

"As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between."

Points positifs : "We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible."
Points négatifs : "Delta should not have made the dumb decision to take the Seattle-bound plane and use it as a substitute for the malfunctioning Cincinnati plane. Delta should have provided accommodations for the stranded travelers once they arrived in Seattle."

Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."

THERE WAS NO ONE GIVING PROPER INSTRUCTIONS FOR DROPPING BAGS OFF, PEOPLE WERE EVERYWHERE IN EVERY KIND OF MADE LINE!!! ALMOST 30 - 40 MINUTES OF WASTED TIME, THIS AND THE SLOWEST TSA PROCESS CAUSED MANY TO PROBABLY MISS THEIR FLIGHTS, INCLUDING ME (THANKFULLY MY FLIGHT WOUND UP BEING 3HS DELAYED - THAT'S NEXT). DELTA SHOULD INFORM TRAVELERS ABOUT TIMES WITH THEIR BAG DROP AND TSA!!! 3HRS TO GET A SMALL PART THAT ONLY TAKES 2 MINUTES TO FIX, I'M VERY GRATEFUL IT WAS FOUND WHILE ON THE GROUND, BUT AFTER 1 AND HALS HOURS COULDN'T WE HAVE JUST CHANGED PLANES!?!?! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOME AFTER 10A, WASN'T UNTIL ALMOST 2P.."

Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

This was a surprise to me this part of the journey. Will think twice before booking again."

I waited 1.5hrs after takeoff before I called staff for a drink. Over 2hrs before they officially started serving main cabin drinks and snacks. There was some turbulence but they could have served people by hand without the cart. They had no problem serving first class before, during and after takeoff."
