Also for business class passengers they don't get into a priority lane as you see in Emirates and other airlines. while Singapore airline is very good, they still lack in the details."

We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."
Points négatifs : "The crew lacked its usual pep and cheer. For some reason they seemed very introverted and tired. First time on Singapore Airline that I noticed. The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Après notre acceptation, en dernière minute, nous avons finalement embarqué sur ETIHAD. Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. I wonder where she got her information because what she shared with me was totally false and I am totally appaled. very old on flight - dress warm!"

Our boarding passes would not print at our departure location and I wasn’t able to check in online for it because it kept linking to the American Airlines website for checkin. We tried to print our boarding passes at the kiosks but it said we needed to seek assistance. We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."

Points négatifs : "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Points négatifs : "They have a fare that does not charge for Regular Bags....we booked it unknown toy us assuming we each could take a regular bag for no charge....well we have ended up paying an extra 400+ pounds for our bags to go each way to Paris and it has ruined our first time to Paris. The fare online was foreign to us and deceitful being from the US in every way. No one could even work with us or was willing to make a decision but everyone seemed to agree while still charging. No more British Airways Deceipt!"
