La climatisation n'était pas en bon état. Bruyant et pas très cool. Couloir peint auraient besoin d'être rénovées. Mur shavings of sur le tapis pour plusieurs jours.
Sur la plage, très belle piscine, délicieux petit déjeuner buffet.
La chambre était mal éclairée.

Dirty, but great location
The resort is on a beautiful piece if beach and should get accolades for it's location. I would recommend eating breakfast across the street at Picasso's and lunch down the beach at the Tiki Bar. Outside of the resort, we didn't find a bad restaurant.
We were surprised to see trash all over the beach at Accr: cups, straws, tissue paper, bottle caps. No one working at the resort seemed to notice or care, even when I began picking up the trash around our beach chair. Outdoor dining was another surprise because the birds would flock to recently emptied tables and eat the food. They would also stick their beaks in the sugar and creamer. Again, no one at the resort took notice, changed the place matts or used soap to clean the tables after the birds had walked over them.
It was an OKAY stay, but likely won't go back!
The hotel was for the most part kept clean (room, lobby area, pool) and MOST of the inside staff were very helpful with any suggestions regarding offsite dining and/or sites to see. Clearly SOME of these staff genuinely care about their customers and understand that good service equates to return business.
Now for the less than satisfactory staff, specifically the pool/beach area bartenders!! On multiple occasions I found them to be rude, apathetic, condescending, and in one instance antagonistic!! I not only experienced this myself, but witnessed others that had to !! They all need a refresher course on Customer Service,or fire them!! The hotel itself is really starting to show its age. Though the cleaning staff try to do their best to keep it clean, there are areas/rooms that should be completely renovated (old/damaged furniture, things not working, etc). There are also exterior parts of the hotel that have sustained some storm damage that have not been repaired. Never book a room that is on the road side of the hotel....the traffic noise finishes late and starts early!! Nuff said! Though the beach is beautiful (or could be), I found that the garbage (mostly left by uncaring hotel guests) is everywhere, and the hotel should be looking into increasing staff time spent attending to it.
Overcrowded hotel that saw its better days
Nice location. There is a boardwalk starting at the north end of hotel's beach and going along the shore for about a mile. Very nice for a leisurely stroll in the evening.
The hotel is way overcrowded and they are running beyond the capacity. We arrived way past the check in time, but the rooms were not ready and the reception area was overflowing with people waiting for their rooms. We had to wait for more than an hour before we got ours. The room itself was not very comfortable. Looks like the hotel is pretty old with the patchwork of repairs through the years. Also, we got a room next to the ice machine and it constant humming didn't add to the experience. Despite being on the third floor the room didn't have even a small balcony.
The hotel was quite aged. The room the put me in seemed very old. The ac was not working properly and it had a view of the dirt lot next door. When I checked my reservation I realized I'd actually paid for a room with a balcony and this did not have one so I called down to the front desk, they did not seem happy about this call but when someone came back they said they had a room for me. So they put me in a smaller room on the first floor, facing the street, but it did have a working ac and a balcony. Just not what I was expecting for the rate I paid! Everything seemed old, worn down and dingy.
We truly enjoyed the Accra Hotel. The location is great! We were steps away from the boardwalk. There are stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Transportation was 100 steps away. This hotel is very convenient. The housekeeping staff was very efficient. The grounds were well kept. It was truly a good experience. The beach was perfect
We didn't care that much for the food and it was a little pricey.
Hotel was just OK, Location is excellent
The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in Barbados and there is beach-side food and drink service for guests. We loved hanging out at the swim-up bar in the afternoons and the bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable. The front desk staff was very helpful with coordinating taxis and tours.
The hotel itself is a little run down/outdated. The lounge chairs by the pool are mildewed, the paint at the swim-up bar is chipped/peeling, and the tiles throughout are a bit dated. Also my friend Cari used the spa one day for a facial and said it was good/fair, but she had an entire second day of massage, manicure and pedicure that was cancelled on her without notice. She had asked to just re-schedule the massage for another time/day and instead all of the services were cancelled. When she tried to re-book them, she was told there was no one there to do the services. Not sure if the spa techs are just on call or what? The spa seems to be disorganized and poorly run. Also $70 US for 2 people to eat at the buffet seemed high for the quality.
The location was perfect as a over night stay after our cruise.the front desk was on top of things, right down to making sure we had a taxi at 5:00AM to take us to he airport.
