Points négatifs : Cofusing pricing of insurance led to me paying more than expected. All charges should be clear on internet order and not left tilll pick up when it is too late to go to a cheaper option

Points négatifs : The site. By ordering you can not find the extra cost. You hear it when you collect the car. Hou reserved a small car and get a bigger one. Instead of 1 : 20 you get a car who drives 1 : 12.

Points négatifs : They didn’t honor my online reservation and asked for more money and didn’t honor my credit card insurance coverage. They also lied to me about pricing and helping me resolve the problems and ended charging me double what it should have cost!!!
Points positifs : I will never make a reservation with Sixt again. My reservation was for Friday at 12 noon. I arrived at 12:03 pm and the door was locked, no one inside and the lights off. The hours were written on the door and they close at 12 on fridays but I had a kayak reservation and no way to know that.
Points négatifs : On the door there is a phone number to call in case of emergency. I tried three times and there was no answer. I ended up renting through Avis down the street. I paid much more than my initial reservation but at least they were open and had a car available immediately.

Points positifs : Despite many sixt neg reviews, we did not have any problem except for extra fees. There is a small print when booking about other fees could be added. That's exactly what they did with us with both rentals companies. It doesn't make any sense to shop by price. It has nothing to do with reality.
Points négatifs : Price of rental should reflect all data that was entered about the trip. For example if you enter airport as final destination, price should reflect that, rather than later charged on top of calculated price. If you entered you will need only one insurance, cost should reflect that too. etc

Points négatifs : Didn't like that there was wrong information on how long my 1000$ deposit will be freezed. The employees said it will be 2-3 days, but it was 15 days. When I wrote to the company - directly and througth sixt.com, there was no reply!!! They just ignored me. very unprofessional.
