I went with my 24yr old son. We enjoyed the natural beauty of Casa de Campo but I think we missed a little bit of night life. Unless you went to La Marina (after 11:00 pm everybody starts leaving) or Altos de Chavon(the discoteque starts after 11 pm there was no other place to hear music (at least for younger people. Other than that I enjoyed the trails for my jogging, the beautiful beaches and the neat golf car that the hotel provides. I wished to have stayed longer as to enjoy other activities that the hotel offer. I was mostly visiting a friends house which is in Casa de Campo, so hopefully I will visit Casa de Campo again, though maybe I will stay in one of the villas which are so beautiful.. I do think that the hotel needs a little face lift. My fiirst stay at the hotel was twenty years ago and it shows that the years have gone by.
Did not honor our all-inclusive package and online service refused to honor its guarantee.
The Italian village is a must see. Staff were friendly. Rooms were dated and needed more cleaning and polishing. Some incidental charges were added to our account for restaurants we didn't even been to. It was an honest mistake and management fixed it.
Loved everything. We got the all inclusive and food was outstanding, nothing like regular all inclusives. We like it so much we went back and rented a villa w maid and buttler
got there thinking it was an 'ALL-INCLUSIVE' resort booked for 1 week and upon our arrival we ended up paying another $* for the 'All-Inclusive' package bc we were on a European Plan [EP] be cautious when booking with this resort ---- for people with money to burn LITERALLY!!!!!!!! The kinds that light up their cigars with $*bills and people who own mansions with golden toilets!!! front desk customer service were money hungry lions oh and not to mention that YELLOW faucet water was DISGUSTING I was afraid to brush my teeth in case I caught Salmonella or an Ameba!!! and BTW do not plan on having fun during your stay it mostly caters to the older population so if you are not soon to retire do not consider this place and even worse is the DANGER outside the resort lots of crime and poverty it is GHETTO FABULOUS! disappointed customer :I
Casa de Campo is a golfer's haven, but if you are a nongolfer, it has much to offer, too. The service is excellent, the food is good and the horseback riding is fantastic. This is a huge property with restaurant options where shuttles must be taken to some. Golf carts are supplied for getting around, but not suitable for night time. The beach is about a 10 minute ride from the main resort area. I would have liked it within walking distance of the main area. Nevertheless, this is a top notch resort!
Personnel du restaurant et annimation tres bien. L'endroit est bien vu qu'il est proche de la plage. Le personnel de la réception n'est pas tres acceuillant. Ils vous font attendre de longues minutes avant de vous répondre et souvent ne sont pas tres arrengeant. Manque de compétence.
Cadre et jardins splendides. Belle plage et piscine spectaculaire. Les chambres sont grandes, bien aménagées. Service rapide et courtois. La nourriture est immangeable et m'a donné la diarrhée et à ma femme aussi. La plage est magnifique, mais l'eau est trouble, donc vous ne pouvez pas voir votre main à quelques centimètres au-dessous de la surface.
arrive le jour de ma reservation j ai attendu plus d une heure dans la rue devant la barriere dois-je vous dire qu il etait entre 22h15 et 22h30 j attendue pour que l ont me dise qu il n y avait pas de reservation en mon nom, Furieux ils accepterent enfin de me laisser rentrer parceque avant que je me rendis au dominicus palce je visitai le dominicus beach par erreur donc fort de tout cela le responsable de dominucus beach demanda une main levee afin de passer la nuit et de regler le probleme le landemain .Je penses que vous me devez des explications sur les sites qui vous representes et vendent vos services sur le internet.
Don't know We didn't like receiving a call on our way to the resort and being told that there was a mistake and that there were no rooms available because they were sold out. This was on our way to the place so we had to head back home. This after my card had been charged and the booking confirmed, now I have to wait up to a week to receive my refund. This is totally unacceptable in my book.
