Very friendly staff, place clean and tidy, good size swimming pool, beautifull surroundings, small beach just across the street Some window/door locks to the balcony need tightening, an exterior white repaint on some areas would make it more attractive for the first look
The location of the hotel was good enough. Only 5 min from the city of Argostoli by car. That was the only good thing I have to say. First of all, the first floor of the hotel had a weird smell.. Luckily enough, the room itself wasn't smelly at all. The room did not have a fridge which is quite inexcusable to be honest, especially during the middle of the summer. The hotel rooms (and the hotel itself) were old, the beds were too small to fit. The breakfast wasn't too bad but don't expect anything special. To sum up the hotel was way overpriced for what it offered. I would definitely select to go to different hotel next time.
Petani Bay Hotel is absolutely a great place to stay! It is located at the end of a cliff so the views are spectacular. We stayed in the biggest apartement, which was immaculately clean and well kept. So was the rest of the complex. The staff was very friendly and offered to help where they could. We spend our week at Petani Bay Hotel with trips to nice towns like Fiskardo and Assos, doing nothing by the pool, etc and we loved it!
Everything. This hotel is in a stunning and, most importantly, quiet and off the tourist track location. It is small and the staff is very friendly. We had a wonderful two days here on our tour around Kefalonia and Zakynthos.
We liked everything - the quite location that gives you all the privacy you want, the stunning view over Petani bay, the lovely sensets we enjoyed. The thing that is outstanding for the hotel is the great management (great job Voula! ), friendly staff and the personal touch you feel. Great place to be. We even extended our stay, something we haven't done before.
The only thing that was worth of the price paid (200 Eur a night) was the view of the sunsets and of the sea. Incredibly romantic. lack of personnel (only one person), beds awfully soft, below-par breakfasts, slow service in "restaurant" and I could go on for longer...basically at that price it is a rip-off !
Nice location, Great view over the bay of Petani, very helpful staff, theu try to give you a feeling of coming home. Strong management and always fun when asking the owner to dance the sirtaki (recommandation)Certainly a place to return for spending a very relaxed holiday. None
