Points négatifs : The prices were ridiculous, the van was dirty, kept warning it needed an oil change, reaked of CIGARETTES and was almost unbearable to drive from Winston-Salem to Charlotte with my mother in law in kids so we could get to the airport all together! Never again will I rent from y’all AND I will be contacting corporate office about my experience as well.
Points positifs : The customer service line was fine and was able to answer my questions, however my requirements for rental were not clearly pointed out. I reserved a car for the next day but the pick up location I was referred to was an airport which wouldn't allow me to rent with a debit card without a flight reservation. Just too much red tape. Went to Avis and rented a car within 30 minutes.
Points négatifs : Just went to Avis from the start; which is what I'll be doing in the future.

Points négatifs : Rent a wreck cars came to mind car appearance was best up scratched up ran loud door runner falling off and radio shot. They did not have much to choose from. Over price and surprise extra charge at counter People were nice but product thumbs down.

No car available with reservation
Points positifs : The clerk at pick-up called and arranged a car at a different location, but only after I insisted.
Points négatifs : When I arrived at the airport at 1:30pm (driven by a friend), a nice, but very frustrated gentleman informed me that there were no cars available at this location, even though I had reservation for 2pm. I thought it was because I was early, but he told me there were 2 people in line in front of me and 1, also with a reservation, had been waiting since 12:00pm. The clerk called other locations and found out it would be 245-300pm before a car would be available, "possibly." He called the main location and I was driven by my friend to the other location in town to pick up my car. Apparently they were changing the oil in multiple cars and had no one to drive them to the appropriate locations. The car was cleaned but seats were stained. The windshield was dirty and there was no windshield washer fluid in the tank. So after driving through fog, I had to stop to clean the windshield because I couldn't see well. Rental 1-way was double the price of returning to the same location.

Why is it called a reservation?
Points positifs : The car was clean and fine once we received it, and was larger than expected.
Points négatifs : What is the point in making a reservation if the reservation does not actually reserve you a car? When I showed up to collect the car, the desk agent informed me that there wasn't actually a car there for us. That's not really a reservation, is it? Thank God it wasn't absolutely critical to have the car ready that minute for something like a wedding or a funeral. Also, we do not use credit cards. We do not own credit cards, but we have a bank card through visa. We were told that this was in adequate to use to pay for the car by the desk agent. The car rental was a gift for the person who was going to be driving it, and we had to end up asking her to use her credit card to pay for the car rental which we had intended to get for her. It was deeply embarrassing.
If you make a reservation don't expect them to honor it

Points négatifs : We went to pick up our confirmed paid rental the location was closed, called customer service their solution was to cancel the reservation and have us drive an hour away to the air port to pick up a car and the best part was they wanted to charge us over $100 more than our original reservation. Absolutely horrible company that has no idea what customer service is, if your company makes a mistake and books a reservation for a closed location you fix it not try to make it as hard as you can and double the fee.
