The view from our hut was amazing. It rained the whole time during our stay, which sucked, but it was still a beautiful location.
You can't flush toilet paper, because of the plumbing. Their customer service is questionable - their network was down during our check-out and we still had expenses to pay. Since their network was down, our credit card could not be run, so they said we need to go the port, take money out of the ATM and pay them that way. We would've been charged a 5% fee for withdrawals, if not more so I told them that and that I refuse to pay that way. The front desk lady said they get charged 3% for processing credit cards, which isn't and should never be the guests problem. I suggested she take my credit card number and keep it for later until power was restored, but I think she did not understand me or didn't trust that I wouldn't cancel the card or something. Regardless, we negotiated the exchange rate with them so we could pay cash (they wanted to exchange $1USD = 31 Baht, but we got them to do $1USD = 34 Baht) We traveled to other locations in Thailand and the customer service was lacking pretty much everywhere.
