Points négatifs : We had all of our luggage in the vehicle, had done the inspection etc. we went to get in and it smelled of cigarette smoke. I cannot tolerate that smell. They were very good about giving us a different vehicle, but my husband is 72 years old and I gave a broken wrist, so unpacking and repacking was a big deal.
Points positifs : No they hide fees until after I already paid and returned the car. Those guys are thief, I should have call the police.
Points négatifs : Be honest and upfront about cost/fees.

Points négatifs : Car was dirty inside. Crumbs on the driver’s seat. Heating now working properly. Older vehicle type and did not have Iphone plug. That was unexpected and created a problem for us.
Points négatifs : I paid Kayak for a RAV4 or similar vehicle but was informed by Advantage Rental that it was not available and I was not informed that I would have to pay a 50% upgrade charge to get another vehicle. My VISA billing did not reflect this until after I returned from my trip. Talk about BAIT AND SWITCH. Is Kayak in on this con? What is particularly grating is that I asked twice at both the airport counter and the garage counter what the total charge was!!!!! I was repeatedly lied to.
Points positifs : Easy drop off
Points négatifs : The car reeked of marijuana. At first it wasn't very noticeable due to being covered up by some sort of air freshener or cologne. However that wore off after about an hour. It was very nauseating.
Points positifs : Check in person was very friendly. The guy who checks you in when you get your car, did not care. Vehicle was very dirty. He did not do the cleaning not his problem.
Points négatifs : The registration on the vehicle was missing. New plates, no stickers or paperwork. Got a ticket and almost had the vehicle towed. They seem not to care all the problems this caused. Missed my child's rehearsal dinner, dealing with police.
Points négatifs : I rejected the rental. They took a very long time to process customers. When I reached the counter, found out why. They try excessively to over sell to the point of annoying. Then they insisted I give them a $200 deposit. I rejected the rental and went to my old standby a Budget. No problems there!
Points négatifs : All went well.
Points négatifs : The first car I had was absolutely filthy. I had to exchange the car the next day as one of the tires was low and the exchange was relatively simple. When I went to drop the new car off there were NO employees present. After waiting a few minutes I left the keys in the car and walked to the shuttle. I’m not picky about rental car agencies but will never book with Advantage again.
Points positifs : Shuttle to and from and the airport was prompt.
Points négatifs : Car smelled like cigarettes. John at the Advantage rental desk in Las Vegas was very rude to me during my pick up on Nov 26, 10pm. He acted annoyed at every single thing I said or did, which was mostly answering his yes or no questions. He was really condescending. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
Points positifs : Front desk at pickup was passive aggressive and almost disrespectful. Poor customer service. I will not use advantage rental car again. It’s the cheapest for a reason.
Points négatifs : Better front desk service. Just be nice.
Points négatifs : Make sure they are clean on the outside as well.
