Points négatifs : Dropping off at Bellingham Airport was frustrating and strange. No one told me there would be no one there to drop the car off to. I arrived at the airport and followed the signs to rental car return which led past a parking lot poorly marked and with no attendant. No signs told me what to do with the car. No signs at the airport indicated a car rental office of any kind. Call local Budget office, no answer. Called national Budget office. They could not find any record I had rented a car from them even though I drove it from Seattle to Bellingham, and I gave them all my numbers from the rental contract. After more than ten minutes with the national office they finally found some instructions for me to drop off the key and contract at the Budget booth by baggage claim. Went to where the first sign for baggage claim was and all the doors were locked. Walked further along and found a second sign for baggage claim, found the Budget booth. No one there, sign said go to Avis. Went to Avis booth. No one there. Sign on box said write down mileage date time and space number where I parked the car. Returned to parking lot to get mileage and space number. Walked back to Avis booth hidden in baggage claim, dropped off the keys and contract in box. To top it off some people had put their contracts in the key slot instead of the contract slot so the key slot was so full of contracts I had to jam the keys in several times to get them to go down the slot. A little forewarning and or better signage would have been nice.
