Points négatifs : Well, it is COVID, so I understand that maybe there are fewer people to work, etc. But I did have to wait over 20 minutes (with my mask on in the heat of the garage part of the airport) for a representative to get me started on the pickup process. Turns out there were only 2-3 employees working that afternoon who were doing everything. Once one of the employees shared this information with me, I was not too frustrated.
Points positifs : Nothing
Points négatifs : I went to bring vehicle back and location was closed
Points négatifs : The location didn't have my car and when one was available 2 hours later, it went to a customer that had already been waiting. To accommodate us the management said the best they could do was give us a complimentary tank of gas. We ofcourse rented from another company at this point.
Points négatifs : There car I reserved wasn’t available because a customer before me took it upon himself to take the car and lie to the gate attendant stating that he was told he could switch cars. It was a busy weekend, so we were stuck for a week in a vehicle that was too small.
Points négatifs : The worker was extremely rude at the pick up and did not honor my purchase through a third party and tried charging me much more. I went through a different rental service. Very disappointed.
Points positifs : the wait was too long & I was expecting a bigger 7 passenger truck
Points négatifs : Did not recognize gold status from ‘3rd party vendor’.
Points positifs : Staff were very friendly and helpful, the car was good, good price
Points négatifs : Kayak sent me to the wrong pickup address!! Apparently the Hertz office was "supposed to" have moved to that office a month ago, but the move hasn't happened yet. So like maybe don't change the address you're sending customers to untiil you're actually SURE the office really has moved??! As it was I had to take another Uber trip, thus wasting $12 and going even further away from the city center... so it actually would have been cheaper overall to choose a car with a slightly higher base rate but a closer and better-organized pick-up. Was NOT happy about that at all.
Points négatifs : I felt the staff didnt want to work with us because we had a seperate name for the Pickup/driver than we did for the credit card holder and we had to pay extra for the pickup driver to be able to drive. We ask to switch cards they said they would have to cancel and charge us a new rate
If i had a choice in cars than i wasnt informed of that. you get told a nice car when you reserve but it ends up being the cheapest competitor car
Points négatifs : Very slow service picking up car and dropping off. Car was not ready, when I got it not full on gas and not what was expected and looked like it was hosed off 2 minutes before so wet. They did confirm me the day before for a 7 seater SUV, but a manager said I got a 5 seater only. Was on time schedule and did not argue. Will never use them again.
Points positifs : The staffs at Memphis Covington Pike location are a bunch of slackers, they don’t take care of customers in a timely manner. They just take their time with one customer, be a slacker and don’t worry about the rest of the customers.
Points négatifs : not going through a third party, hertz answering the phone at locations, better info about closing times
