Car rental was at 12 but place was CLOSED!!!
Points positifs : Facility was closed when I arrived
Points négatifs : I don’t understand why rental was at noon when facility was closed. I had to pay 200 extra to change locations. It was a huge disappointment and hassle. I’m extremely dissatisfied.
Fast pickup and drop-off
Points positifs : Smooth operations at both the Sunnyvale (pickup) and SJC (dropoff) locations.

In the end they compensated us
Points positifs : Once everything went horribly wrong they upgraded us and gave us money off next visit. The location tried to do right by us and typically we have wonderful experiences there. This was an isolated case but the review asks us about our last visit which was pretty bad.
Points négatifs : Car smelled heavily of marijuana. No other location had a swap out to help us when we called. Then we got a flat tire. Spare tire was also flat. They told us to go to the nearest airport and they would swap it out. Nearest airport said they had nothing. Then 2 hours away the next airport that originally said they had nothing offered us an upgraded car as compensation. Wish they had offered it originally.

Points négatifs : The shop was already closed at the booking time, and we could not get the card. Very unfortunate.
Hertz airport service
Points positifs : Service at the hertz airport branch was appallingly terrible. Horrible customer service.
Hertz didn't give me a car
Points positifs : I made the reservation months ago and Hertz called me a few minutes before I was supposed to pick up the car that there's no car for me. The explanation was that there was a system glitch and all cars were rented. I asked if there's any cars available in a different location and the manager said there's none in other location either. He did not provide me any alternative and I didn't get the car that I've reserved months ago. I ended up going online to rent a car from a different company. Interestingly I saw cars available at the location that I asked the Hertz manager. I was livid about this experience because it was the holiday and the manager didn't try to accommodate me with another car at a different location. I promise I will file a formal complaint to Hertz corporate office, Better Business Bureau, Yelp and any car review site about Hertz practice. If there's a choice I would give Hertz negative 5 stars.

Points positifs : Car was clean, inside and out
Points négatifs : Welcome : I had to wait at pick up and quite an unusually long time at drop off. Employees are far from being warm and friendly ( very unusual in California) did just the bare minimum.
Points positifs : Car was great.ran great, good gas milage.
Points négatifs : Wait to pick up and drop off. No ride home. I walked home, several miles.

Points négatifs : Je ne comprends pas pourquoi la location était à midi quand l'établissement était fermé. J'ai dû payer 200 supplémentaires pour changer d'emplacement. C'était une énorme déception et des tracas. Je suis extrêmement insatisfait.
