tv anglaises uniquement
The amiability and courtesy of the reception staff in particular and restaurant staff in general rien
The staff and food at the Bar was very good (see note below) about the Restaurant. Evening Food at the Restaurant was appalling. It's a shame that there is no lounge area overlooking the sea.
The swimming pool The milk allocation for the in room tea / coffee was a bit stingey.
Helpfulness of staff.Comfortable beds and exellent food. Limited tv channels.
Courteous staff and a lovely room. Very clean and the bed was really comfy. Was not able to use the phone in the room without a credit card (I wanted to pay cash).
Staff very helpful. Extremely good location. Room not ready despite arriving after the check in time
Very comfortable well designed, stylish room.
Excellent room with views over the marina. Particularly liked the terraced area overlooking the beach. Service in the restaurant could be improved.
Location was easy to find. Hotel reception staff were excellent, especially as they had no notice of my booking
Efficiency, restaurant staff charming Food offering pedestrian
all in all the hotel staff were helpful Yes i paid for this hotel for a friend to stay in who came down from London she checked in very late, when she eventually, unpacked i meet her or a drink to go over the following days proceedings in court, I left to my home and received a call telling me that she had went to use the bath room and found a condom floating in the toilet, Due to the late hour she wished not to cause any problems.I apologised to her and said i will take this up as soon as i can. I am sure this is an oversight but still very embarrassing for me as i had paid and booked this hotel for a friend who was down to give me support and evidence while my court case was on going. Regards Mr Scott

position and parking
The attention to detail was faultless , the staff were very friendly, the location was excellent and there were no external disturbances There was nothing to fault
They provided a cotbed and a highchair free of charge and had it all ready for us when we arrived and at breakfast times
Nice location on the Mumbles. Affordable prices. Bedroom and bathroom were small. No lounge for reading the paper, waiting for fellow guests etc.
The warmth of the welcome, the fact that the house had been restored to its Edwardian origins with painstaking detail .... and the fact that it was Dylan Thomas's birthplace and family home. The proprietor had left lots of excellent information and books to bring Dylan Thomas 'back to life'. The 'hotel' was really good. The only reservation I have is the pricing policy. We paid £300 for 3 nights for the entire 4 bedroomed house, yet there was also a charge per person if we exceeded 2 adults. This is very confusing! I think the charge should either be based on rental of the property, or price per person - not both!
It was very homey None
Dylan Thomas House is a work of art and you will never forget your stay. As soon as you cross the threshold you step back into Edwardian times and every room is truly fascinating. It is still a very comfortable hotel but also a truly different and memorable experience.
It was a wonderful experience of days gone by. The children thought it was fantastic as it was like a museum without the barriers!
The room offered great space and comfort for the price and easily catered for our 5 person family the fire doors caused some health and safety issues for our 3 and 5 year old
Good accommodation Very understaffed. Service at breakfast was very poor although the food was fine when it eventually arrived.
Friendly staff, giving local relevant and personal advice on places to eat and buy surf gear.
The bath was lovely and location was good - near to Mumbles and Caswell bay The Tv was difficult to control - decor of the room dated - top of kettle dirty and the room could have been dusted - there was a wedding party on the night of our stay who were very loud until about 1.00 am so we had limited sleep - their rubbish - broken glass bottles, fag butts, empty cans were all around the entrance in the morning when we went in for breakfast. The breakfast service however had to be the worst experience as the staff were slow to seat us - there was mess everywhere from previous guests and the staff seemed unaware of the need for speed, a chap in particular would take one dirty thing out at a time or go to the kitchen empty handed where he could have multitask - we asked for coffee but then had to wait for milk, there was a few juice varieties to choose but no clean glasses - no fresh coffee on offer. The cooked breakfast was nice although the order incomplete. Other guests were also unhappy having to wait for toast and then giving up - general attitude of staff serving was not good. I think the management should take these comments on board to improve this service regardless of wether the hotel had many guess to stay - more staff who had adequate training should have been on duty to cope with the demand.
The staff were very helpful, understanding and flexible (I ordered 2 courses at dinner but then changed my mind and just had starter as was not feeling very well - staff were very nice about it, no problem, and only charged us a very small amount for the starter). They also gave us good advice about nice things to do during our stay in the Mumbles. I think our room was maybe near the kitchen, but a very loud humming noise kept starting and stopping all evening up until almost midnight, not possible to sleep through it.
