Alfamar Beach & Sport Resort

I loved the hotel, it's a little bit on the older side but kept in good condition. The location was easy for me to find and get to by car, which had free parking in their large front lot. The location to the beach was great, a short walk down a ramp to the beach. Nice pool settings, very clean and well kept. The pool bar was close and had everything I needed. All of the hotel staff that I connected to were fantastic, very helpful and spoke excellent English. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, lots of selections, that was so nice to have. I had a ocean view which was nice to wake to sunrises and over looking the pool. I enjoyed the many trails that run parallel to the beach, you can walk these trails for quite a ways even into the town of Quarteira, if you're energetic.

There was not much I didn't like, I gave it a 3 out of 4 for comfort because the heater in the room didn't seem to put out much heat, there were a few nights I could have used more heat. There were 2 single beds in my room bridged together, I traveled alone so I could use any bed, one was harder, not as comfortable so I switched to the other bed which was better, it felt like a newer mattress.

Close to the beach and good breakfast.

Poor signs for the pool and jacuzzi areas.
