She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip."

I love security but some of these lines served no recognizable purpose. In Boston a guy is being paid to collect electronic copies of the passports. We had to wait in line to hand this guy papers he did. It review, or do anything with. Why did the customs guy not take that paperwork, eliminating a line and paying some guy to collect passport photos????"

Points négatifs : "The crew did not know the law about child safety seats. They tried to inform us we could not use it, even though it is approved for air travel. Then they tried to tell us we had to face it forward, which is illegal and it cannot be secured like this. Then they told us the car seat needed to be against the fuselage, but that all the fuselage seats were taken. They did not offer a solution to this problem. I informed them this was TAP's fault for assigning those seats to us. They said they were not responsible, which is clearly wrong. They could have reassigned us at check-in and avoided the problem. They were very concerned about the ability of the person in front of us to recline their seat, but no interested at all in the safety of our baby. They told us we would not be able to use the seat, although our baby was already asleep. They were trying to find a way to make us leave the plane. Finally, some other passengers volunteered to move so we could sit against the fuselage with nobody in the seats in front of us, so we would not block them from reclining. A solution would not have been found by the crew. Only thanks to generous passengers were we able to stay on the plane, even though we were doing everything completely legally. They made my pregnant wife feel so bad that she cried for the first hour of the flight. Then, as the flight was concluding, our baby got airsick and vomited. They crew did nothing to help aside from bring 3 (!) napkins and then leave again. Incredibly unhelpful, mean, ignorant, and combative cabin crew. Truly appalling."

I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"

Calling them didn't help as the call center has no ability to change anything on your booking. At the kiosk they charged us double to check our bags because that's just how that works, even though their website ate our credit card information and didn't give us an ability to pay for luggage before check in online. The whole experience has made me decide to never use them ever again."

Points négatifs : "We were a family of 4 traveling to Paris from Barcelona and had minimal luggage, yet the attendant singled us out and made us pay 60 Euro per bag to stow our carry-on bags. We had small book bags/purses and I tried to explain that they were our purses. She wouldn't listen. Our luggage was taken, we paid 60 Euro for 3 pieces to be stowed. Once we got on the plane, there were at least 14 people that boarded with a small roller carryon (like ours) and a backpack purse or small backpack. There was also plenty of room in the overhead bins as the flight was not full. In addition, one of our carry-on bags was torn apart by the time we arrived in Paris---the wheels were broken off and it would no longer roll. I am not sure why we were singled out when others had the same or much bigger luggage on the plane. Disappointed."

Beware!!! -They have a 20 kg or 44 lb weight limit instead of 50 and will charge you an additional 60 euro per bag of over 44 lbs! -Print your own boarding passes, they charge 20 euro per passenger if they have to print it at check in. -There are fees all over the place, it is a SCAM!"

We entered the correct date, but somehow we still received flights for 5 days after the date we needed. We tried to change them at the airport, and after being sent to 2 different ticket counters, we ended up paying an additional $420 to get the flights we needed. Therefore, each flight from Athens to Mykonos was over $400 each. It was ridiculous and I will NEVER fly this airline again."

However Volotea emailed us 24 hours prior to tell us some information had changed and we had new boarding passes. We downloaded the app and the crew just scanned the app boarding passes. It was a huge relief."

We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."

We had been checked in, but hadn't printed the boarding passes. They told us that they had just closed the opportunity to do this for free at the airport & we now had to pay the exorbitant fee or no boarding passes and no getting on the plane. No other way around it. It just felt like yet another ridiculous excuse to suck more money out of passengers. Just like the banks...a fee here, a free there will add to the profit bottom line without providing any additional value for the customer. Buyer beware!"

Ridiculous.y small measurement boxes for carry on luggage which would not hold standard carry on bags. This dispute the plane having full sized overhead bins that easily accommodated the bags. Forced us to pay $60 a bag under the pretext that the bags would have to be ch caked. But they didn't, we just carried them on and there was plenty of room. They were rude and unreasonable and let lots of people through without the charges after they simply removed items from their bags and carried them a few feet before putting them back. It was just a shake down."

Communication around boarding was non existent. We waiting in a awkward line blocking the entrance to to the terminal this everyone had to push through our line to get to their fate. Once on the plane, I was in the emergency exit row which I understand comes with some extra rules and responsibility however on Volotea that means no headphones, no baggage under the chair in front of you, they even made me take my baseball cap off and put it in the overhead. Landing was rough too. Overall aweful experience."
