Restrictions d'entrée
L’Indonésie a restreint l’entrée de tous les voyageurs qui ne sont pas des ressortissants indonésiens, titulaires de permis de séjour temporaire (ITAS) et de permis de séjour permanent (ITAP), voyageurs avec un visa délivré après le 31 mars 2020, membres d’équipage de compagnies aériennes, diplomates, travailleurs humanitaires et étrangers travaillant sur des projets nationaux stratégiques.
Du 23 décembre au 8 janvier, l'Indonésie a suspendu les vols en provenance du Royaume-Uni.
Exigences d'entrée
Les voyageurs entrant dans le pays en provenance d'un pays européen ou d'Australie doivent présenter un certificat médical délivré dans les 48 heures avant l'arrivée indiquant un résultat négatif au test COVID-19 PCR.
Tous les voyageurs arrivant d'autres pays que ceux mentionnés plus haut doivent passer un examen médical à leur arrivée. Ils doivent également présenter un certificat médical délivré dans les 72 heures avant l'arrivée, indiquant un résultat négatif au test COVID-19 PCR, ou être testés pour le COVID-19 à l'arrivée.
Les voyageurs doivent également remplir et soumettre un certificat d'alerte sanitaire au bureau de quarantaine sanitaire et fournir une déclaration personnelle indiquant qu'ils sont prêts à être mis en quarantaine jusqu'à 14 jours si nécessaire.
Exigences spécifiques de quarantaine
Les voyageurs devront subir un autre test sur écouvillon COVID-19 à leur arrivée, puis se mettre en quarantaine à leurs propres frais dans un hôtel désigné pendant une période de 5 jours. Après 5 jours, ils entreprendront un deuxième test PCR et si celui-ci est négatif, ils seront autorisés à poursuivre leur voyage.

Il n’existe pas de vol direct pour rejoindre l’une des plus belles îles indonésiennes. Vous rejoindrez donc l’aéroport international de Denpasar, situé au sud de l’île, après au moins une escale (à Kuala Lumpur, Singapour, ou encore Bangkok, pour les plus courantes).
En tant que ressortissant français, votre passeport doit être valable plus de six mois après la date prévue de retour. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

Points négatifs : "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."
