Points négatifs : Had a flat and called roadside assistance. Stayed on hold while we changed the tire, found and drove to a tire repair shop, and had the tire repaired and put back on. At least 40 minutes on hold. Since we figured out and fixed everything on our own, we hung up. Never got any assistance. What would have happened if we had had a more complex problem? Does not inspire confidence.
Points négatifs : HERTZ DID NOW TELL US THAT WE NEEDED TO DROP OFF THE VEHICLE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION THEN WHERE WE PICKED IT UP AND SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGE US AN ADDITIONAL FEE, WHICH WE NOW NEED TO BE TAKE OFF THE BILL . OTHER THAN THAT , A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Points négatifs : To-do car in okay condition. Very expensive and that's without all the extra insurance they push. They really try to scare you into it.

Points négatifs : They didn't have a car available for us. Said they tried to contact us, then said they never had our contact info, which I can see they did on our confirmation form. We had to buy a last second flight instead, costing us $600 . The lady we talked to was extremely rude the whole time and had no sympathy. When I tried to explain our disappointment she hung up on me!! Absolutely disgusting. I'll never book with Hertz again and you shouldn't either of you don't want all your travel plans ruined.
Points positifs : Staff was very friendly and attentive. Pick-up and drop off were quick and simple. The car was great - a mid-range Hyundai.
Points négatifs : The car interior was not entirely clean. A "Check brake light" alert appeared on the dashboard display intermittently. Telephone support, both non-emergency and emergency, was appalling. After several attempts I never got through to report the dashboard alert.
Points positifs : The car was exactly what was advertised, very safe and brand new. There were no hidden fees and dropping off and picking up was very simple.
Points négatifs : The interior of the car hadn’t been cleaned, so there were sticky places and the wiper fluid was completely empty which was irritating.

Points négatifs : It was super convenient and reasonably priced. I selected the least expensive economy car. The car was in great shape, but it was no match for the poor condition of the roads in NM! Would have been just fine for in town only.....should have taken the advice of the counter staff and up graded.
Points positifs : The location was convenient. We really liked the car and it was a free upgrade.
Points négatifs : We bought a prepaid reservation online. We had to pay over $100 extra for my husband to be added to drive. In almost all of my car rental experience a spouse is added for free. I wish this had been made more clear with the online reservation! We may have made another renting choice.
Points négatifs : The customer service people in the Santa Fe office we dealt with (on Cerillos) were uniformly horrible. They turned us off to Hertz forever. No flexibility, ridiculous demands, simply unable to do basic things for their customers. The folks at the ABQ dropoff, on the other hand, were splendid.
