Présentation de Ethiopian Air

Ethiopian Airlines est la compagnie nationale éthiopienne. Elle propose aux voyageurs 20 destinations en Éthiopie, ainsi que 50 destinations au départ de l’Éthiopie vers le reste de l’Afrique, s’inscrivant ainsi comme compagnie panafricaine de référence. Au niveau du trafic aérien international, les voyageurs ont le choix entre 30 autres destinations en Europe, en Asie, en Amérique du Nord et du Sud.

La compagnie propose deux types de cabines : Cloud Nine et Économique. Tous les passagers peuvent librement déposer deux bagages en soute, d’un poids respectif de 32 kg maximum pour les voyageurs Cloud Nine, et de 23 kg pour les voyageurs Économique. Tous les passagers sont également autorisés à transporter un bagage à main de 7 kg maximum. Les passagers Cloud Nine peuvent transporter un bagage à main supplémentaire.

À bord, tous les voyageurs pourront savourer une cuisine d’origine éthiopienne. Au sol, Ethiopian Airlines invite les voyageurs Cloud Nine à se joindre à la "cérémonie traditionnelle du café". Un moment authentique autour d’un café original de région, assis sur des sièges bas traditionnels éthiopiens.

La compagnie aérienne s’inscrit comme l’une des meilleures flottes d’Afrique avec 116 appareils, essentiellement des Boeing B737, B787 et B777. Elle dispose aussi de 12 Airbus A350-900, et de 23 Bombardier Q400.

Le premier vol d’Ethiopian Airlines s’est effectué vers Le Caire en 1946. La compagnie a su depuis se développer et grandir jusqu’à devenir membre de la Star Alliance en 2011. En 2018, All Africa Business Leaders l'a récompensée par le titre de Meilleure Compagnie de l’Année.
