This was the worst experience!! No where does it say when renting you must have $500 on a credit card! Because I didn’t I had to pay an additional $517 for their insurance which means they were paid 2xs for insurance!! Of course I was told there was no Supervisor available!! At the counter there were 4 of us being ambushed, but of course I had my family I had to take this rental Very disappointed and spent money that was not a part of my budget!Avis laissé le 7 août 2023

Rip off! If you don't have "enough insurance" they charge you more than double your daily rate. Then tack on fees for tolls. And their deposits are dependant upon whatever they feel like that day. The lady next to me had to pay a thousand dollar deposit! Horrible experience. We ended up paying almost 4 times our original price. Shuttle bus did not have sufficient capacity, left people stranded. Check in process was lengthy (2hrs from arrival). Weird processing on verification of insurance- non standard from rest of car rental industry. Car was not clean on inside. Multiple times required photos of Personable identifiable information (non standard). Employees did not have a valid explanation for their process. Return took too long as well. Nothing like showing up expecting to pay $300 for a car as it stated in your confirmation email only to show up and they say you also have to PAY $1000 to pick up the car. Nothing stated about this AT ALL before pickup. Even rechecked all emails we got from NextCar. Also added Fees for EVERYTHING. We waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport and take us to the rental car place. We ended up having to pay a cab driver to take us to the rental car place. I didn’t realize I needed to bring the declarations page from my auto insurance company in order to decline the rental car insurance. Hidden fees from the overall price to the overall cost from very reasonable to more-expensive-than-hertz. Husband couldn't pick up our rental because it was in my name (I was unavailable for pickup) so they canceled our reservation and could *only* make a new one with a larger/more expensive vehicle. If I would have known this would happen, I would have just gotten a rental from a company right *at* the airport and not needed to worry about taking one additional shuttle to and from the airport.Avis laissé le 1 févr. 2023
