Points négatifs : Rude customer service and long waiting lines
Points positifs : Staff was pleasant, and helpful. They were later great in helping me find a new car after the first one they offered was not what I wanted.
Points négatifs : Drop off was confusing. There are multiple car agencies dropping off at the same tine. The (AVIS) attendant was inattentive/ rude and got my email address wrong. He was on the phone with a friend the whole time and barely responded to me when I went back and told him that I had not received an email with the closeout and I had to later call Payless to have them send me the actual bill and closeout.
Points positifs : Pick up was terrible. Payless Denver location has been combined with Budget and Avis. Line was out the door and took over an hour to get through.
After that, all was good. Car was clean, drop off was great.

Points négatifs : The check in process was a bit frustrating but the vehicle was perfect and clean. The drop off process was handled with ease.
Points négatifs : Lines were long and moved very slowly. Cars were not ready for most customers so had to sit and wait for your car after standing in the long line.
Points positifs : The staff member’s attitude and borderline rudeness was unbecoming a customer service operation.$

Points positifs : Staff was not friendly and seemed like they were rushing everyone through. I did not like anything about my experience.
Points négatifs : Customer service, cleanliness, organization. We ended up getting stuck in a Ford Fiesta even though we paid for a bigger car. Terrible customer service.

Points négatifs : We flew from Phoenix to Denver and rented an SUV from Payless. Unfortunately my husband and became quite ill several days later. We decided we needed to get home, but didn’t want to fly and expose others in case we had contracted COVID. So we decided to drive the rental car home to Phoenix. We called and got approval from Payless. When we returned the vehicle, they charged us an additional $615 plus the full $700 for the week’s rental even though we return it early. I guess that’s what you get from Payless for trying to do the socially responsible thing!
Points positifs : Everything was smooth, there was a line to get the car but was moving, the car was clean, drop off was great - no complaints at all! Thanks!
