Points négatifs : The car was extremely dirty. It seemed as if it was not washed or cleaned for the past couple rentals. The car was damaged in various areas. The car should be decommissioned until it gets fixed.

Points positifs : The customer service reps for the pick-up and return locations were very kind and helpful.
Points négatifs : Payless allowed me to reserve a car but didn't tell me that their shuttle wasn't working. I waited for 30 minutes before attempting to get a new car rental with Avis and noticed the sign regarding Payless customers speaking with Avis reps for car rental info. Then they didn't have the car I wanted and I had to drive a Jeep Wrangler in a storm. I will not rent from Payless again.
Points positifs : Staff was friendly and helpful
Points négatifs : Car wash not washed or vacuumed prior to my pick up. It had bird poop on hood, windshield, and other places.
Points positifs : The person at the Washington Street pick up location was very nice and helpful. We also really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the shuttle driver.
Points négatifs : We were traveling as a family of four with a young child, an infant, and lots of gear. They sent us to pick up the car at a location far from the airport, but when we got there, the staff couldn’t understand why we had been sent there and told us we should have gotten the car at the airport.
Points positifs : Pick up was a mess...got the car a little early and they charged us an entire extra day...after we called to make sure that wasnt the case before we picked it up. And. We even dropped it back off early too.
Points négatifs : Arrived at 10pm. No one at desk. Drag our luggage to garage. Guy out there says go back to Payless desk. No one there. Finally a stranger tells us Payless is a subsidiary of Avis- no one at Avis desk. Then find out it is alao A subsidiary of Dollar so they eventually helped us- took an hour !
Points négatifs : The woman at the counter told me I could not rent the car because her computer told her I had a rental that was still open with Budget. I called Budet they said no I didn’t, they spoke with her but to no avail, so I was unable to rent. The entire experience was terrible.
Decent for price
Points positifs : Great value for the price paid. It was less to rent a car than take an Uber ! Shuttle service to the airport was quick and easy
Points négatifs : Long wait time in the building to check in and out. Need more reps.
The didn't actually have a car available
Points positifs : Nothing
Points négatifs : I made an online reservation only to show up and be told they didn't have any car available for me. They just said that very matter-of-factly and didn't care or try to assist me. Not much more than, "There's no car for you, go back out the door you came in."
Points positifs : Car was okay
Points négatifs : Took too long for the agent to help me. She was very rude and told the customer before me that a car with some warning lights on was okay to drive.
