Points positifs: Our hosts were very hospitable and accommodating to all our needs. My father 79 years old and I had just finished the Camiño Santiago de Compostela. His feet blistered. Our hosts helped us take care of him medically and insured that all our needs were taken care of. I can gladly recommend these friendly people anytime. Thank you for everything!!

Points positifs: Having freshly made coffee available was a huge bonus. Otherwise, the hotel was fine and clean, maybe just a little far from the center, but a nice walk regardless.

Points négatifs: This is difficult and I've been avoiding writing this review, but there is clearly a serious problem with the younger male staff member. Unfortunately, I heard him yelling at another staff member, who also happened to be his father, in a violent and aggressive manner that was incredibly disturbing - not the least reason being that apparently what set him off was my asking for a restaurant recommendation and him disagreeing with his father's advice. Honestly, separate from one another, they were both very nice and helpful. But together, the tension was enormous and it was extremely uncomfortable for me after I was witness to that exchange. I sincerely hope that young man is working on his anger issues and temper. Had he worked anywhere else, yelled at any other staff person in that way, I imagine he would not have a job. He is lucky; I really hope he realizes that and controls himself in the future and shows everyone respect, especially is father. It was scary.

Points positifs: Excellent position just 26 minutes to the old city Center , just 8 minutes to walk from the bus station. really easy to find, nice place, clean big room, comfortable, and super nice reception. I recommend to any people need a good place to stay in Santiago away from the city Center

Points positifs: Wonderful place to stay before the last little bit of the Camino into Santiago. Very cozy-- sat in front of the fireplace before supper. Nice supper.

Points positifs: I treated myself to an overnight stay at this hotel after spending a week walking the Camino so I only had 10 kilometres to walk to Santiago Cathedral the next day. Wow what a great decision that was, it really is just a ten minute walk off the Camino but totally worth it. The host Alfronso is a wonderful man who could not have been more helpful or welcoming. I had total total joy at seeing my room complete with a jacuzzi bath for my aching legs and massive comfortable bed, and the hotel and grounds are just beautiful. I had dinner at the hotel at the hotel which was delicious and a great nights sleep. This is a beautiful hotel for Camino walkers, anyone needing a hotel near the airport (although zero airport noise) or as a base with a car to drive to the many lovely places to visit in the area at a very reasonable price

Points positifs: The place is amazing! It”s like a Relais Chateou for a fraction of the price. And the owner is so kind and generous. He picked me up in the Camino and even sent to me in Santiago de Compostela earrings that I have forgotten there. Wonderful food and beautiful place

Points positifs: Hôtel dans un ancien édifice rénové. Très bel accueil. Très confortable. Très propre et accueillant. Souper appétissant. Pour ma part cet établissement est à recommander à tout le monde. Pour ceux comme moi qui marche le Camino, on ne fait pas de pas supplémentaires puisqu’on peut le rejoindre sans détour.

Points négatifs: Je n’arrive pas à trouver quelques chose de mal de cet établissement.

Points positifs: alfonso is the perfect host. His manor home is stunning and comfortable. We felt like royalty. We have stayed at Pazo Xan Xordo twice over the years and hope to do so again in the future. Thank you, Alfonso!!

Points positifs: He was very kind and it was cold because it rained, but he turned on the heater in advance. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good.

Points positifs: You felt like you were in someone's home. The staff took care of you like you really were a guest. The dinner and breakfast were superb. We were shown an easy way to connect back up to the Camino in the morning. Our favorite stop.

Points positifs: The location was perfect, close to everything & East walks to sights.The rooms were clean, neat but no artwork on white walls, felt a little monastic. Otherwise great place to stay!

Points négatifs: Breakfast was very limited to breads, jams, meats & cheese, cereal & yogurt. Wish they would have offered boiled eggs or other protein alternatives.

Points négatifs: Le petit déjeuner assez « pauvre » pour ce niveau d’établissement. Choix très limité et fruits de mauvaise qualité. Dommage Cet hôtel est très bien, mais son prix est surfait par rapport aux prestations offertes.

Points positifs: Tout,c'est un endroit vraiment exceptionnel avec un paysage magnifique,les pièces aménagées avec goût mais sans tape à l'oeil, un très grand confort dans les chambres,une belle piscine....et on y mange divinement,que ce soit le dîner raffiné ou le petit déjeuner avec produits frais et locaux. Et bien sûr le personnel charmant.

Points positifs: Everything was just excellent. We had two wonderful dinners and the place is more like a country house than an hotel

Points positifs: Fantastic location, beautiful scenery and overall lovely place to stay. However, our room was at the bottom of a steep cobbled slope and my mother was unable to walk up or down it. So we used the car to go 100m to breakfast and dinner. Also some quite treacherous steps to get to dinner. So .... if mobility not an issue the definitely recommend.

Points positifs: Lovely quiet location and surroundings set in the middle of forests but handy for visit to Santiago. Very good meals on the whole in very atmospheric setting. The chef attended each table and talked to the diners about the menu, quite unusual but appreciated.

Points positifs: Fabulous, beautiful place, spectacular location, stunningly beautiful room and facilities, exceptionally well renovated, great sauna, great restaurant and bar - everything was great!

Points positifs: An absolutely beautiful estate out in the country yet only 15 mins by car to Santiago. Very accommodating. Dog friendly with spacious areas for pups to run and play. Breakfast and dinner available on-site.

Points négatifs: Dinner being served at 9PM, just too late for us. The one night we did attend dinner it was delicious and the chef prepared a special vegetarian meal just for me. Would have attended dinner every night if it were earlier.

Points positifs: Wonderful hotel: great location and you cannot find better hosts. Even the dogs took their jobs very seriously: they politely welcomed us at the parking area and guided us to the reception :-) Don't miss the dinner, it is exceptionell. A big thank you!

Points positifs: Le caractère de ces bâtiments anciens (monastère de la fin du XVIIe siècle) , très bien réaménagés. Très grande disponibilité et gentillesse du personnel, en particulier envers les enfants. Notre chambre ressemblait plus à une suite, avec 2 pièces plus une grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire. Le grand jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques, avec un panorama dégagé sur les collines boisées alentour. Très bon dîner servi à partir de 21h, menu unique, avec une version adaptée aux jeunes enfants. Petit déjeuner fantastique, avec une large choix de charcuteries de qualité, des confitures, pâtes de fruit et gâteaux maison. Salle de jeux à disposition pour les enfants.
