Points positifs : Gas mileage on the Pacifica is great. It was comfortable.
Points négatifs : Hertz does not keep the tires rotated or in good condition. We had to switch the car because of how bald the front tires were. Back tires were a little better. I believe the better tires should be on the front. We were slipping on the road during our rainy drive. The second time we switched cars was Because a gas pumping malfunction. The car would not allow us put more then a few cents of gas at a time before clicking off. 45 mins for a half tank og gas is no good. 1st car was a dodge van, 2nd car was a Chrysler Pacifica (looked it up and it sounds like this a problem with these), 3rd car was pacific. We did most of our miles on this car. Great gas mileage but given to us with trash and Cheeto powder in it.

Points positifs : Absolutely NOTHING. In my Lyft, 2 minutes away from picking up the rental, someone from Hertz calls and tells me they cannot accommodate me because they have no vehicles to rent. What was I to do? I'm in another city and have already paid for a 20 min Lyft to this location and have not made any other accomodations because why would I? I had a reservation!!!! I was absolutely furious and was left scrambling and the Hertz guy could care less and was less than helpful. He had a "that's your problem, not mine" type of attitude as if I had done something wrong. I had the Lyft driver drive me to the airport and the whole ride back I was searching the internet high and low. Not only did the Hertz respresentative tell me he had no vehicles, but all the booking websites we're STILL allowing me to book through them. It wasn't until I was back at the airport where I found the most understanding and nicest representative through Enterprise. He not only put me in a rental but felt so bad that he dropped the daily rate to what I would've paid with the other guys. Thank you ENTERPRISE!

Points négatifs : Had to leave work early to pick it up before they closed and it wasn't ready. The car had just been turned in from the previous renter. Clerk said if I didn't want to wait there was a truck I could take instead. I was going on a mid-US trip, a truck would not fit my needs. When I finally got the car, it was completely dirty on the outside, bugs and dirt all over. The clerk said he was the only one there and he couldn't get it washed. I asked if I could get a car wash voucher. He said no. I asked if this was a franchise, he said no. I asked for his name and manager's name. I didn't call, no time on trip. Upon return, same clerk was there with someone else. He completely ignored me while I was there and had the other person help me. At one point it was just him and me in the office and still no acknowledgement. I'm really not sure if he was on an actual phone call. I heard the phone ring, he completed the call and took another but no ring.
Points positifs : NO.. there was not vehicle for me to rent... After 2 hours of waiting I gave Hertz my cell number and never heard from them again...
Points négatifs : that hertz actually honored the contract and had an appropriate vehicle for me...

Points positifs : Nothing!!! The staff at the location different information and policies than what was told to me by their customer service line. The deposit process was different than was explained, therefore it ended being a waste of time and money
Points négatifs : Consistency of knowledge by employees. The rate I got through Kayak was great, yet I wasnt able to take advantage of it due to an issue with the deposit upon arriving to pick up my rental
