Points négatifs : I would've appreciated picking up the vehicle on a full tank of gas. I didn't like having to get it, being on a time schedule then having to stop to fill up the vehicle. It was at half a tank when I picked it up.

Points négatifs : The customer service was horrible. It took me 30 minutes to simply pick up a vehicle. The vehicle was different than what I was expecting and then when I went to return it, it was very confusing where I was to leave the car. All around the experience was not worth it and I won’t be returning.
Points positifs : When picking up the vehicle, we found that it was unavailable despite having it booked.

Points négatifs : Called ahead for reservation yet when I got there they did not have the vehicle. HAD to upgrade so cost was way higher. Also I CALLED about extending and the cost was crazy high. Your 1 800 number was terrible as well.

Points positifs : To be honest, the things I liked were overshadowed by the terrible experience I had when I picked up the car. No customer should be treated this rudely and with disrespect as I was. I'm a CFO and if the company I worked for treated it's customers as rudely as I was treated, we would soon be out of business.
Points négatifs : My pickup was scheduled for noon and the Torrance, CA office was closed from noon to 1pm. This wasted an hour of my time. Nowhere did it say on my reservation that the office was closed during this time. If it did, I would have surely shown up at 11:45 to pick up my car. What was more frustrating was that there were two people there behind the counter when I arrived. One of the two was rude when I arrived to pick up the car telling me they were closed until 1pm and told me to "look at the sign" showing the office hours. They could have helped me but they just didn't want to. Not only will I never use Hertz again but I will go out of my way to advise people to not use them as well..

Points positifs : I received a call minutes before I went to pick up the car to inform me they did not have the large SUV. They would replace it with an Explorer. I explained to the lady that I owned an SUV so it didn’t make sense to rent if I was getting the smaller SUV. The whole point to rent was to have a large SUV not the same. She called me few hours later to let me know they found one. I was one of the lucky ones! Went I returned the SUV, three clients were being told that they did not have cars. I spoke to one of them and he told me he had been told he had to go to the airport. The three clients were told the same. Two of them had small children! They weren’t even offered a ride to the airport! Your not “exactly” add came to my mind as I witnessed what transpired. I guess I was one since I got the call and gave them the opportunity to find me a vehicle. Thanks, W. Jonas 310-864-2110

Points positifs : Very convenient being able to get such a great price at the last minute, no problems with the car at all and went very smoothly.
Points négatifs : Picking up the rental took some time more than usual, more had to do with the location of Hertz, wasn't managed very well and understaffed. Other than that everything was great
