Not much. The location near Kyoto Station is good. It is cheap.
The place is a dump! Clutter and garbage EVERYWHERE. It reeks of garbage. There is no service. The sheets were dirty. The cups were dirty. We ordered--and paid for--a 4-person room for 3 people and got a 2-person room: in other words, they overcharged grossly. The woman in charge spoke no English. They had lost the code for the wireless and the only computer terminal was ancient and covered with clutter. They barely responded to complaints. We moved out as soon as we could. She promised a full refund, then reneged on her promise.
The single person hot tub was great. The location was close to the train station.
Too many things, way too many things! There was luggage and shoes that filled the main entrance and steps going to the 2nd floor. There was only one bathroom (no shower) for ?? many people and a stained towel for drying your hands that wasn't changed the entire time I was there. The smell of something dead permeated the whole place! I wish I could say that the proprietor was helpful and available but she was not. It didn't help that she did not speak some English. It was a bad experience!
En choisissant Daiya Ryokan à Kyōto, vous profiterez d'un séjour agréable à seulement quelques pas de Temple Higashi Hongan-ji et à 6 minutes à pied de Tour de Kyōto.
