Points positifs: Le personnel, le WIFI, les chambres (collectives) spacieuses, la propreté des communs, le bar et sa terrasse, la proximité du centre ville et des commerces

Points positifs: It felt extremely safe. The staff were friendly. The rooms were cleaned everyday!

Points positifs: Se sentir en sécurité.

Points positifs: The staff was really helpful and friendly, they also have a 24/7 reception. It was really convenient to book (and re-schedule) trips even on very short notice! There are also plenty of activities offered at the hostel itself.

Points négatifs: Continental breakfast for ~50R was a little disappointing, it was the same every day and you didn't have much to choose from...those 50R are probably better invested in the supermarket next door

Points positifs: I have stayed here many times. Always awesome but the changes are amazing! Love the new chill out area! Big fridges for storing food. Clean kitchen, cool bar Phil and Kunzai awesome as always, and new staff Lungi and Lunga and? Tatum on reception(sorry for any spelling mistakes, guys, ) especially awesome! Safe area, only 10 min from waterfront, many bars and restaurants few min walk, and probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in!

Points négatifs: Les chambres devraient être vérifiées tous les jours en ce qui concerne la salle de bain et les papiers toilettes (manquant pendant plus de 24h)

Points positifs: La localisation et tous le reste du personnel. Le petit dej de folie et les personnes de passage

Points négatifs: Le serveur bourré et assez pervert et sans-gêne le matin au petit dej. Les travaux tous les matins sauf le dimanche des 8h. 9nuits et aucun changement de serviette. Interdiction de prendre ton alcool même si tu mange à leur barbecue organisé. La chambre n est pas comme celle sur les photos ayant réservé 3 mois avant on s attendais a la belle chambre indique sur booking avec le beau tapis rouge et la lumière entrant dans la chambre on était dans une chambre assez sombre et malodorante. La piscine pas éclairé le soir comme sur la photo et un peu salle et petite

Points positifs: Quartier sympa proche de tout, ambiance backpack vraiment sympa, tous âges, personnel sympas, petit déjeuner super correct, propre malgré le passage.La tente est vraiment sympa malgré le bruit de la route la nuit(boules quies;0)

Points négatifs: L emplacement dans la ville est bien mais bien noter qu il se situe entre 2 routes très passantes et donc du coup bruyant, surtout si vous prenez la tente qui est juste au bord de la route qui est bruyante la nuit.Et même pour la piscine la journée pas top pour se reposer;0)

Points positifs: Accueil, gentillesse, disponibilité

Points négatifs: Tres bien.... Mais promiscuité inevitable dans un logement collectif

Points positifs: Le personnel est très gentil, les petits déjeuners dans la cuisine commune sont très copieux et le braai du samedi soir super convivial (qui a d'ailleurs fini plus tard que prévu!) nous a permis de rencontrer et de partager avec des personnes du monde entier.

Points négatifs: La chambre double économique est très petite et juste à l'entrée du bar donc lieu de passage fréquent et +/- bruyant suivant l'heure.

Points positifs: L'ambiance bon enfant et le service amical. Le café est excellent.

Points positifs: Very clean, not too crowded, cosy bar outside, pool, very friendly staff, good WiFi everywhere, lots of space and storage in the kitchen, I felt like I'm staying with family, free breakfast

Points positifs: L'établissement correspondait à nos attentes. La chambre était propre et le lit double confortable. Le rapport qualité/prix est très honnête. La salle de bain était nettoyée tous les jours ainsi que les toilettes.

Points négatifs: Did not feel safe with man that were around . Their breakfast is not the same on their website. Just cornflakes bread butter jam and peanut butter. Was expecting to get nice breakfast and worse their plates and cups were not clean bcs every guest must wash after breakfast and some will just rinse without washing. No TV in the rooms, no carpet from the shower and no shower door. I will not recommend anyone to go there to experience what I have

Points positifs: Everything was so Good, Pool was great to have, Bar is Awesone.. Beds were comfortable and Clean.. Staff were Amazing! Felt like the Perfect place to stay in SA! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Points positifs: La disponibilité et la gentillesse des 2 filles de l'accueil (Kelly et je ne sais plus son nom). La propreté des salle de bain et sanitaires.. Cuisine bien équipée bien que les casseroles méritent d'être changer car toutes brûlées.. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié merci pour cela. L'emplacement à 20 min du watarfront et quartier safe.. Un super backpacker je recommande..

Points positifs: Great Location, very safe feeling. the staff is extremely helpful, booked me 2 amazing tours to the capes and vineyards as well as a ride to the airport for a good price. Staff is always around at the place, makes you feel safe and looked after. Daily cleaning. For my last day I could leave my luggage and use all facilities all day long, so I could have a shower before long distance flight after the whole day around in Cape Town. Meaning the common showers, fully equipped kitchen (Supermarkets max. 10 min. walk), cheap but nice private Bar for Hostel guests at the pool.... Great for jogging at Green Point Parkt or Green Point and Sea Point waterfront.

Points négatifs: there is constructions sides around, since the area is a very popular and safe to live one in Cape Town. So at daytimes it can get louder. which might be not too bad if you leave for tours or walking the city anyway rather than spending all day at the pool.

Points positifs: This is a lovely hostel that is very reasonably priced. The staff were super-friendly, the room was comfortable, and the beds were very nice. I would definitely stay here again. While the price is low, the quality of the stay was high.

Points positifs: Great vibe. Conveniently located for activities and to different areas in Cape Town. Nice, friendly staff. Good facilities - clean rooms, comfy beds. Put on activities throughout week which are interesting and fun. Helpful with arranging activities outside of hostel.

Points négatifs: Lack of variety for breakfast. Could get very noisy. Some organisational errors meant that a guy was put into our female dorm, he arrived at 3am which was unnerving - sorted late the next day but they’d oversold rooms and its upsetting to wake to a guy in the bed above. Unhelpful to tour guides if male a booking not through hostel.

Points positifs: It was more of a hotel than a hostel. Private double room with en-suite and good value for money. Safe location with lots of bars and restaurants close by. Hostel organized many events like yoga and local markets

Points négatifs: Power cuts ( although not the properties fault really) Untrained staff (except for Ruth she was superb) System glitches led to a staff member walking into our room in the middle of the night and then the following evening we arrived back to the hostel with essentially an eviction notice on our door telling us to report to reception immediately. The problem was eventually sorted

Points positifs: The hostel has a WhatsApp group for all guests which is pretty sweet to meet new people and find companions for trips through Cape Town

Points négatifs: There were a lot of insects in the bathroom and the room smelled quite bad

Points positifs: Lovely staff, a bed soft as a cloud and a vibe all day erlveryday..met ppl from around the world! They even hav a WhatsApp group where ppl post fun activities for us to join in on - yoga, hiking and free beer!

Points négatifs: It's a small thing but the bookshelf there just has novels and fiction. More varied bookshelf with afew more board games wlda made that space awesome.

Points négatifs: They refused to give the discount of 10% if you also stayed at Once in Johannesburg whithout any reason.

Points positifs: Localisation Chambre avec vue sur la montagne Le tour Guide réservé avec eux était vraiment sympa Parking non payant et sécurisé La décoration très verdoyantes.

Points négatifs: Pas de early check in (Meme a 13h40....) alors que ça été possible à once in joburg. Murs trop fins ! On entend tout des autres chambres et les portes qui claquent qui claquent qui claquent.... Personnel plutôt nonchalant. J’ai fait Once in Joburg et le décalage est flagrant entre les deux établissements. Chambre trop petite: ma valise ne pouvait être ouverte que sur le lit. Pas de cafetière. La peinture est fait à la va-vite et la porte entre la salle de bain et la chambre frottait au sol et coinçait du coup impossible d’être discret pour aller aux toilettes la nuit.. J’ai pris exactement le même standing à Once in Joburg et c’était vraiment l’inverse ! Télévision qui ne capte pas les Chaînes... Pas d’ascenseur Mais surtout en trois nuits passées la-bas on a été réveillé à deux reprises en pleine nuit (5h du matin et 1h du matin) par l’alarme incendie et un flash qui ne s’arrêtait pas! Ils disent que c’est le retour à l’électricité qui cause cela.

Points négatifs: Bedroom facing street are very noisy from the bar until 10pm

Points négatifs: The room was so dirty. Carpet hadn't been vaccumed probably in a week, and the bathroom probably not cleaned same, cockroaches in there and mold in the bathroom ceiling, then there was dirty old towels and old brouchers covering a lot of the mini table by the mirror.

Points positifs: L'emplacement est parfait dans un quartier jeune et dynamique au règne la mixité sur tout les points de vue. Pratique pour partir découvrir la ville à pieds. Plein de bonnes adresses tout autour pour sortir au restaurant ou boire un verre. Mais pour ce dernier le meilleur endroit c'est le premier étage de l'hôtel où se cache une immense terrasse verdoyante, où viennent se retrouver toutes les communautés autour d'un verre de vin et au son des Dj qui changent tout les soirs. Pour les couche tôt pas d'inquiétude les soirée commencent tôt et finisse tôt pour ne pas déranger

Points négatifs: Salle de bain sans aucun équipement, miroir petit et en hauteur. Compliqué pour mon épouse. Lattes de bois cassées sous la douche donc dangereux. Et comme au pensionnat aux heures de pointe il n'y a plus d'eau chaude

Points négatifs: The bathroom was rather repellant, with mold on the walls and underneath the plastic of the shower knobs, as seen on the pictures

Points positifs: The outside space are really amazing. We can easily walk from thé hostel to à lot of place of interest. Great situation even to do lion's head for exemple. They offer a lot of differents activities. Unfortunately we couldn't take part in any.

Points négatifs: Unfortunately our room is on the same floor as the bar. So there was a lot of noise during the night but that's also the thing when you chose a hostel. The breakfast was a bit limited.

Points positifs: Big Blue is absolute value for money. We always book them when we travel to Capetown. Located in the heart of the city with great variety of cultures and people from all over the world.

Points positifs: It's such a relaxed atmosphere, super friendly, employees and will do what they can to accommodate your needs. They also have a cat and super friendly, dog, which was one of the highlights of staying there. 10min walk fro. V&A waterfront, safe to walk to during the day. And, there are so many restaurants. I would hihgly, recommend this place. Oh, you also get breakfast.

Points négatifs: Place smelt like smoke when you walked in the front door because the common hangout area where people smoke is right by doors close to the bar and front entrance of place. Otherwise, the place is PERFECT.

Points positifs: Very cosy place with simple but clean facilities. Staff is marvellous, such as the bar and the little pool, who are nice places to meet and have interesting chats.

Points négatifs: Its a backpacker,so dont expect too much comfort for that price. The breakfast is simple toasts and cereal self service.

Points négatifs: Trop de monde dans la guesthouse, donc beaucoup trop de bruit. Dortoir féminin de 6 lits mais il s agit d une chambre en enfilade à moitié fermée ...a mon sens il s agit davantage d un dortoir de 12 lits, ça aurait mérité précision.
