The delicious daily breakfast and daily happy hour were unexpected treats. The breakfast staff and bartender were wonderful and helpfull. We were on the third level and had no issues with noise. The pool was adequate. Loved the seperate bedroom/living room. The place could use new carpeting and updated bedroom furniture. We had a problem keeping the dresser drawers closed. Also had to ask for pool towels.
Bed was clean, comfortable and linens/spread were new and not worn or stained. This was the best part of my stay. Room smelled musty, stale and not of 4 star quality. Property overall is getting worn down. This was not what I expected for an Embassy Suites.
Location, but this facility is showing some wear and need an upgrade. The Embassy Suites in La Quinta is much nicer

Not well insulated, you can hear everything, noise in the upper floors and people walking outside. Maid did an incomplete service in the room . Did not finish making the bed. Lights are not working, the air conditioner is do loud
staff at front desk (which had been moved to a room on the first floor due to construction) were accommodating throughout. i had to request another room on the top floor because of the sound of guests above kept me awake. breakfast offered a pleasant variety, but was only open from 6-9a. hours of breakfast, not well sound-insulated, fitness center closed (though front desk provided a guest pass to a gym about 1 mile away)
We arrived to a beautiful lobby and were quickly checked in to our room. The hotel had a complimentary happy hour at the time of arrival. Our two room suite was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, and felt like a great deal for the price. Our room was quiet, and the complimentary breakfast in the morning had a great selection. We were only a few miles from shopping centers, and just feet from a Starbucks. Would definitely return.
One of the worst hotel stays ever. No wonder TripAdvisor rates them 22 of 23 hotels in Palm Desert. I can't imagine there could be one worse. I paid an extra amount to reserve two beds -- for physical reasons since it was two males traveling and one of them has a broken elbow that can't be touched. But they had no two-bed rooms and basically said sure we overpaid but tough I had to get my attorney involved with the Getaway in order to get a refund at the horrible place (which is undergoing a huge renovation) which I didn't see on their listing. The worst of the worst.

Le personnel était très serviable, chaleureux, toujours prêt à aider. Nous avons dû aller trop loin pour le stationnement libre-service. Le week-end, il était difficile de trouver une place pour se garer.
L'hôtel a des jardins et espaces publics magnifiques. L'atrium et le service gondole sont très originaux, et le domaine aux alentours est l'un des meilleures dans la région de Palm Springs. Les chambres ne sont pas propres. Il n'y a aucune autre façon de le dire. J'ai trouvé des choses laissées par beaucoup de clients précédents dans la chambre, des déchets sur le sol autour des lits aux douches sales. Le personnel est également assez désagréable et pas très serviable.
Excellente piscine, probablement la meilleure en Californie.

Big room. Breakfast - horrible. Old bananas, oranges, waffle batter. Found old tissues & sock from previous guest in room. Son was sick at night. Front desk had no info on closest 24 hr. Urgent Care. After doctor visit, I handed front desk a card for UC.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful whenever asked a question. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Nice quiet hotel. Would definitely stay again.

It was right off the freeway and super convienient. It was clean and very nice and comfortable. They charge you $1.50 for the safe when you check in. Make sure to read what you're signing because they didn't tell me about it. If you don't use the safe you have to tell them the next morning to have it removed.
The staff was very nice and helpful. I forgot my toothbrush and the front desk gave me one with toothpaste, all free of cost. Was very quiet. Lots of parking. The pool was clean and nice. I thought the free breakfast was good. Comfortable beds. The location could have been better, but it still was close enough to the tennis matches.

Gym was clean and easy to use. Loved the library,very cozy! Breakfast was good,but chaffing dishes do not keep food hot. Would be very helpful to have a microwave available to heat up items .

we usually like staying at embassy suites (ES), the complimentary breakfast and social hour are wonderful and cost effective. Most of the embassy suites stays we have experienced handled this well. This one did not. The overall feel of the hotel, especially mid-construction, was shabby and dirty. The staff were unavailable at most times, and the breakfast and social hour were more akin to homeless shelter giveaways rather than the quality fare that we have had at other ES. Breakfast was a microwave hot mess. There was a rush of people early and the staff (there was only 1 staff member manning both the cocktail hour and breakfast) couldn't keep up. The construction was noisy and inconvenient, and we should have been notified of construction Before checking in. This was a horrible stay and we will not booking embassy suite stays again. It may be clean and new after the construction, but this experience will move us away from booking them again.

The cleanliness and comfortable beds. The price for one night was a bit much. And Hampton Inn does not offer a military discount or a discount for Disableld veterans. For this reason I will never again use Hampton Inn during my annual trip to Palm Springs.
The room is clean and quite & the breakfast is very good with lot of choice to choose from The elevator is a bit slow.
The hotel was clean, front desk could've been a tad friendlier. She wasn't bad, just wasn't very cheerful. I felt like we were bothering her. All in all it was a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay there again. Nothing!

Restaurant and staff was excellent, Javier our Server at Pinzimini made our dinner that much more enjoyable and was very accommodating of my wife's food allergies Room was downgraded and not what we paid for. Also we were sent to a nearby golf course instead because we were told they didn't have a 9 hole option which we found out later that they did :(
Rooms are large. Beautiful public buildings and golf courses. Beds are very comfortable. Excellent Fitness Center. Checkin was difficult for one friend who came in late and the Front Desk made be wake up at Midnight and come to Front Desk and turn in a voucher which was not required for the other 3 rooms I had reserved for our group. That should not have happened. Everyone else had no problem checking in with ID and Credit Card but the late night clerk on Friday Night June 10th was really being silly in his demands for our late arrival. He needs to use some common sense next time and see that I had 6 rooms total in my name and added her (my friend) to one reservation.....ridiculous.
The resort is great Rooms could be upgraded. I didn't feel the room to be as clean or comfortable as other resorts we have stayed at.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin Mission Hills Resort. Staff was friendly and attentive from check-in to check-out. Accomodating and helpful for whatever I inquired. Had a lovely golf course view which was spacious and comfy, and most importantly quiet! Plently of fun for my 8 yr old, but quiet enough at bedtime where we felt like we were the only ones there. Utilized the pools and restaurants the entire time, receiving friendly service from all. Breakfast buffet was delicious and great service each day.

Probably the best bang for my buck ever at a hotel. Spacious room with a great golf course view. There was an adult only pool just around the corner from our room and a larger more family friendly pool towards the main plaza which means the hotel can accommodate any life stage. The main take away though is the customer service, every employee we passed in the hall said hello and asked how our day was. This on the outside seems like a small and simple thing but it made the experience so much more enjoyable.
Book a couple massage which was great, spa location noisy, jackhammering outside my room for two straight days, went there to escape LA noise pollution but it was worse I will give it another try, maybe

We like many things at this resort and this is the reason we go back a few times a year. Yet the service of many employees is not as good as can be, unfortunately. Requested to change room from 2 queen to a king bed and was refused, requested an upgrade and was refused, reason was the resort was sold out and no changes in room type could be made. Resort was busy but not sold out and i am sure our request could have been accommodated but we received only straight refusal. No cell phone service anywhere in the resort!
This place has potential but needs massive work. Dirty, a moth hanging out in between the drapes, flies galore, dirty rooms, non functional outlets & lamps. We had a total of 4 rooms. Yucky & icky. Turn down service means close the shades and empty out waste baskets. What happened to prep the bed, leave two little chocolates, slippers and then closing the drapes. Westin has let me down on this trip. untrained staff in customer service & cleanliness of facilities.

Rooms are great, comfortable, and clean. Setting is fantastic against the hills Smoking! Had balcony open at night, people below were smoking on their baloney at 5 am. Woken up from deep sleep by smoky room, and was in queen bed furthest from opening. Later informed front desk so not to get hit with cleaning fee, was told it's ok, No fee unless actually caught in the act. Clerk was unconcerned about the incident. Is smoking allowed on balconies? Oh no, smoking isn't allowed anywhere. Well, it ruined the night. She didn't get it...
The employees were some of the nicest I've experienced anywhere. From the valet, front desk, and wait staff at the pools and restaurants. We got upgraded without asking. I'll definitely be back. I get that hotels have resort fees now, but at least tell me what it's for. The only thing I could figure out was that it included a couple bottles of Dasani. And $27 for overnight valet parking? Yikes. It's Indian Wells, not NYC.

Great amenities and hotel restaurants. Parking listed for free, ended up $30. Okay though considering the value.
The people are so friendly and accommodating! From Jonathan who checked us in to Danny at Valet and Michael the butler. They made my friend's Birthday so very memorable and had champagne for us the first night and left cupcakes when we got back the second night. The rooms could have been cleaned better. There was a roach in the room the whole weekend,even after they came to clean that first morning. Otherwise the service was exceptional, I will tell everyone about it.
This place is great during an off season or during the middle of the week but it gets packed like any other place on the weekend or holidays.
I like the different options for dining and activities. The room service was guaranteed in 30 mins which was great. The staff were all friendly and everything was open til the late hour. Our room was not ready and we had to wait around. The pool area needs more cleaning especially after a big rush.

The Restaurant and Adult Pool, the outdoor lounge and music at night. The housekeeping staff is completely incompetent. The beds were made with sheets to small for the bed, they rolled up during the night, very uncomfortable. Multiple complaints were met with acknowledgement, but nothing was done about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
My wife and I are 24 and 27 and we've stayed here multiple times. We love the fact that there is a seperate adult only pool and overall the hotel is very quiet. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and the decor is newer and clean. The two things we did not like are the parking and prices of food at the pool. You HAVE to pay for parking whether self of valet... And the food at the pool was pretty outrageous... Very convenient and delicious, but outrageous.
Nice room. Clean. Refrigerator in room kept turning on throughout the night and rattled so it was hard to sleep.
Access . Valet. Front desk check in !!! Tooo slow. Lacks clarity. !!! Room. Smaller than I expected for 800 a night. No mini bar no real sence of luxury. Blinds fell off needed menatainance !!!!!! This was not the expected result for me. I stay in expensive rooms all the time. This one was not that great I couldn't sleep. Penthouse room 5221 .. I was there match 5th.
Great location, facility and experience. We made reservations for two rooms. One through the La Quinta website and the other through Kayak. They had no record of the Kayak reservation. They still got us in after some delay. First time that has ever happened. Wifi not good at all.

The Mexican restaurant Adobe was really good and they are super dog friendly which was nice! We switched rooms because our first room smelled like cigars and weed, our second room wasn't much better either. The bathrooms are highly outdated and they don't offer robes or slippers in the rooms which I found odd.
Staff was gracious and helpful. There was sincerity in their attentiveness The bungalows are old so you can hear the televisions and water going through pipes in neighboring rooms. Pretty minor though and would still recommend a stay here.
Loved the literal wonderland that you enter into when inside the property.. It feels like Through the Looking Glass (complete with outdoor chess!). The pools are nice, the lemonade stand drinks are excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Kind of disappointed about the room (on the small size, and teetering on the brink of shabby and chic - but I guess if you like shabby chic, this is great!). I overheard someone complaining about cookie crumbs (not theirs!) in their sheets when they climbed into bed.. those better have been some damn good cookies (no, sorry, I'm kidding - that is just disgusting). I was also frustrated by the booking process.. Granted, I used a third party site ("not the responsibility of the Parker"), but you know what, I have two words: quality control. They do not have to let every last crummy travel site book their rooms for them (and shame on me for using said crummy travel site!). Oh and lastly, the prices are kind of ridiculous here. It doesn't matter how wealthy you are (not that I am), but I think anyone would be insulted by $36 for juice and coffee (which I overheard someone ELSE complaining about at the pool--wasn't even me!).
The hotel is unique with a lot of character. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. The entire staff was amazing as well as the food. Every meal I had there did not disappoint!

The hotel has an excellent staff. Cindy, our cabana attendant was awesome. She would check on us regularly, brought us multiple buckets of ice (without us asking), and was very sweet to the kids. I think every staff interaction I had was wonderful. The hotel is really geared towards families and they have a ton of activities for kids in addition to Splashtopia. The restaurant on site, Blu Ember, is wonderful. They had deals going on during our stay where the kids would eat free and there were a lot of options for the kids both at breakfast and dinner. The walls are thin and we could hear everything that was being said next to us. The families next to us were not being particularly loud, it's just that the walls are paper thin. Our bathroom had ants, which is not that big of a deal, but made me feel like maybe things weren't that clean. There are no elevators to reach the second floor. This is not a problem. We prefer to take the stairs. However, the building we stayed in (#24) had uneven stairs. So the first step was huge and then all the rest of the stairs would be the same size and then the last stair would be larger again. Both my sons fell the first time because they were not expecting such a large step. If you have little ones I would recommend getting a first floor room, however, with the walls being so thin = noise issue, I don't know if you want someone above you.

Splashtopia There were several entrances to access the pool area although you could not get towels at most of the entrances and had to walk a good distance to get towels. That was not convenient.

Hotel was in a perfect location, near restaurants, shopping and downtown Palm Desert. Staff was friendly, and the lobby and bathrooms were really clean. Mattress was firm but pillows were nice. Other room amenities were excellent - TV, bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The elevator was dirty and smelled bad, and the air conditioning unit smelled a little like urine (probably from water issues). Sheets were a little on the rough side. Overall, very minor issues given the price.

The stall was great-loved everything except the pool The pool was extremely small-was very disappointed-there was 8 people in the pool and it was crowded-that needs to be address in the website-I came for r&r -swim relax sleep and read-was there for 3 days and only went in the pool once because of this

The hotel only had two floors accessible from INSIDE the hotel a welcome change from hotels where access to your room is from a walkway! The rooms were clean, big and extremely comfortable, especially the 2 queen sized beds! I was a little disappointed that the hotel only seemed to have one ice machine located on the first floor. But that is a minor glitch because for the price this place was fabulous!!!

Breakfast was great. The many items offered were still available toward the end of the breakfast hours. Rooms were clean and quiet. After arriving very late, we needed to change our room to 2 queen beds. The front desk clerk was happy to make the change.

The room was nice; bed comfortable; quiet. Lobby area is just somewhat inviting. The staff was cordial, but not really friendly.
Staff were very helpful . My 81 year old mom and I were travelling through. She has a hard time walking and they made sure our room was on the main floor close to the breakfast area and lobby. All good except I could have used a USB port for charging my phone.
