Points négatifs : I wanted to change the dates of my pickup but because I was getting it at a discounted price I couldn't change anything or get a refund
Points négatifs : Payless rips you off through sketchy business practices. We arrived at the counter later than the time that we had approximated when we booked the car (who ever gets their exact arrival time right—what if your flight is delayed!?). Apparently Payless’ practice is to cancel your reservation if you are at all late, and then tell you that you’ll have to pay the walk up fee if you want the car. So, the car we’d booked for $55 for the weekend was all of a sudden $240 for the weekend. Not only that but it was the worst rental car I’ve ever had. You had to actually physically roll the windows up and down and hand lock every door, which I haven’t seen since 1999.
Points positifs : No line. No problem picking up car.
Points négatifs : Didn't know there was an additional fee for the 2nd driver. First time I've ever been charged for this service. I don't like hidden charges.

Points négatifs : Car did not have full tank of gas, but staff did not have any issues coming back. Car smelled like smoke or just not fresh.
Points positifs : Nice perk on the check-in, they brought the vehicle closer to the door, so I didn't have to walk the parking lot in the freezing cold. (still had to do the walk-around to check for damage, but ok).
I was able to add an extra day over the phone in just a few minutes.
Points négatifs : At drop-off, no one at desk. But I just rang the bell, and someone grabbed the keys to check the vehicle, to start the return process.
Points positifs : They were nice and didn’t try and “up sell” anything.....like insurance, a larger car, etc. No hassles.

Points positifs : nothing
Points négatifs : When I arrived and requested my car they stated that since I did not have a return airline ticket I would be subjected to a $500 hold on my credit card and that I needed to provide a recent utility bill in addition to a myriad of other items. I questioned on this and they stated it was listed in their "terms and conditions" under the booking. I asked them how many of their customers read through every clickable link on their website and suggested that if they wanted to continue doing business they indicate that if you are not a return airline flyer you need to read through this document. Extremely rude, and they event admitted most people DO NOT read the terms and conditions. You'd think they would like the money but... they'd rather be smartasses about it and say it is not our fault you don't scroll through a 10 page email and look for information you have no way of knowing you'd need. I didn't end of renting the car, and frankly, I'll make sure all the veterans I know NEVER use their car service.
Price is higher at drop off
Points positifs : Good service. Car is clear though with many miles
Points négatifs : Extra hours charged when I returned the car.
Payless did not have a reservation for me
Points négatifs : Payless did not have a reservation for me. He searched with my name as well as reservation number but no use. The person at the counter wasn't too friendly anyway. Had to take a cab instead.....
Points positifs : Very pleasant experience all around.
