Points positifs : The Nizuc has the be the nicest hotel in cancun. The grounds are breathtaking with views to the sea from most rooms. The suites are incredible high ceilings beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel also offers some of the best food I have ever had. But what really makes the whole experience is the staff, they are there to help at any moment and have made is feel so welcome and looked after. Their attention to detail and service is outstanding and left us wanting to return again and again.

Points positifs : L’emplacement, le site, la piscine à débordement, les chambres, le service, tout était exceptionnel. Un peu à l’écart , ne ressemblait pas trop à Cancún !
Points négatifs : Les bâtiments annexes à l’hôtel principal: trop éloignés, il faut une voiturette de golf pour se rapprocher de la plage et des restaurants! On a demandé à changer de chambre tout de suite car on se sentait trop isolés dans le bâtiment 8: on n’a pas passé le même séjour !!Bâtiment principal exceptionnel, immense balcon, vue sur la baie, plage et piscine . Moyennant un supplément bien sûr.

Points positifs : The property is just perfect for family or couples. Has great restaurants and the facilities are great. Their Indochine Restaurant and Ramona restaurant serve exquisite meals that are flavorful and fulfilling. The service throughout the resort was exceptional.

Points positifs : Nizuc is a calming and relaxing resort with unique and modern decoration, beautiful view. It’s best for a writer or journalist, couple on honeymoon or holding a wedding here. I have nothing to complain but more than my expectations. The staffs are so welcome, respectful and helpful. We have bought lots of artisan decoration and asked them for boxes. They brought them to our as we came back. Love the food at Nizuc Indochina restaurant. The beach side for adults only is nice but not on the family side however there is a pool with amazing view. You can do snorkeling at the property I guess.

Points positifs : J’ai fait les plus beaux hotels du monde mais celui-ci est vraiment PARFAIT en interieur comme en extérieur, et le service est superbe. De plus j’ai été agréablement surpris de voir qu’il y avait de la nourriture Casher à la carte, Haut de gamme... L’hotel est tres grand avec un superbe service de transport en voitures de golf, plusieurs piscines magnifiques, à proximité du centre ville, les équipements et le personnel sont parfaitsj. On se sent vraiment au paradis, idéal pour un moment magique ...je recommande!

Points positifs : All the restaurant staff, bar staff, entertainment staff, and cleaning staff were amazing. The rooms were beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent.
Points négatifs : The front desk staff was very slow and rude most of the time. The checkin experience was disappointing even compared to less expensive hotel.

Points positifs : This was the case that second experience was much better than the first. The hotel applied incredible improvements as compared to the last year regarding quality of food, attention and of conditions of the room. The staff remembered me from the last year, which appeared to be quite pleasant. The food here is exquisite, high quality, for example the seafood grill or sweets or waffles! And you do not have to worry as it is a truly all inclusive hotel, I was not put under stress in any of the cases. They let me attend lunch after my check-out, which was such a pleasant surprise. I was staying at ocean view room on the 8th floor and it was totally enjoyable! The service got much friendlier even though still not pushing or distractive. There are many options for different types of leisure. I totally liked my stay here and will try to return as soon as there is opportunity. And it is SOOOO GREAT it is adult only! It was so great the staff was not trying to bother me in the morning this time.
Points négatifs : Well... it is a kind of force majeure, but 4 out of 6 days of my stay there was seagrass very close to the beach and the sea was not that pleasant to swim in, a lot of seagrass was on the beach as well. The ones who are ok with amazing swimming pools at Sun Palace did not feel the difference, but for me the sea is important and it was a bit of a disappointment. But what can you do with the mother nature in such circumstances? So it is more about my personal disappointment than about disadvantages of the hotel. Also, early in the morning one day the staff was doing something in the corridor and it was heard from the room, it was at about 7 a.m. Not that much kind of a bother, but still. Probably, some soundproof could be added to the rooms.

Points positifs : Staff really try hard. Food gets repetitive and is often luke warm at the buffet. The food often lacked a loving touch to make it more authentic i.e the Thai and other Asian dishes lacked any wow factor.

Points positifs : The Sun Palace is beautifully maintained by staff who seem truly happy to be working there and genuinely enjoy serving customers. The beach chairs are so comfortable (thick cushions), the towels are large, the showers are large with nice products provided. We loved the hot tub in the room. The location is ideal. It's at the quiet end of Cancun so there were no noise problems. The Thai restaurant has the best food on the property. The room service staff were fantastic!
Points négatifs : The Mexican restaurant menu is neither Mexican nor tasty. I'm not sure what is happening there. The drinks on property are plentiful, but if you order anything other than a straight alcohol drink (martini), you will get mostly mix. Very weak.

Points positifs : The property was super clean and beautiful. Refreshing scents and smells around each corner. Bathrooms were always clean and not a far walk from the beach at all.

Points négatifs : We have spent $1,300.00 for two nights incl. a concierge...Hotel is dated and for such an amount of money we have expected a better hotel room - finishes etc. - also after we have spent two nights/ days at this hotel we moved to the Paradisus by Melissa and it was less expensive per night over the Valentine s day and the hotel over all was way more luxurious and felt just nicer; on the top it a week later I wanted to go back to the hotel since I wanted to use the ATM inside and asked the bell boy to get access; he refused and said these are the rules; I have showed him receipts of my stay the week prior and he still did not grant access; I asked for the Manager or Security guy in charge and he just laughed at me together with his other colleague; I was in a need of cash for a taxi and literally was on the street with no working ATM in the area and had arrange myself differently; maybe it is just me but this hotel is compared to e. g. The Paradisus (Royal Service) not worth its money (in my case $650.00 / night)

Points positifs : Nothing! Very bad service from Booking.com and from Moon Palace. If you are paying for a 5 star hotel I expect 5 star service from the moment of check-in! Would have given a 0 but booking only allows a 2.5 as lowest.
Points négatifs : Do not reserve here! Booking's algorithm for rating is also off. I wanted to give a 0 but the lowest that is given is 2.5 even when choosing all bad. I did not like anything. We arrived to the hotel with the our Booking.com reservation for 2 adults and 1 child. Clearly stated in the reservation. Upon arrival they said they only had reservation for 2 adults and that we had to pay more. We told that this is an issue to resolve with Booking not with us. Next Fernanda of the Front Desk said there was no payment in their system and that they could not give us bracelet because we did not pay and first had to sort this out. We had a payment receipt both from Booking and PayPal. We sent these to her and manager Lucia or Laura by email on the spot and even this was not enough. None of employees at the Front Desk are in the right position. They don't know how to provide a great service as can be expected from this type of hotel. All the time they were whispering between themselves and a no moment was any respect shown. What was supposed to be a special weekend started off very badly. Not at all the experience I was expecting from a 5 star/diamond hotel. After more insisting and more insisting and obviously getting angry and disappointed, we finally we got the bracelets and went to the pool. After about 4 hours I got 2 messages on my phone that our room was ready. We thought, great service to get a message and went back to the reception. There was a lady at the reception (another one) that almost activated our bracelet to access the room and then suddenly another colleague and the Front Office Manager showed up stating that we can not access the room at all because we did not pay. More than 4 hours later, they still had not resolved the issue with Booking.com. We had sent all information already of payment and even so 4 hours later we were once more treated with no respect and had to go through the whole storey again.

Points négatifs : We stayed here for a small (less than 40 people) family wedding. While I would recommend this resort for a general visit (hotel was nice and clean), I would NOT recommend it for a small wedding. The wedding planner didn’t attend the reception for more than a very short time and there was no direction for the reception activities. The toast was an afterthought after people asked when it was going to be (ended up with / after cake). There was confusion on what was to occur when and no announcements for activities (we weren’t aware the cake was being cut!) The wedding planner was paid and the couple should not have to run the reception. It seems they were told there were other, larger weddings on site - but each wedding should be given meticulous attention and direction! To top it off, the meal was inconsistently cooked - some had medium rare steaks (as ordered) but many had over cooked, dry steaks! It was not of a caliber that I would expect at an expensive resort.

Points négatifs : room Service was horrible. food takes over 1 hour to be delivered and it was stone cold multiple times. Staff was clueless on the processes; everything was a hassle... To get a day pass, to change appointments or to use resort credits. If you make any bookings calling the extension from the room, no one can help you in the lobby. All systems were disconnected and different people will tell you different things. Drinks were ridiculously watered down.. I mean come on! There was literally no alcohol in any of the cocktails. Also, the food was strictly OK and service in the restaurants was spotty. Oh and the pushy sales people in the lobby-- That was the biggest turn off. Right after you arrive all exhausted and just want to get to your room, these so called guest services folks get you under the pretext of going over the resort and amenities. Then they try to force you to attend a timeshare presentation. They visibly get upset and keep pushing if you decline. When I travel thousands on miles for my vacation, this is the last thing I want to deal with. I have paid enough money and just want to relax. The timeshare sale thing was disgusting! I will never go here again ever.

Points négatifs : 1. value of money 2. response to questions. I sent email after booked the hotel, but no response at all. For such a high-standard hotel, this is not acceptable. This not only happened to me, my family experienced the same who stayed there as well. 3. Check-in is very slow, we waited at least 30 minutes... 4. We need to change the room from Sunrise to Nizuc. The thing itself is not a big deal, no matter get changed or not, but the fact that the customers need to go from one place to another to get that done doesn't give a good customer experience.

Points positifs : I liked the facilities the pool and the spa is amazing. Also the dolphins royal swim tour was amazing. The value for money is excellent since that we enjoyed a lot of activities and we got to eat and drink for free durin our stay. Restaurant are very fancy and the room are luxurious.

Points positifs : Loved the location it is amongst shops and restaurants which made dinner and supply shopping easy. Quiet area and building. Great it had a pool and gym though our stay was too short to use them. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. Easy and cheap parking.

Points positifs : The hotel is clean, but very basic. Facilities are limited and the breakfast is rather unimpressive. It's far from the city center and the beaches, so it's better to have a car, but it is close to the airport. The staff was very nice. Especially in the evening shift, Nabil and Adriana were both welcoming and have been very sweet helping me with my requests. Kudos to them!

Points positifs : I really enjoyed my stay in this gracious hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I was immediately greeted at check in with a glass of tequila over ice. The grounds are beautiful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I eat a vegan diet, and was well accommodated. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and a nice man at the airport telephoned the hotel for me to come and pick me up. I was frazzled by the time I arrived at the hotel, with flight and baggage delays, and the friendly and welcoming environment at the hotel was a big healing for me! Thank you, I will always stay here when I have to fly in and out of Cancun.

Points positifs : Everything since facilities, staff, restaurant, and shuttle service are excellent. Real large TV in room. Pool is big enough and Jacuzzi is great, both in a perfect garden setting. The restaurant has also great outside sitting that looks to the garden and pool areas. Room service is quick. The entry lobby and ckeck-in areas are pleasantly decorated.
Points négatifs : In the morning Fox News channel didn't have any sound and no CC, but the night before was perfect. It was the only channel with that problem. This same sound blockage happened on a previous stay.

Points positifs : + Great location near the Airport of Cancun. We just stayed there for 1 night before leaving for Playa del Carmen. Our flight arrived late so it was the perfect location. Location was really quiet. + Staff at the reception was nice + Free parking available in front + Room was spacious, simple, clean and comfortable + King size bed + Wifi worked well + We couldn't enjoyed it, but there was a nice pool outside + Free shuttle available but we had our own transportation
Points négatifs : - Mattress was a little bit rough - Shower jets were sharp, they should maybe fix the shower head - Hotel is hidden from the main street by the Fairfield Inn hotel. We got lost a little bit, but we finally found it.

Points positifs : I was really extremely happy with the powerful a/c and blackout curtains. I slept like death for 15 hours. The Wifi was excellent, I needed to take a really important work meeting and had no issues. Would stay there again to play it safe just for the trusty WiFi.

Points positifs : Way south from mid/north hotel zone, quieter, smaller than the mega hotels. Nice! Close proximity of the pools (3), beach, bar/grill; a real plus! Great friendly staff!
Points négatifs : Our room on the Blvd. side, while OK, was lacking a comfortable lounge chair in the jacuzzi room. We requested a microwave but "none was available." Night noise was somewhat problematic; next time we'll upgrade, though value of basic room is very good.

Points négatifs : I decided to upgrade my reservation to a room with apparently on the booking pictures ocean view, at least. But at the lobby he told me that there were a « kind of wrong picture »...! And I kind of waste my money for nothing. had a road view.. « kind of highway »... Noisy all night long! Also, when we finaly checked in, we went to the pool and they came over to ask to change the room as they made a mistake... So they would like to upgrade to appologize.. but NO they downgraded. Not sure it reveals the real potential of the hotel but it definetely didn’t worth it!

Points positifs : Agustin was very efficient and messaged us beforehand regarding meeting us on arrival. He was so helpful and a delight to meet. The condo was lovely and the pool and beach were fantastic. It was very easy to catch a bus right outside to go to the end of the strip and Downtown. Thank you for making our stay so easy. Would love to stay again if we go back to Mexico.

Points positifs : The rooms at Sensaciones are big and have stripper poles, 2 beds, plenty of shower space (no curtains in shower though, found this in some Cancun hotels as well). The location is almost equidistant to Cancun centre (25-30 mins) and playa del Carmen (45 mins to an hour). Staff is accommodating and the motel felt relatively safe.

Points positifs : Loved the spaciousness even though the place is packed you never have to fight for a place by the pool! Also loved the service at the pools and in restaurants - for the most part it was great
Points négatifs : The steak house service was poor, we were the last sitting and had to wait 30mi S even to be offered drinks! It would also be nice if the staff knew a bit more about the hotel, many of them were not able to answer fairly basic questions about the resort

Points négatifs : Everything was really nice I loved my stay except that the beds are really uncomfortable. I woke up with a back pain that lasted for several days during my stay. Also the attention and service at the Asian cuisine restaurant was HORRIBLE. My family and I just left without even finishing our dinner to go eat at the buffet because the service was unacceptable. But other than that everything else was really good.

Points positifs : The staff was very helpful and nice to answer all of my questions about what was in the area,how far things were and getting us a taxi right away.
Points négatifs : Didn’t know there would be animals there(2 cats and a dog) and the location was a little off to me. it was very hot downstairs and the WiFi did not work in the rooms.they didn’t have any TVs in the room,the one in the “excersice room” did not work! The house was nice but they set up wasn’t that great.

Points positifs : It isn't the nicest area, but it is close to Cancun airport - 10 minutes by taxi. However, the B&B itself is very nice and there is a pool. Very spacious room and bathroom. No restaurant but the owners were very helpful and happy to order a takeaway for us, which was great as there is nothing nearby. Breakfast is coffee and toast

Points négatifs : Location was hard to find. The bedroom door only locked from the outside so it could not be locked when you went to bed. Had other guests walking into my room during the night. The toilet didn’t want to flush. When you tell the staff they say they will fix later. Ended up leaving three days early and they refused to refund the three nights plus they rerented the room.

Points négatifs : Nous aurions du avoir la chambre avec spa, mais visiblement suite à un souci dans la salle de bain, nous avons eu une autre chambre, sans spa et du coup un peu moins chère, mais au final trop chère pour ce que c était. La chambre en question semblait plus être une chambre de secours qu'une vraie chambre : certes propre mais le miroir posé sur la commode au lieu d être accroché au mur, une salle de bain qui mériterait un coup de neuf. L emplacement est juste bien pour l accès à l aéroport. Toute la nuit des chiens ont aboyé. Et le must a été les lampes de l intérieur de la chambre qui flashe toutes les minutes alors qu'elles sont éteintes- top pour dormir.

Points positifs : Although there were a couple of speedbumps getting into the hostel - there was some confusion about the time I was arriving and so there was a bit of a wait to get into the hostel, but Denise made up for it with her great hospitality- she took me to a food truck park with her friend and we had dinner and drinks together! Thanks so much Denise for being so great! And the rooms are lovely- and there's a pool! Also, the two dogs are beautiful.
Points négatifs : I didn't realise that the location was in the jungle! But it's kinda cool- you just need to call to confirm the time you're arriving, and ideally have a driver who knows where he is going ! Again, Denises hospitality and willingness to show you cool things makes up for it all.

Points négatifs : Horrible nuit.jamais vu des chambres aussi sales.partout.odeur de moisi insupportable qui prend a la gorge..partout (dans nos 4 chambres).cafard.je parle même des lits et du personnel.des cafards,des tiques...cet endroit est insalubre...nous étions avec des enfants et nous nous sommes douché avec nos chaussures et puis après on a même renoncé a se douche. De plus les taxis ne trouvent pas le lieu meme avec le gps (pas de routes...un chemin....sal aussi...).on a tourné 40mn avec le notre avant d y arriver (le chauffeur avait essayé de les joindre mais personne ne repond) Si nous avions eu un vehicule nous serions reparti de suite. Ne vous fier pas aux photos et a la desciption.tout est faux.la clim ne marche pas.2 filles sont sur place... ne font rien.elles squatent la table pendant que les clients mangent debout... Endroit insalubre.vraiment.tres mauvais souvenir et heureusement que pour une nuit (pas dormi d ailleurs)

Points négatifs : Showerhead needs work. Comfort Inn says Cancun won't let them shuttle people TO the airport, only pick up there. Shuttle pick-up from the airport took more than 30 minutes.

Points négatifs : The supposed policy that they can only pick-up guests at the airport seems like nonsense given that they pick up guests in the departures area of the airport. Instead we have to pay $15 for a 5-minute ride and in my case to follow the shuttle to the airport.

Points positifs : The price was great and the staff was awesome. Didn't have any issues their just a couple of things that I wish they fixed.
Points négatifs : Well the wifi doesn't work in the rooms only in the lobby and on the roof. They are working with that issue is what I was told. And one major problem is that It's really close to the airport meaning it's really far from everything, so prepare to spend some extra cash on transportation usually a taxi will charge you 200 and more ( pesos of course) recommended uber just be careful because they don't like each other.

Points négatifs : The hotel is located 3 minutes from the airport, yet their taxis charge half the price it would take to get from Playa del Carmen (a 45 min drive). They say they have shuttles, apparently it's only for travelers arriving at Cancun, the shuttle doesn't take you to the airport. The rooms are basic, the walls are thin, I felt and heard anything that happened even across the hall. The breakfast was bread, butter and jam. Nothing was continental about this. The hotel is overpriced for what it's offering in comparison to Mexico. In any other country it would have been understood, but for Mexico standard there is no value for money. Would never ever go back
