Points négatifs : Although I preselected my bulkhead seat so I had more legroom, the family behind me was the worst I e experienced ever in flying. Constant kicking, pulling, tapping the back of my chair. When I tried to put my seat in recline the passenger behind me said “no!” Never slept!

Points positifs : The crew were pleasant. The plane was clean. The food was fine, as far as airplane food goes. Chocolates were a nice touch.
Points négatifs : We were delayed by hours; just before boarding offered voucher for free bottle of water...? Later found out it was supposed to be a meal voucher (hours late in leaving). Too late to use, by then. No soap in WC - flight attendant said she could not replace it. Very limited entertainment options.

Points négatifs : The ticket wasn't used; it went to waste because the infant I was supposed to courier became too ill to travel and the airline would not allow a change fee after you sent me to book the IDENTICAL FLIGHTS 2 weeks later and the entire fare went down the drain. I had to purchase the entire fare again. The lack of compassion on the part of both Kayak and Edelweiss/Swiss Air is beyond my comprehension at this time. I hope to never have to fly them again if I ever have a choice.

Points négatifs : Au Canarie ils n’ont pas été capable de donner tout les billets d’avions de mon trajet jusqu’à montreal, j’ai seulement eu le billet jusqu’à Zürich . Ça pris plus de 30 minute pour l’obtention de mon billet. Et le départ a eu lieu 15 minutes plus tard que prévu. Nous avions demandé billet coté allé et nous avons eu centre et hublo. Très déçu de la logistique de cette compagnie aérienne .

Points négatifs : Poor weather in Denver delayed takeoff. Maybe 200 ppl missed a connection, then stood for 2h in line to get rebooked.
Points négatifs : Arm rest in coach are unable to go in full upright position making it impossible for small children to sleep in you lap

Points négatifs : Did not like their website. Could not login or even find my flight info. Wanted to get seat assignment earlier than they would allow.
Points négatifs : I could not check in online. In fact, neither the Swiss Air nor Edelweiss web pages even listed a flight from Calgary to Zurich. This was very frustrating and worrying. I could neither get a boarding pass nor select a seat. Fortunately, everything at the airport was fine.

TRAVEL BY AIR IS A NECESSARY EVIL
Points positifs : No other way to get there in 10 hours The on crew are very nice.
Points négatifs : Air travel is the most uncomfortable way to travel and airlines are working to make it worse ...according to news reports. On board: Cramped in too tight especially for a 10 hour flight. You have to be athletic to eat from the tray table. Though only 5ft 8in, I had no knee room, -especially when the person in front lowered his seat. Airport terminals inconvenient: Frankfurt AM and Zurich were lacking in people movers which made getting from one gate to the next a severe pain. I am not looking forward to traveling through either of these airports in the future... though others are just as bad.

meals seemed good quality - I had forgotten to order a special meal to accommodate my food allergies so I brought my own food and didn't actually eat on the plane, but it looked & smelled good!
Points négatifs : There were too many announcements, especially in the first few hours of the flight - constant interruptions, at one point the pilot came on and told us how much the plane weighed when we took off...... had to tell us in multiple languages, so it took a few minutes. Very cramped in economy class - I'm 5'6" - not so tall.... and when the seat in front of me reclined, it was touching my knees. For the whole 13+ hour flight it was ON my knees! It was uncomfortable and made it very hard to get in and out of my seat.

Return Flight to USA
Points positifs : For our return flight home from Cyprus, though we went on line to select our seats as we had been told, we were not allowed to do so. We were 5 passengers in my family and were put on the very last seats. When we asked at the airport in Zurich if we could be switched to different seats they told us that we had to pay a significant amount per person to do so. Therefore there were extra seats available. The people were also not the friendliest.
Points négatifs : My experience with Swiss Air was poor from the very start. I purchased 5 tickets for this trip for my family. Our flight from USA to Cyprus on July 13 was cancelled. We had to take an extra day off from work and leave on July 12. Our flight back home from Cyprus July 28, was changed to 5:00am from 11:25am. Therefore we had to get a taxi at 2:00am for the airport. Instead of trying to make it up to us by giving us at least good seats, they punished us further and gave us the worst seats possible. That showed no curtesy whatsoever. Very disappointed:( I thought Swiss Air had higher standards than that.

Points positifs : Loved the food, the comfort, the movies and the staff. They took EXCELLENT care of my bike, which I traveled with, and they we traveled safely to Switzerland!
Points négatifs : Traveling with a bike was a bit unclear. I paid $90 for traveling with my bike, which was fine, I just wish it was more clear leading up to it cause I thought it would be $75.

I was so surprised to have all that lovely food and soft drinks available for no charge.. I plan to use Edelweiss again. I had to have a wheel chair and never had to wait for one. The persons pushing the chairs were very friendly and helpful and I was greatful to have themi.

La franchise bagages d’Edelweiss Air permet d’emporter avec soi, sur tous les vols, une valise en soute de 23 kg maximum pour l’Economy Class et l’Economy Max, deux sans dépasser 32 kg chacune pour la Business Class. Vous pouvez également prendre à bord un bagage cabine de 8 kg maximum au minimum, deux si vous êtes en Business Class, ainsi qu’un petit sac à main ou une sacoche.
