Points positifs: Bed was not easy to get into if higher bunk but it was very confortable.

Points positifs: The place was really nice, and would definitely recommend it.

Points négatifs: I was surprised to pay rent for a towel, as it could have been more transparent on what the additional costs would be. Not like it was a problem as the staff was really nice.

Points positifs: One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The location is great (Barrio Alto is Cool, youthful, full of clubs for the night!), Well connected with the center and with all the things to see. The structure is really nice, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable. The common area is well equipped with a kitchen, a TV and there are several computer stations that you can use. Bathrooms and showers always super clean. The staff is very courteous and always ready for any doubt, question or request. They immediately solved the problem of cold water in the shower as soon as I reported it. Good, diversified and abundant breakfast. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and an outdoor bar (but heated) where you can have a drink and smoke a cigarette for the nights you want to stay in the hostel.

Points négatifs: The locker in which I had to put my backpack was small and difficult to reach (wedged between two bunk bed ladders).

Points positifs: Excellent rapport qualité/prix, emplacement idéal, petit-déjeuner copieux, propreté au rendez-vous, décoration moderne. Je recommande fortement !

Points positifs: Really nice location, close to restaurants and bars, kind of 15 waking from a nice area of the river! The hostel building was nice too!

Points positifs: I like the classic style of the hostel and the building. The staff are nice and helpful.

Points négatifs: I didn’t like the shower the water is freezing and messy. The lift is not working and I’m on the top floor so i have to use stairs all the time. I didn’t like the breakfast not much choices only cold meats and cereals i wish there’s scrambled or poached eggs :(

Points positifs: I got a bad start in the beginning as the guy in the room refused me to stay and requested me to change. Luckily the staff is nice and managed to talk to him and swapped me to somewhere else. The breakfast is more than very good. I like the atmosphere in restaurant makes you feel good in the morning with a coffee. By mistake I lost my phone in the seating area and the staff is keeping that for me. There are so many memories inside. I really appreciate that. My room is facing the inner street which is quite and I do sleep well every night. I love the bed. So comfortable.

Points positifs: Everything was fine.. They booked a taxi for me for the morning of my departure with clear instructions to have one large enough for my packed up bicycle box. It worked out great so I appreciated that.

Points négatifs: I extended my stay after a couple of nights and I had left my bike helmet in the room when I had to move. Next day when I couldn't find it I asked at the desk if they had found it. The lady implied it may have been stolen so I went and bought a new one. Later that day I asked the night staff to look and it was in the office. I think the first person didn't know where to look or didn't bother to.

Points positifs: L'auberge de jeunesse est bien situé. Les espaces communs sont agréables. La cuisine est bien équipée et permet de se préparer à manger tous les jours et donc de réduire le coup du voyage.

Points négatifs: Très grande promiscuité dans les lits supérieurs dans les chambres de dix personnes, alors que les lits du bas sont séparés. Pas beaucoup de choix pour les personnes vegans dans le petit déjeuner.

Points positifs: L'extérieur, les endroits pour se poser , le petit-déjeuner, la proximité des commerces et transports en communs.

Points négatifs: Beaucoup de bruits surtout avec un dortoir qui donne sur le hall de passage pour aller aux étages. Les personnes qui arrivent tard ou partent très tôt ne respectent pas forcement.

Points positifs: Staff was super nice. Wifi was great for how many ppl were there. Shower is clean and hot. It's a busy place. I got there mid-renovations. Not the best timing, if you show up a week after this review you'll probably be happier than if you came this week!

Points négatifs: The lowest priced hostel gets its share of the lowest price ppl! I've stayed in lots of hostels, i think all of the bazziar ppl of the world ended up in this dorm on the same two night. -The drunk old man bothering ppl then protesting his expulsion from the room by sitting up in bed farting for 3hrs. -The Russian guy who couldn't sleep & instead enjoyed a 2am movie with no headphones (eventually his friend stopped him). -The high dude who one hour later thought a 3am phone call from bed was appropriate. (I told him to go outside after minute 4, magically the phone call ended.) -The 2" piece of wood that separated my bunk from the guy next to mine who fell asleep to internet porn with headphones on, unconcerned that we could still hear him enjoying the show. Bazaar sleepless nights. Full moon maybe? I can't make this stuff up! Hostel itself was good though :)

Points positifs: Central à proximité de l'avenue de la Liberdade ,des restaurant,cafés ,de la gare du Rossio, du Coliseu, du métro Restauradores. Une jolie chambre au calme donnant sur jardin.L'accueil souriant et efficace de David .

Points négatifs: Un escalier de 2 étages à monter avant d'accéder à l'hôtel.Dès le 2ème jour des travaux ont empêché l'accès au salon réception et les douches du 1er étage sales et glissantes qui ont été fermées toute une matinée sans avertissement ni explication.Deux personnes sur 4 à la réception étaient à peine polies et peu efficaces.Les parties communes n'étaient pas chauffées .

Points positifs: Clean facilities and friendly staff. Nice kitchen with free bread. Good location too (apart from the steep hill haha)

Points négatifs: Sounds odd, but the bunk beds were quite difficult to climb up on to the top. The ladders were really narrow. Other than that, it was a good stay

Points négatifs: too noisy to sleep well. Some guys, from where you guess, always play musics and have video calls in the evening when you sleep!

Points positifs: Nice and clean rooms. The staff was always kind and you really feel comfortable

Points négatifs: Everything else. It was dirty. I had a top bunk and there was no ladder to get up there. The bed faced the open window to the common room (separated by only a curtain), and people talked in there at full volume until 2 or 3am. It was impossible to actually sleep there. Would not recommend.

Points positifs: Hostel is centrally located and close to major tourist sights. Well connected with tram and metro. Rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. Staff is really accomodating and helps a lot.

Points négatifs: Breakfast was a bit expensive for the options offered. You have to climb up a hill to reach the hostel which is uncomfortable with luggage.

Points négatifs: L’odeur de l’établissement est équeutante, douche pas propre, toilette femme propre mais une odeur de pipi qui ne disparaît jamais. Parquets qui grince comme pas possible

Points positifs: Grande chambre , le bar , l'ambiance, la gentillesse du personel et l'emplacement.

Points positifs: Le personnel était gentil et serviable. La chambre et les matelas étaient confortables. L’eau chaude dans la douche et la chaleur des calorifères et les grandes fenêtres dans la chambre. Belle vue sur la terrasse avec des arbres et on entend gazouiller les oiseaux. Le petit déjeuner est bien et pas cher. C’était tranquille et amical et relaxe.

Points négatifs: Je n’ai pas vu les enseignes pour les sorties de feu. On pourrait améliorer le salon avec un peu plus de Section privée entre le comptoir de réception et le salon et le bar. C’est tout ouvert et tout le monde peut entendre au sujet des renseignements personnels et confidentiels. Un tapis près des douches seraient bien. Les miroirs sont trop hauts pour les femmes qui mesurent moins de 5 ou et demi dans la chambre de toilette des femmes et quelques grands crochets et quelque chose pour mettre nos choses dans la chambre de bain.

Points positifs: Family Vibe, cheap and well located hostel! Samir and Roma were amazing ...I recommended!

Points positifs: The location is fantastic and on arrival the staff went above an beyond even carrying our suitcases up the 4 flights of stairs. However, this is where the positives ended.

Points négatifs: The room was neat and tidy, however the sheets looked stained, the towels were old and the whitewash on the walls came off on your clothes if you brushed against it. The bathroom options were all very run down with the toilet and shower doors not even able to give privacy. The shower was mouldy and it seems like providing toilet paper is optional as it wasn’t replenished (though we also discovered this elsewhere in Lisbon), as two nights in a row it had run out by 10.00pm Our double room was separated from the next dorm room only by old thin double doors meaning talking (and Netflix) in the other room seemed like they were in the room with us (till at least 3am when we knocked on their door and it stopped.) These same neighbours smoked marijuana all night long and it filled our room too. In the end we forfeited our 3rd paid night and moved to an AirBnB because we couldn’t take the conditions for another night.

Points négatifs: L'établissement n'est pas propre,.tout est en très mauvais état et les toilettes sont insalubres, je ne conseille vraiment pas.

Points positifs: Hôtel calme et très bien situé par rapport au centre ville .

Points négatifs: un rafraîchissement au niveau de la chambre et surtout des sanitaires.

Points négatifs: Very upset of this hostel, the worst i tried ! The room with 4 bed is not even private its shared Lot of noises and bad smell... Try another one if you can

Points positifs: L'emplacement est parfait.

Points négatifs: Attention l'accueil SE FAIT AVANT MINUIT. Nous avons envoyé un mail car nous arrivions après minuit de l'aéroport, nous n'avons eu aucune réponse, et failli passer la nuit dehors.... Les locaux sont propres mais completement a l'arrache, ne pas s'attendre au grand luxe mais plutot a une grande colocation étudiante.

Points positifs: Great location, called “Bairro Alto”, means it’s in a higher village, there are food restaurants and bar, some stores close and you can take Uber or taxi easily.

Points négatifs: It’s a underground build, nice to every ages, but there is no elevator .. some times too dark

Points négatifs: Nous avions des questions et n'avons pu joindre personne ni par mail ni par téléphone, alerte arnaque! Je pense que cet hotel n'existe plus!
