Points positifs: The hotel was one of the best ones we stayed in. The staff were extremely professional and helpful, even upgraded us to a better room. Breakfast was very good and varied, you could even help yourself to a glass of bubbly in the morning breakfast! The room was super quiet and bed very well comfortable and large. The hotel is based in the best location, as you are 1min away from metro station and 5min walk from train station that has trains to Sintra, if you are up for it. Extremely happy with our choice. Thank you all!

Points positifs: This is an old and remodel hotel in the center of Baixa district in Lisbon. The hotel is near many attractions, The room was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom sparkling clean. The staff very friendly and helpful giving us a very good service in recommending restaurants, or Fado restaurant. Breakfast was rich having good pastries, juices, cheese, eggs, yogurt etc...

Points négatifs: VOUS!!! je me sers de votre plateforme environ e 5 à 15 fois par an selon les années, mais j'avais réservé 2 chambres car des amis venairent de Barcelone nous avons réglé 816 euros pour 3 nuits avec petit déjeuner et j'ai d'autres amis qui ont souhaité venir aussi et qui ont réservé aux mêmes dates pour 360 euros directement mêmes prestations!!! soit 96 euros de plus pour les 2 chambres!! ça fait plaisir de voir que les tarifs sont plus chers quand on passe par vous!!! conclusion: quel intérêt de passer par vous??? surtout que je suis en retraite dans 2 mois et que je compte voyager plus! cela me servira de leçon je ne passerait plus par vous dorénavant!!

Points négatifs: This could be a wonderful hotel, but no one told us or write that the Metro passes just under the hotel, and when it does, the noise is tremendous on ground floor, and we were on the 3 floor, and every some minutes we could hear and feel the vibrations of the Metro and this is specially annoying at night when the city is silent. To be fair, we got use to it and at the second and third day we heard it less.

Points négatifs: We had an issue with the bathroom door. The mechanism was broken and so one of us got locked into the bathroom. Maintenance was on sight immediately and was prompt about fixing the situation.

Points négatifs: The possibility to take the taxi to the airport for 18 euro is rip-off. We asked the hotel if 18 euro is the regular price for this trip or not and we were told that this fixed price is absolutely the normal price. So we trusted in the judgement and paid more than twice as much as it would have cost according to the taximeter! That was really a pity because we really enjoyed the stay but in the end we felt a little bit cheated.

Points négatifs: Boosted my room rate for one night to quadruple the ongoing rate, during the Web conference in Lisbon. I was not there for the Web event. I stayed 5 days and had to pay quadruple the rate and management did not make any accomodation. Handicapped shower flooded in the spa each time I used it. Spa was unattended with no information on the facilities. No dressing room to speak of in the spa. Breakfast was great but the dinner menu and costs were exorbitant

Points négatifs: The parking garage.Only 4 places.Almost impossible to get one and in there is no parking near by.They said you must reserve but they don’t keep the place for you.And to get to the hotel,you need a code for the street and they don’t give it to you in advance so you have to wait in the middle of a narrow street with angry drivers behind you.Not funny at all.

I firstly got allocated a basement room with ensuite and kitchenette in the next door building with a small window to an airshaft(shared with a fado restaurant which is open til midnight ). Due to a nauseating insecticide being used just prior to my arrival causing breathing difficulties I was moved to the guesthouse itself to a brighter, larger room with ensuite. As I didn't need the kitchenette I saw this as an improvement. The 28 tram hurtles by from about 6am to 11pm...this less annoying than other guests slamming doors and hearing them use the shared toilet and bathroom next door!

The guest house met our expectation. The break-fast was tasty and good and we believe, most of the items are freshly prepared by the guest house staff.

All the receptionists and staffs provides great hospitality, they are very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. The hotel provides almost every facilities. Small supermarkets in 3 min walk if you want to buy smth. The room was clean. We travelled with my best friend so during check in I asked about the room with 2 beds and for nice view. We have got, what we asked for. The breakfast is okay, not to much choice but everything is fresh, nice choice if fruits. The staff was very hardworking, tables are always clean.The rooftop is a pearl of the hotel. You will see the beautiful buildings, listen to nice music and drink drinks with affordable price. In total I would advice it. The metro is just 2 min walk, Rossio station is 5 min walk if you need to take train to Sintra or any city closed to Lisboa. Enjoy.

Small supermarkets in 3 min walk if you want to buy smth. The room was clean. We travelled with my best friend so during check in I asked about the room with 2 beds and for nice view. We have got, what we asked for. The breakfast is okay, not to much choice but everything is fresh, nice choice if fruits. The staff was very hardworking, tables are always clean.The rooftop is a pearl of the hotel. You will see the beautiful buildings, listen to nice music and drink drinks with affordable price. In total I would advice it. The metro is just 2 min walk, Rossio station is 5 min walk if you need to take train to Sintra or any city closed to Lisboa. Enjoy.
Points négatifs: There is no iron in the room. When I asked for it, I was told that for now all of them are busy. So I was told that due to this the hotel staff will iron it for me, so I agreed. Nobody told me that it will counted as the laundry service. So while check out I was asked to pay. I refused and explained the situation, so in the end I didn’t pay. There no kettle in the room, no slippers.

Points négatifs: J'ai tout apprécié dans cet hôtel et je suis difficile à 64 ans, ancien dirigeant qui a beaucoup voyagé. Ce que je n'ai pas apprécié: Il a plu pendant 2 jours. Mais j'en ai profité pour prendre le tram 28, visiter des musées et quand le soleil a été là, nous avons marché dans Lisbonne. L'hôtel est exceptionnel surtout à ce prix là.

Cet établissement est relativement proche du centre ville de Lisbonne. (une vingtaine de minutes à pied) ce qui est appréciable si l'on ne veut pas utiliser sa voiture. Un parking à 7€ les 24h ne se trouve d'ailleurs pas très loin. Parfait pour quelques jours.

Points négatifs: This an historical building that was recovered, but the original floor and doors were kept. This ties the decoration together nicely, but has the disadvantage that the floor and stairs creak when walked on, and the doors creak when oppened. To those who have a light sleep, this may be a concern. There is also lack of safe storage. There is a locker cabinet, but they are way too small (couldn't fit a backpack), and you have to bring your own padlock. And even so, the padlock would go on a rather fragile sort of cabinet hook latch. Not confidence inspiring at all.
