Points négatifs : Would have helped if we were provided with rental car. When we got to thrifty to pickup our reservation, it was closed down, the sign outside said to go across the street to hertz for pickup. We went across to Hertz and they said they don’t have any car available. What’s the point of having reservations. It would have been helpful if they had informed us earlier so we wouldn’t have to cancel our trip. When I called to get the refund they are refusing. Very disappointed. I don’t think I’ll ever use kayak or any third party for reservation ever again.
Points négatifs : You did not have the car I reserved at the time of my reservation. Staff was horrible picking up the car. She did not care that it put us in a bad position and wanted us to just leave and find another agency. If we hadn’t spotted the other small suv, we would have been in an even worse spot. My things didn’t even fit in the new smaller suv versus mini van I had rented.

Points négatifs : I booked a car and when I arrived the woman told me you had no cars available. I booked an Uber to get to the airport and then had to book an Uber home. You should NOT book people if you do not have cars available. Also the woman working was not helpful and had an attitude. I’m never going here again and posted a long rant on my social media outlets letting people know and of course I got comments about similar experiences.

Points positifs : The shuttle took over 45 minutes to arrive at the terminal It then took me 3 hours in line to pick up my vehicle. The HOU airport office was critically understaffed. They tried to push for me to upgrade my vehicle and add insurance, even though I had previously bought it.
Points négatifs : Pickup was at Hertz, not Thrify. That confusion led to a delay. There was only a single woman attendant when I picked up the car. Had to wait for a significant period while she attended a walk-in. She provided poor instructions on where to pickup the car, which led to another delay and confusion. The compacts were not visible anywhere in the lot, so I picked the smallest car hoping for the best, i.e. not charged for picking the wrong size. Dropoff was even worse. I was told after the fact I had to dropoff at Hertz. The attendant in the lot I pulled into erroneously would not let me drive the vehicle to the correct lot for dropoff. I notified the attendant at Hertz and she appeared horrified and unable to clear my account because the car was in the wrong lot. It was confusion and a mess from start to finish because not once was I attended by a rep from the company I had rented the vehicle from, i.e. Thrifty. Furthermore, the car was unwashed and some of the garbage had not been cleared out by the previous renter/driver. My observations should be an embarrasment to your company.
