Points négatifs : During kayak booking process, I booked a car from Logan airport (this was confirmed on my kayak app after check out). Then, when confirmation email came through, my car was actually reserved in Lynn MA (a 30 minute drive away). The entirely wrong location was booked.
Points positifs : I did not end up renting the car as it was booked at the wrong location.
Points négatifs : The car was booked at the wrong location. My kayak confirmation was for a car from Boston Logan Airport, but the car was actually booked in Lynn, MA so I had to cancel the reservation and rebook directly with the rental car company.

Points négatifs : We had a family Medical Emergency (father had to be airlifted from Marthas Vineyard Hospital to Boston for emergency surgery) and had to drop off our rental car at Oak Bluffs Marthas Vineyard instead of Hyanis Port. Called Corporate and they still charged me $500+ for the changed location fee.
Unexceptable in my book to charge this fee for a family emergency......

Points positifs : First car smelled strongly of marijuana. Second car was given to me very quickly, was bigger, and was very clean

Points négatifs : The entire experience. The location is a mechanic and the Budget sign is extremely small you can’t even see it. Also, there is no organization and the lot is very small with too many cars! You have to remove 1 car and then go find parking for it on the street and then get the car you rented out. Way too much chaos.
Points négatifs : waited in line for 1.5 hours for pick up. Only two people working. When I got to the counter the clerk was incredibly quick and apologetic for the wait but there should have been more people on staff to help.

Points négatifs : The pick up at Logan airport took about 45 minutes. The signage did not reflect changes in locations and procedures due to COVID, so it was difficult to figure out where to go and what to do.

Points négatifs : The vehicle was gross! It said cleans and disinfected but it was not. The car smelled like cigarettes and had food crusted on the center console. In these times cleanliness is paramount.
