Points positifs: Everything you could ever want in a luxury hotel is on display here at Windsor Court. Rooms are well decorated, beds are over the top comfortable, every member of staff was very very helpful and cordial. Richard at check in, Marissa, Alyx, Kim and Paul in the Club were a few to mention but everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you. Location is perfect-coveniant to everything. This is THE place to stay when visiting NOLA!!

Points négatifs: Whoever stayed in the room before me. Drank 2 bottles of while and then left the bottles in the bar. I brought it to the attention of the front seat and they said they would take care of it. And I also brought it to the attention of house keeping. At the end of my stay, you guessed it I got charged for the 2 bottles. Also I requested ice 4 times and never got any.

Points positifs: Small Cozy Different
Points négatifs: The smells weren’t good in two occasions but they were gone rapidly
9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: Loved everything. Not one single complaint. Rooms were well appointed. Comfy beds. I will definitely returnto this hotel. Beautiful public spaces, bar soon to open French bistro, beautiful courtyard and cool library room with nice sofas to lounge or work.
Points négatifs: The only slight issue was that I had a ground floor room and my window faced an alley; so lots of weekend noise. Choosing a room on an upper floor may help.
8,5 Excellent
Points positifs: New was very comfortable. Hotel was in a great location. Staff was very helpful
6,8 Bien
Points positifs: The hotel is really chic and has a cool vibe. The location is perfect.
Points négatifs: Beware that there are rooms that have no windows to the outside! My husband and I booked a king room with city views, but were notified on arrival that we had been "upgraded" to a king suite because we were celebrating our anniversary. When we got to our room, we realized in horror that the only window was a small window to the busy interior hallway. The idea of staying in that essentially windowless room was unbearable to me, and we asked to be transferred to any room with a window. We were transferred to a beautiful room the next day, but I would never have even booked the hotel had I known that we would spend the first night without natural light. It also felt disingenuous to call it an upgrade. The staff was also nice enough, but not the most competent.

Points positifs: Perfect! We moved here from another hotel down re street that was proved double and we couldn't be happier. This place is so nice, breakfast and dinner, great location, rooms and staff! Will definitely stay again.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Overall this hotel was fantastic. The staff was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. My husband and I were traveling with four children (ages 8,7,6, and 2) and the value was amazing. I never review anything online but the experience was so good I felt it necessary this time. The fact that there were drinks and popcorn in the lobby the entire time was awesome especially with kids. Breakfast was awesome and offered SO much more than normal hotels do. Plus the "kickback" at 5:30 was our dinner each night. I know for some it might not be their ideal dinner if they are on vacation but traveling with the kids we didn't want to have to go out and the "kickback" offered enough options for everyone to have a full meal. We don't really drink but if you add breakfast, dinner, popcorn as a snack, unlimited soft drinks, and the 3 free "alcoholic beverages" up the value was amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and comfortable also. Just a great stay all around.
Points négatifs: The only complaint I had was that we had pre-paid for the room and when we got there they asked for the card we had used to book the room so they could swipe it. Then when we were checking out I went to check out and pay for the valet ($25 a day and the only option so budget for that as well) and they said it had already been charged to my card. I had no intention of paying for the valet on that card so it bothered me that they charged it and hadn't told us that they were doing it. I do believe that it was a simple misunderstanding though and not dishonest or anything.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The front desk staff was amazing and very kind. Really enjoyed my stay and I will consider staying again when I'm in NOL
Points négatifs: Nothing. It was great!

Points positifs: La piscine est très agréable. Notre chambre était fantastique !
9,4 Excellent
Points positifs: The hotel was beautiful, room was comfortable, staff was wonderful
Points négatifs: Our only complaints were that the tv didn't always work very well. It would cut out for no apparent reason and sometimes just stop working. We also felt that the movie rentals were absurdly expensive. I've never had a hotel charge $19 for almost every movie available.
8,5 Excellent
Points positifs: The building is beautiful and there are great bars/restaurants in the lobby. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
Points négatifs: The bathroom was a bit disappointing for a luxury hotel. Also, the spa was disappointing.

9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: Location of this unique hotel was second to none. Hotel was well presented. Decor in keeping with its location. The room was very clean and well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. No breakfast available but understandable due to location and design. But its no problem as many many local eateries. With its amazing value for price its my only choice for future.
Points négatifs: Nothing really.
9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: I wanted an authentic New Orleans French market experience and that's exactly what I got at the French market inn. Everything was perfect. It was historical, right across the street from the Riverwalk, two blocks down from Bourbon Street, Clean, safe, right across the street from Cafe Du Monde. We decided that we would stay here every time we came to New Orleans.
Points négatifs: It was nothing that I didn't like. I'm used to stay and four star hotels so I had to adjust to the boutique feel of the room, but I bet it was comfortable and the atmosphere was authentic and great.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: We were super close to Bourbon St but never heard it- which was great! We had an interior room with no windows which I was a little apprehensive about booking at first but it proved to be the best idea ever! After getting in to town early in the morning and wandering around a lot, it was great to ha e a quiet, dark room for an afternoon nap. New Orleans is always busy and there are always people out on the streets at all hours- I highly recommend the windowless rooms for peace and quiet when it's time to get away:)
8,2 Excellent
Points positifs: For the price, the inn provides access to the French Quarter, into which I went for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and nightlife. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and eager to help. The room and inn have that French Quarter feel (e.g., courtyard, exposed brick, tall windows). The room was comfortable except for one point. The shower was glass, not a curtain, and was nice for such an inexpensive room. My friends who stayed at the same conference were jealous that I was staying in classier accommodations than they for the same or less!
Points négatifs: My room on the first floor had no weather strip on the bottom of the door and suffered a draft. Once plugged with a spare blanket, however, the room was cozy. Also, the electrical cords for the television were rather lazily slung over the TV itself. It looked shabby.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The hotel is right at the base of the French Quarter. If you plan to stay in the Quarter, this is a great option.
Points négatifs: Noise and parking. During a busy time, self park will be almost impossible. We valeted in order to avoid searching for a space.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The location was absolutely perfect: within a few short blocks to all the fun. But the location also provided much needed quiet at night. The facilities were clean and absolutely beautiful. I will absolutely stay here again and will tell everyone about this gem!
8,2 Excellent
Points positifs: I really enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the historic feel of the room with brick walls. I was skeptical at first about renting a room with no windows, but it exceeded my expectations and wasn't as sketchy as imagined. There were plenty of lamps to substitute the natural lighting. The staff was very friendly. They greeted everyone who passed through the lobby with a smile and were helpful with suggesting local places to eat. Great location for the french quarter experience.
Points négatifs: I felt as if the carpet in my room had not been cleaned or vacuumed before my stay. There was obvious staining and debris visible. I am glad I brought slippers. It seems as if the cleaning of the rooms could be more detailed as there were trash under/behind the dresser and side table.
9,4 Excellent
Points positifs: The hotel was amazing. I went through Kayak and found this hotel with great reviews and $100 under our budget! When we walked in, the lobby was cute, perfectly decorated, and had the New Orleans feel we were looking for *cough*we're tourist*cough*. We were greeted by Lonny the bellman, who wouldn't let us lift a finger with our bags. He even gave us some free wine vouchers for a near by café. Check in was standard with no wait time and a friendly front desk staff. There is a small pool and patio area if you wanted to take a quick dip (by small pool, it is incredibly small, but still nice to have as an option). This hotel is cute, clean, and has the New Orleans experience with just a quick walk to Bourbon St, Café Du Monde, amazing shops in the French Quarter.
Points négatifs: Since we were driving from across country, we had an entire SUV packed with professional camera equipment, expensive camping gear, and pretty healthy supply of clothes etc. We were concerned about street parking and were told that if we valet our car with the hotel, it would be in a garage, 24 hour surveillance, and returned to us in the exact same condition we left it in. We thought "it's only $15 more than parking across the street, and we will have piece of mind" so we went with the valet. We remove our luggage for the night, brought in the camera gear (thank god) and carried on with our New Orleans experience as they drove our car off to the garage. Being a typical girl, I realized I left something in the car and asked the front desk if I could either walk to the car or have it brought around. She gave me quick directions and I headed to the parking garage. When I approached the booth in the garage, the gentlemen working pointed to the pay lot across the street, and handed me the keys. I was confused because it was just a $20 over night pay lot that we could have easily used instead of paying $15 more for the "garage" we were told our car would be in. I grabbed my items, double checked all the doors were locked, and took the keys back to the employees in the booth. When I got back to the hotel, I told my boyfriend about the differences in what we were told we were getting and what we actually got as far as parking went. We both agreed that there must be some reason for it and that the garage was full or they would move the car at some point. 8AM: Our hotel phone rings. The supervisor of the parking garage was calling to let us know he was ready to take our car to the shop to have the windows replaced. You can imagine our confusion, seeing as we had gone to bed late and had partaken in what New Orleans had to offer, IE we were hung over and had no idea what was going on. We get dressed and head down to meet with the garage supervisor who informed us that between 3-5am the driver's and passenger side windows had been broken and it looked like items were removed from the car. We head over and look over everything. Sure enough, it was in the same spot it had been the night before, sans two windows. It only looked like some center console change and our GPS had been taken(which was in a locked glove box). The parking garage paid for everything to be replaced that had been taken, and replaced the windows. Our plan was to leave at 12pm after some beignets from Café Du Monde, but ended up having to stay until 6pm waiting for the car to be fixed. Of course our room and valet charges were comped, and the staff acted accordingly, it was just an unfortunate situation that could have been avoided if the front desk had the real information regarding where their guests' vehicles were actually parked. Take what you will from this. Be it, sh*t happens and you move on, or it was a nice stay, something bad happened, and the hotel did the best they could.

7,1 Bien
Points positifs: The lobby was very inviting. I loved the courtyard. The location was great.
Points négatifs: We arrived at 1030 and had to wait until 1600 for a room to be open. When we were able to go to the room, we noticed it was not very clean. There was trash from the previous occupants laying around the bed. We stayed two nights and on the second day after housekeeping made our beds, they did not leave any new soap or towels and left their cleaning supplies in our bathroom. The first night was quiet, but the second night there were guests yelling and running down our hall at all hours of the night. Id prefer they would have gone back to Bourbon street to do that.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Staff was great. Location was excellent. I didn't use the pool myself but Courtyard and pool looked relaxing. Families were enjoying the area.
8,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The staff was very attentive. The front desk clerk, Jenn, was very helpful and went that extra mile to ensure we had a plan for our first night in NOLA and found us good bargains for the rest of our time here. The room was large and clean, which should be no surprise. The bed was nice and soft, a perfect way to end a long day of sightseeing. The restaurant was also fun and cuisine and wait staff were fantastic, especially the purple haired server whose name escapes me; she was super helpful and cheery.
Points négatifs: The bathroom looked like something you find in a Motel 6. It wasn't terrible, just very basic. But, it did the job. The walls are a little thin, so it seemed like we were part of the party that was happening a few doors down. Parking is very expensive; about $25 a day.
8,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The location was awesome, we were able to walk to anywhere in the French Quarter with no problem. The security staff were very nice.
Points négatifs: I did not like was how the bathroom in our room did not have a proper door. The door was a closet-stlye door with slats. Also, during our stay there was a heavy rainstorm that crippled the hotel staff with flooding in the lobby area and restaurant. We wanted breakfast, but the staff seemed quite flustered and did not want to seat us in the restaurant, even though the rain had ended.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: We came to town to celebrate for my birthday and upon check in we were told we were receiving a free upgrade to a mini suite. The room was nice, the staff was helpful. I'd stay here again.
Points négatifs: It seemed a theme throughout New Orleans that the entire city is getting a face lift, our hotel included. Didn't ruin my stay or really bug me all that much, but there were people painting right outside our window early in the morning

9,1 Excellent
Points positifs: This was a hotel we had never stayed at before and I took a chance and it paid off. The hotel was updated, clean and very modern.
Points négatifs: The location is on Canal but at the other end of Canal, so unless ur an avoid walker take an Uber or Lyft.
8,5 Excellent
Points positifs: The hotel was newly renovated with large open spaces and modern finishes. The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating for both a business traveler and a leisure trip.
Points négatifs: While the hotel is new & modern with open spaces and large rooms it seems to be lacking warmth. For example the lights in the rooms were VERY BRIGHT with no dim levels, the floors are completely tile - no carpet or rugs so the room felt stark. Similar feel in the common spaces - for example the bar wasn’t open during the afternoon (IN NEW ORLEANS) and it seems the bar was the only popular space in the lobby area. The overall aesthetics are pleasing but something is just lacking. The management should really figure it out because the space is too nice not to be enjoyed by a high end clientele.

I'd absolutely bring bikes if you have the means, makes the city a lot more accessible and reduces transportation issues. - Pool - Staff was awesome, very accommodating even at the last minute - it's clear that they all like their jobs - Stored our bikes in the room downstairs so they didn't take up space in the smaller room and the doormen were always available to open it up for us. Before we found this out they kept our car in a gated lot close by to make sure our bikes were safe on the car.
Points négatifs: - Free drinks at bar are slightly misleading... Not a total scam but just make sure you want well liquor and add up the cost prior to making it a double with "premium" liquor. - Valet can be slow but they did give a heads up that it would take 40 minutes at some times. - Depending on where you are in the hotel you may have a way to walk down the halls to your room but this isn't really a big deal. - Truly not that bad - if I HAD to pick bad things this is what I remember but I would absolutely stay there again.

Points positifs: I loved the location of the hotel the staff was courteous and friendly. The in hotel restaurant had good food but was a bit pricey. Our room was clean, I am a picky person so it met my standards.
Points négatifs: I thought some areas could have had better house keeping. Large dust bunnies were all over the floor near the stairs. The main area that was traveled by the guests were kept cleaner. But most importantly I didn't like that they permitted a drunken homeless person to sleep outside of the hotel doors, not a good first impression for many guests.
9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: i stayed here with a group of 9 women. This hotel was in the very best location to walk everywhere that we wanted to go in the French Quarter. It was a really great price and i would definitely stay there again, group or individually. Having traveled to NOLA many times and stayed at many similar hotels, this was the easiest, cleanest, and best value by far.

Points positifs: Beautiful hotel with friendly, efficient staff. If you want to stay in the heart of Bourbon Street this hotel is it. Upgrade to Balcony suite for a perfect stay.
Points négatifs: Everything was great.

Points positifs: Right by Bourbon St room was clean and nicely appointed great central courtyard with pool
Points négatifs: Location makes it noisy rooms on one side were noisy to a non-stop generator terrible pillows no room service uninformed staff (front desk not aware there was no room service, housekeeping not clear whether feather pillows existed... isn't this a basic requirement in most hotels? plastic mattress cover - I guess too many people enjoy the party atmosphere too much & they have mattress issues!

Points positifs: Everything. The people working the desk when we checked in around 10pm were exceptional employees.
Points négatifs: N/a
9,4 Excellent
Points positifs: Staying on the corner of Bourbon Street and Orleans St was perfect. The staff was very friendly, including valet and bellman. We didn't ask for much, but we were given a lot. The free drink at check in certainly didn't hurt! I also really liked the beautiful area in front of check in. It reminded me if a formal living room, and any time I stopped to sit in there I met other guests. It was just so homey.
Points négatifs: I didn't like the parking fee. I booked through Trip Advisor and it said parking, but nothing about the extra fee. I think it was more the surprise of it that kind of bothered me. Also, I'm not certain the air was working. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cool either. That said, we never mentioned it to the staff, given we were only in the room to sleep, so I think they would have fixed it or moved us had they known.

Points positifs: location is great
Points négatifs: Thought the staff at the front desk could have been nicer. They didn't even say thank you for staying when I checked out.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: I can't even put into words just how amazing the staff were. Every single person I met was so friendly and accommodating. Even going as far as making me a make shift shower chair due to my ankle being broken and needing assistance. Every need was met and then some!
Points négatifs: The ONLY issue we had was the sensitivity of the room keys. We had to have them remagnetized every day sometimes numerous times in a day.
9,4 Excellent
Points positifs: Really enjoyed the Historic aspect of the Hotel. Very opulent, and had wonderful informative signs regarding various history of the building. Staff is really good, polite, and helpful.
5,7 Correct
Points positifs: The room was giant
Points négatifs: The place was shabby, even the uniforms were cheap. The hotel bar closed at 12:30, the room service was from like 4-10 and was provided by a third party, in the morning I called for a sprit and it took FOREVER for it come. I paid 450 for that room. I should have been at the Four Seasons level.

Points positifs: Great location for Mardi Gras parade watching and partying on Bourbon St. Just blocks away from Canal St. and St. Charles street car lines. 10-15min walk to the French Quarter. The room and hotel was very clean and staff friendly. The free continental breakfast was good for saving a few bucks but it's not the best.
Points négatifs: Sofa sleeper was awful, mattress was very uncomfortable! King bed was nice and big but the mattress was nothing to brag about!
8,5 Excellent
Points positifs: Room comfort and amenities in the room.
Points négatifs: Water pressure/shower only no tub in room Only 2 elevators were working at one point which was awful but eventually repaired. Poor lighting near full length mirror near entry door. No light there to use mirror.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The hotel does not look that inviting from the outside but the interior of the hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. The hotel requires guests to use their room key to get to their rooms for added security. The customer service is excellent! I would stay in a Hampton Inn Hotel again.
Points négatifs: There wasn't anything about this hotel I did not like.
5,7 Correct
Points positifs: The daily breakfast was well stocked and the hotel was clean.
Points négatifs: The water pressure in the shower was pretty poor I was staying near the top floor, so it is possible it is better on the lower floors. The elevators were poorly maintained and did not run very well. When I made my reservation over 3 months ago, I requested one king bed and when I checked in, they had no king beds available and we were given a room with 2 double beds. The walls are very thin and every morning we were woken up to our neighbors talking and getting ready for their day.

Points négatifs: Pas grand chose. Pas d'aide pour porter nos bagages.

Points positifs: The location is excellent
Points négatifs: I thought the hotel looked a bit run down, not a 5 star hotel.. I did not like the fact that there was no complimentary coffee or news papers The coffee was available in the gift shop for $3.00+ / cup. Not acceptable for a supposed top flight hotel, Forget trying to get a seat at the famous Carousel bar, but it was the first weekend of Jazz Fest.
9,1 Excellent
Points positifs: Friendly doormen, bellman, front desk. Love the gracious old hotel. Criollo's Restaurant had excellent food and service. One could not ask for a better location as a base of operations for leisurely tour of French Quarter.
Points négatifs: While I don't think most rooms fit this category, we happened to get a very small room with window looking across a dark alley. Room could not have been more than 12' square, with king and furniture closet, one could not help but feel a bit claustrophobic. Be sure to ask for room with street facing widows. Housekeeping kept forgetting essentials - like TP. Had to call to request and then wait 15 min for delivery. Otherwise, excellent experience.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Hotel Monteleone is beautiful and the perfect location, but even during Mardi Gras season it was a very quite hotel. Not the perfect place to stay if you're more looking for fun, but a great place for a romantic getaway or for business. Fantastic staff.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Gorgeous hotel with tons of history. Fairly priced and it's in the perfect location- close to everything, bourbon street, jackson square, casino, etc. Will be staying again!
7,7 Bien
Points positifs: Great location within the French Quarter. Very beautiful hotel and nice staff.
Points négatifs: When we checked in they told us our room had no windows and offered us 2 drink vouchers and the opportunity to "upgrade" for $100 a night. We did upgrade and got windows looking straight into parking garage. Crazy bar scene off the lobby.
6,2 Bien
Points positifs: The hotel and staff are beautiful and amazing. But when we got to our room it was fairly warm. We called down to the concierge and asked that someone come look into the issue. We left for the afternoon and when we returned there was a note sarying someone had come to fix the problem. Two additional requests later and it was still around 80 in our room. Staff didn't even call to see if we were satisfied (after 3 requests). Difficult to sleep and not enjoyable.
Points négatifs: See above.
9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: The location is right in the heart of the French Quarter just a block off Bourbon Street and on the classier Royal Street. The décor is beautiful. The rooms are small but nicely decorated. The drapes were incredible. The cafe are the hotel was very good for breakfast with beignets as good, if not better than Cafe du Monde without the crowds.
Points négatifs: The walls were fairly thin so you could hear your neighbors. Also, nearly got high from the marijuana fumes seeing through the air system.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Location was great, room was nice and hotel was beautiful.
Points négatifs: They didn't tell us in advance we wouldn't have a window in our room. Also the bathroom was pretty small. There is just not much room to set anything down.
6,5 Bien
Points positifs: Love the location and the Carousel bar. Love the history and the feel of the hotel.
Points négatifs: Our room air was very loud and the shower sprayed water up into the ceiling light which could have caused harm to us.

6,0 Bien
Points positifs: The onsite restaurants were better than average and the hotel had great amenities- a larger-than-average health club with group fitness classes and racquetball courts, 2 pools and in-room dining. Housekeeping did a great job.
Points négatifs: The hotel is dated and could use some up-dating.
7,1 Bien
Points négatifs: I reserved a double with a view way in advance of the Conference to insure a room in the host hotel. Guaranteed per the reservation contract. No double available upon timely arrival. Prepaid over $600 for 2 night, wherein other conference attendees paid half the amount. 18th Floor, low water pressure. Mattress extremely hard. Weather was bad, so the hotel was convenient to access the Convention Center. This hotel deal was no deal at all for me. Seriously punitive foe me, though trying to take care of lodging way in advance. Over $600 for a single bed, 2 nights for a Regional Conference? Never again!
8,8 Excellent
Points positifs: As a HiltonHonors member I was able to choose my room prior to arrival and loved being able to use a digital key--I used my iPhone to unlock the hotel room door. The room was a nice size. Wifi worked well. It's a little away from the French Quarter but easily accessible by street car.
Points négatifs: Not having USB ports in the room to charge my devices--there were only outlets. The safe in the room was set high up on a shelf in the closet--hard for me to reach. Also, didn't have much of a view from my window. It was a long, sometimes hot, walk outside to and from the convention center.
8,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.
Points négatifs: For $300+/night, charging to use the health clubs seems a slap in the face. At the end of the day, I did not get much more than I would have for $120/night, and will look elsewhere in the future. Sure, the Riverside was the hotel of choice for the ACS meeting, yet I can walk, get to see a bit more of NOLA while doing so, pay much less money, and (in the end) pay much less for what I need -- a quite place to sleep.
6,2 Bien
Points positifs: Great location, although it is dominated by convention attendees. Very pricy, but the mall is close.
Points négatifs: Apparently the official policy of the Hotel is that if you are in your room when the maid comes by, you don't get your room serviced that day. That can happen as early as 10AM. The maid leaves a little card that requires you to call Housekeeping to get some service, maybe. The maid does not recheck your room, even though they are on the floor for several additional hours. I have never seen a policy like that before.

Points positifs: I loved that the hotel is in the center of everything & your backdoor literally is burbon street. This was a fantastic stay I would definitely come back. The hotel concerige was really helpful in helping us choose tours, also with recommending restaurants, all suggestions were a hit. We loved it!
8,0 Excellent
Points positifs: The location is great for events downtown. I like to walk, and the central location is nice. Staff was really friendly. We were there for a show at the Saenger which was just a couple blocks away. I would stay there again
Points négatifs: I didn't like the parking setup. I don't know where the garage was, and you have to stop right on the very busy Canal street and valet. It was pretty much a zoo in front of the hotel the whole time~ But again, the staff was helpful and friendly

6,0 Bien
Points positifs: Having no working remote control for the TV (who doesn't love bonding time), and no free lotion (ashy legs for the win!).
Points négatifs: There was a swingers convention going on at this hotel, which we were not made aware of, and were continuously cruised by older couples while simply trying to smoke cigarettes. We're not bored with our sex life just yet.
6,0 Bien
Points positifs: Hotel has outlets to the Canal and Bourbon streets so location wise it is perfect. We booked a Deluxe 2 Queen bed room which was spacious and tidy.
Points négatifs: Check in/Check out is troublesome and a lengthy process. We booked 2 nights through Cancelon on Kayak and reservation was confirmed as it was prepaid and non-refundable but the hotel declined to have received a reservation for 2nd day. Since I showed my reservation voucher they had to book me unwillingly not before questioning the authenticity of the third party and my booking price. I had to email them a copy of my reservation. Despite all of that, the keys stopped working the next day and I was told we were supposed to check out. I repeated the discussion with me sending the reservation pdf to the day staff this time. Finally checking out isn't easy and quick as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. The check in/check out line is common so you wait for your predecessor to realize he is only you two days ago sorting out his reservation problems to check in. I would probably think twice the next time before using a third party agent for my booking.
5,1 Correct
Points positifs: location
Points négatifs: maid service. Had to call to get room cleaned by night staff after returning first day. Had to hunt down someone for toilet paper (was not stocked when we checked in).
6,5 Bien
Points positifs: The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. Room was ok, nothing extravagant but hey it was great for the price.
Points négatifs: We stayed on the 2nd floor and could hear every street performer and roundy group on burbon street. Just a warning if they try to put you lower than the 5th floor and you are a light sleeper I’d say move up some floors. The worst was the over priced parking! It was $49 per night and it’s not clearly marked. The valet stand was always smoking in front of the hotel so the lobby had a faint cigarette smell.
10,0 Excellent
Points positifs: Very clean and friendly staff! Will stay again!
Points négatifs: No notice of how much valet parking was until after payment was sent and was fine print! No mini fridge in rooms!

Points négatifs: That we couldn't stay longer this time.

Points positifs: I will say that my first impression of the hotel was very positive. We arrived at 9:00 am, hoping for a place to leave our luggage until we could check in. You can only imagine how pleasantly surprised we were when told that our room was already available. We went to our room and were very happy to have a great view from our room. The Mississippi is truly a major waterway. The hotel is on a very quiet side street and connects directly onto Canal Street, and is edging the French Quarter. We made use of the trolleys on Canal to connect to the French Market and the Garden District. There are many great restaurants and night spots within an easy walk, and great shopping very nearby. There is a very large Casino across the street. Unfortunately we were only there two nights but will definitely go back.
9,4 Excellent
Points positifs: Beautiful hotel very comfortable
Points négatifs: I have two $50 charges on my credit card upon arrival that were poorly explained and I was told they would be refunded by now but they have not been. It feels like the hotel is charging me the difference between the hotels.com price I paid and the walk in price.
9,7 Excellent
Points positifs: The Westin is located on the riverfront, about a four or five block walk from the heart of the French Quarter. We loved the extra walk back and forth to meet friends given all the food indulges in NOLA. Staff was fabulous.
