When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

My takeaway from this is use websites like these to find airlines that are offering cheap flights and then just go to them directly to buy the tickets. Easier to deal with flight changes that way."

Every Air China flight I took (and I took 4) were the most turbulent I've ever taken, almost as if the pilot was purposefully trying to rattle us. Finally, one of the most annoying things about Air China is not being able to check in via app. Their tech is from 1987, so you have to go to their airport counter and endure long lines. I will NEVER fly with them again."

I would like Kayak to be cautious about working with flightnetwork.com because they took my money but did not honor my ticket or register it with Air China. While waiting to speak with an agent at flightnetwork.com, the Air China manager told me he had plans and would not wait for me to help solve the issue. I was left alone at the counter and forced to buy an entirely new ticket from a different carrier last minute. I do not recommend using Air China from NY JFK or the flightnework.com service connected to Kayak."
