The flight crew was kind.

Good evening, I’m not sure under which category our complaints should fall on your website so I will include them here. To summarize our complaint, we booked our tickets on Icelandair through Kayak (and Webjet) and upon arriving at the check-in counter on December 2, we were informed that the baggage fee for our flight would be $95 each! Understandably, we were shocked and very displeased. Nowhere in our confirmation emails or flight details was there anything about having to pay such a high rate for our luggage. The first employee we spoke to said that your airline has recently started charging such fees to compete with WOW Air and as I said to him, I would like to point out again that this is the very reason why I never choose to fly with WOW Air: they clearly state that there is a high baggage fee from the beginning of the registration process and I know of too many other airlines who don’t have such inflated fees. This ticketing agent and the manager said that the level of our ticket (apparently called Economy Light) indicated that we would be charged this baggage rate. It is now my understanding that on the Icelandair’s website, these levels are described but no such options were listed or explained on the Kayak website or any of our confirmation materials/emails. It is the responsibility of your site to post these important details in a conspicuous place so that travelers can make informed decisions. We could’ve flown with Air Portugal for a mere $50 more and saved not only over $200 each but also the inconvenience and frustration. Upon the check-in manager’s suggestion, I looked up our flight by the booking reservation number (LCWNEG) and again, the only “flight type” shown was called Economy, nothing more. The same is true for when we checked in online and reserved our seats - there was never an indication of the fees that were awaiting us. All this to say, we were incredibly upset to be surprised with an additional cost of $200/person (round trip ticket) but then, to add insult to injury, not only did we nearly miss our flight due to the length of time spent at the check-in desk, once we got on the plane and we realized we would not be served anything other than water or soda - since all food/meals must also be paid for in most Economy levels. This was our first experience with your airline/website and I highly doubt we will ever choose you in the future. I know now for a fact that other passengers who have booked through 3rd party sites have found themselves in similar bad situations. If you choose to work with airlines and offer lower rates, it is only honest and fair to make your policies clearly known to your potential customers. We felt mislead and deceived as these rates seemed hidden until it as too late. It does the job of taking you on time to the place you are flying to. I had forgotten that you have to purchase food but I find that much better: a lot less waste that on airlines where it is provided.

I didn't like anything...not enough connecting time , the flights are consistently late making for 20 minute connections with passport control...with my 91 yr old mother running the airport...i will NEVER take this carrier again!!!

The flight took off 2 hours late they must have known it was going to be that late, yet they lied saying that it was on time, forcing you to come to the airport early, then when you get to the airport they did the - oh its going to be 20 minutes late, no 40, no 1.5 hours late, heck it will be 2 hours late etc. Micro-tight seat pitch - I could barely sit in the seats.

Way too cramped a plane, horrible food, crew were not very pleasant. The entertainment system was broken and there was nothing offered to customers. At least give everyone a free drink or something. They told us they tried to fix it but that was obviously not true. And they tell us once were in the air, which is unfortunate because some of us could of downloaded things in advance had we known. Just handled exceptionally poorly. I will not be flying with Air Transat again after this experience. Once was enough.

I am a frequent flyer from HK to Western Europe and it’s a problem transversal to the majority of the airlines. Service quality drops significantly when coming to Asia. Flights to Europe provide exceptional service.

The service was not great which surprised me for swiss. The flight attendant was absolutely not into work. The seats supposed to work.. wasn’t .. we had to switch the seats with no help and with the lights off. Awful .. of course they didn’t noticed so they didn’t woke me up for the breakfast. (And I’ve been asking for). Maybe was bad luck but that’s really ridiculous. During the flight they didn’t brought water or something we had to call them.

Literally nothing

The seat was uncomfortable, the service was slow, both my flights (Newark to Reykjavik and Reykjavik to Heathrow) were delayed and the flight staff was incredibly poor about providing us updates not to mention any accuracy with the timing. Overall, my experience with Icelandic Air was so bad I will never fly with them again.

Flight delayed one day. All hotel booking got cancelled and tour that I arranged. Several hundred dollars are wasted, since it is less than one day notice. No refund. Flight ticket was cheap, but ended up pay more eventually. Also lost precious one day of my dream vacation. Airtransat do not pay back EU regulated fine to passengers. They gave us $200 credit only can use to purchase Airtansat ticket. Which will not be happen with me again. Hope Kayak seriously consider for future relationship with them. I also disappointed with kayak too, no delay or flight cancellation e-mail received from you.

Brand New plane. Great German entertainment. Crew were very efficient but didn't show up with drinks as often as in the past but still more often than other airlines. Overall a wonderful experience.

Took two hours to start dinner service without a reason. Turbulences and a passenger with long legs were impeading my sleep but not Lufthansa's fault.

Nothing.

Way too cramped a plane, horrible food, crew were not very pleasant. The entertainment system was broken and there was nothing offered to customers. At least give everyone a free drink or something. They told us they tried to fix it but that was obviously not true. And they tell us once were in the air, which is unfortunate because some of us could of downloaded things in advance had we known. Just handled exceptionally poorly. I will not be flying with Air Transat again after this experience. Once was enough.

They don’t have order while boarding No space for the carry on- they didn’t ask to check them for free.

Brand New plane. Great German entertainment. Crew were very efficient but didn't show up with drinks as often as in the past but still more often than other airlines. Overall a wonderful experience.

Took two hours to start dinner service without a reason. Turbulences and a passenger with long legs were impeading my sleep but not Lufthansa's fault.
