Points positifs : "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

The last hour in line was spent while in the front of the line while people from the back were being called ahead to check in because they were on other flights even though those flights were hours away. Secondly I preichecked in online the day before, chose a window seat, and when I checked in at the airport I was assigned a seat that did not match what I had chosen, which was also next to my partner I was flying with. There was no explanation until the gate at which point they said they changed planes and randomly reshuffled everyone's seats, after a call to the airline the customer service representative could not explain why anyone would ever say they "randomly reshuffled." The plane was overbooked so they could not accommodate my request to sit next to my partner. Finally at no point was there a warning about bringing water bought in the airport onto the plane (after security) but only upon boarding did they take the water away, some notice would have been helpful and saved a bunch of waste and money."

Also, I never received a breakfast (it was an 11 hour flight). I might have been asleep, not sure but then again once I was awake, no flight attendant came to ask if I wanted breakfast. In other words, while flight personnel was polite, they did not provide a very attentive service (and there were only 11 of us in the AM Premier business sections)."

After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."

Other thoughts: the plane was old, my seat had a lump in it, zero entertainment, food was over priced. (3 Euro for a tiny water). This may seem petty but ultimately the appearance and function of the plane represents their company as a whole. From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well."

Wi-Fi, new releases, even some classic 80's. if you get bored on this flight you really don't deserve to fly internationally."
